It is insane to me that Mihoyo was bold enough to let them put Lucy in Burnice's banner. Got Lucy to M6 because of that, and holy heck I can't begin to imagine taking her away from Burnice. And while the numbers are certainly fantastic, the rhythm of gameplay when hot-swapping from Burnice to Lucy and doing her longer EX Skill animation, especially into Piper, is so crisp.
As a user of Jane, i don't believe that piper even exist, so take this information with a grain of salt... But I had heard that canceling the animation of piper spin and not commit all your energy to her is more efficient and it clears with better times.
As a Piper enjoyer, and someone who will never play Jane. I say that Piper, Lucy, Burnice is the best team right now. The amazing art of this game really just makes the scene the enemies burning, numbers exploding, a blonde old lady spinning and boars falling from sky the best show this game ever had. I suggest running Burnice with energy regen disk in slot 6 for better experience.
@@minyaw1234 that depends, i think that in shiyu defence you don't need energy regen disks, stages take less than 2 minutes. You can even use a Bangboo. Ninive stage 11 is other story. It just makes more fun since you can use EX special full duration.
Just tried Burnice, Lucy, Piper and o boy it is so fun!😆Using Burnice's ult into the quick assist to Lucy is a great feeling and Piper doing the physical anomaly with Burnice doing the fire anomaly is amazing!😃
Man been running Burnice (M0), Piper (M4) and Lucy (M6) for fire/physical missions and they are so busted i completed content without anything on burnice and piper (except their sig wengines) but lucy had no dedicated drives but only B rank +0 woodpecker and shockstar. Its crazy how good this team is.
At Lucy M6 it basically has the same duration as Seths buff. Lucy in general is insane at M6 for an A Rank, rivaling Caesar in Burnice teams with her teamwide buff and piggy rain on flamethrower or spins. I've never played a smoother team than Burnice + Piper/Jane + Lucy in this game. Without M6 though I agree, her buff feels too short. Same reason why Rina feels bad. It just doesn't suffice in most rotations, especially if you also have to adjust mid combat. I wish they didn't lock sufficient buff duration behind mindscapes and instead just gave all buffs 20+ sec buff duration by default.
i just always swap to lucy after assist attack with burnice. pretty much all of the disorder team buffs are around like 10-15 seconds, especially with burnice right now. you have 13s chaos jazz cycles, 10s for proto punk buff, any non sig engine buffs, and you can hold ex on lucy and then just swap to the next char instead of waiting for quick assist to make the 15s EX buff go off quicker. both jane and piper would be doubling on assaults over that long of a period anyway so disorder really wants you to be quickswapping agents for max damage and swapping to burnice and back to main isn't much diff than burnice, swap to lucy real quick then back to main dps
Jane, Burnice, and Lucy in that specific order have helped me clear most of critical nodes. Plus, Jane and Burnice are both great on multiple anamoly disorder teams as well. Now, just saving up for Lighter
I got lucky with just a few pulls with caesar and burnice. Now I am playing with the Caesar, Piper, Burnice team. I would say its really comfortable to spin to win with Piper having the Caesar anti-interrupt buff. I could just think of reapplying the buff again and again to ensure their security doing their specials.
This is my plan too. Haven't pulled for Burnice yet. Gonna pull after I get done doing Caesar and Burnice's missions as I only really started getting into the game a week or so ago.

I'm currently running the Calydon's SPIN TEAM, they melt Shiyu so fast even on neutral damage lol. Sometimes I have to split them up, that's when I discover Grace Ben Burnice team, I've never seen so much disorders in my life @@
The one thing I didn't get out of Burnice's banner that I wanted was to finally secure myself a Seth. If I get that out of Yanagi's banner (along with a Yanagi, naturally) I'll be satisfied, but in the meantime, Burnice, Lucy and Grace are doing good work (while I build my Piper to succeed Grace.)

As a Day 1 piper main I run Piper/Burnice/Caesar. Expensive team but it truly makes her shines. Her assault application with the fast spin is insanely fast and Caesar's shields are more than just comfort, they allow her to face tank where dodging would lead to DPS loss.
I lost the 50/50 😭 its super cool i got grace i love her but like im not getting thru 80+ pulls to get burnice (my luck is so bad yall ALG looks like good luck gamer)
I'm impressed that even the Limited S rank that seemed the most niche is still able to carry a relatively low investment team of A ranks. Her off field damage is so much higher than I expected, lol.
I feel like the Jane, Burnice and Lucy comp is so smooth and powerful I'm really glad I got her. I've also played with Caesar in the Lucy slot and while Caesar's defensive utility is unrivaled I think I prefer the former due to the teamwide nature of the buffs. Caesar and Seth both seem like characters who are great on single DPS teams (basically with a support in the 3rd slot, not a sub-DPS). Just have to finish the event to secure my M6 Lucy now! For things like Ambush node it is very nice to have access to a tankier alternative team comp tho. Burnice is pretty vulnerable especially if you like to double flamethrower like I do (pyromaniac neurons light up in my brain lol).
Burnice has been really fun to play, i play Jane,Seth and Burnice, i don't have a well build lucy but i might try it later, although i feel like i will miss seth's shield.
The only character currently I have left to test with Burnice rn is my Piper. I like using Burnice with Caesar, but that goes for any character🤭My favorite team with Burnice is probably her, Caesar and Anby. Once I finish building Piper. I’m gonna try them with Caesar😊
I ended up getting Burnice with a lucky pull after losing the 50/50, and I'm still leveling her up, but so far it looks like she'll be really useful for me - combined with Caesar and Jane - so I finally have something to throw at nodes that aren't weak to ice or ether. What has surprised me is that Caesar works better for me in my Zyu Yuan team (along with Qingyi) than Nicole does. Of course, this leaves me in a position where all three of my teams benefit from Caesar... (Soukaku and Ellen being the third, with either Caesar or Anby Maybe I'll be able to get Lyacon eventually, lol.) Right now I really doubt I'm pulling anything until Miyabi, so at least I have some time to keep building them and trying things out.

im personally gonna go for yanagi (since i have a spare grace engine) unless they announce miyabi just like they did at the beginning of the caesar banner when they sneak peeked lighter and yanagi. tldr: miyabi > yanagi > anything else
Since I dont have Solider 11, I pulled with intention to run Burnice as a DPS. I built Burnice as a crit/ap dps to run with Koleda and Lucy and it has been working wonderfully for me. The rotation feels smooth and koleda's stun being so quick is really nice to be able to just burst down enemies quicker. I was planning to go more deeply into trying to optimize my gameplay on shiyu and try for a low clear time for the first time, and I have hopes for the way ive built her. As a baseline, what kind of times were you able to achieve with your monofire team so I have a sort of goalpost to work with?
I'm currently running Soldier 11 at M2 (w/ 2 star starlight) Burnice at M1 (w/ signature) and Lucy M5 ( w/ 5 star signature); I definitely feel the team needs a stunner to work perfectly, but a slight buffed impact soldier 11 is working quite nicely. Lighter is exactly what a S11 and Burnice team needs, but with how lucky I got with Burnice (M1 and signature w/ engine with 90 pulls total) I think I'm bound to lose the next 50/50, let alone I might not be able to get enough in time to pull. I don't have Koleda yet either, but as soon as I do, I'll try her out and see if Burnice core passive is needed (I personally don't think the 65% build-up is needed with how often S11 alone can build up and trigger burn)

You think the soldier 11 team will work with burnice and lighter since they're both sons of calydon and will get both synergies active? I'm running piper and lucy for disorders but i really want a mono fire team with s11 since i like her a lot too
Potentially crit Burnice can be better in mono fire. I was running her normal Attack / AP build as I mentioned I was having poor drive disc luck in order to get decent enough crit pieces for her.
If I’m saving for Miyabi, but Burnice would not hurt my funds to bad (unless I lose the 50/50) should I try for her before her banner is over or just wait it out? I did not get Caesar but I have Jane.
The livestream for Yanagi and Lighter will be tomorrow, and we will probably get drip marketing/leaks for Miyabi a week after that. You could wait a week to pull once you have more info. I believe that Miyabi will be ice anomoly, and that Yanagi is tailor made for her team. If thats the case I will be fine skipping Burnice.
Ambush node 5 is so brutal since its basically a " you got both a fire and phy anomaly team? no? too bad." still can't clear it. the mono fire team got super strong with burnice where it's now as strong as my eather dps team. just started working on koleda so i'm wondering how the fire stun team will do with her and ben.
I wanted Burrnice to play with Grace and Rina, but I feel that no one wants to bee much more time on field than the ithers, so it feels kinda wonky (Or maybe I'm terrible at it, most likely... ) . Let's see if Yanagi wants to be on the field more time than Grace Btw, you're not alone man. I've lost 4 50/50 back to back, on the feature channel...
I have piper and Lucy as 6 copies should I use them because I have Jane. Maxed out and seth too already so I could add her to thier team until I build Lucy and piper don't know any advice
I have Jane, Seth, and Grace on my main team. I use Grace in the 3rd slot mainly so I can use Ceasar and Lucy on my weaker team with Piper. If I end up pulling Burnince, what would be the ideal setup for my second, weaker team? I don't wanna pair Burnice with Jane as my Jane team clears everything just fine. It's my second team that struggles, especially in Shiryu Defense. Thanks to anybody that can help me out.
Based on the characters you have a few options. I’d leave Jane with Seth and Caesar then run Burnice, piper and lucy on the second team. If you want to upgrade that second team then just flip lucy and Caesar.
Lucy isn't great with jane because you cant abuse her c6, so piper is unironically better than jane with lucy. You gotta get a bit of hp and defence for piper though because she takes a bit of damage Edit: you gotta get 80% or more regen for piper if you do this, btw. Energy regen on the engine is fantastic and if you have an extra burnice engine t's great on her.
There are only 2 fire damage units in game, and none on the horizon. I think she still has a lot of value. I actually plan to pick her up with my 300 guarantee.

If only Seth's additional ability can be activated by his factions and anomaly, instead of factions and electric element, it would be much more easier fof me to build him with Piper and Burnice
Oh yeah, if they did that Seth would be _way_ more viable I think. Some synergies are just a nice bonus but hardly necessary, while some are a huge boost, and Seth's is one of the latter.
So far the only characters to not synergize with "faction and element" are limited S ranks. It could be that Hoyo wants to reserve that for them, or that they thought he'd be too strong if he could easily slot into more team comps.
Burnice's off-field contributions give me the feeling that she'll play well in literally any team, so between the two I'd go for her. I'm pulling for both though, based just off of design appeal.
I skipped Jane because I wanted to use Piper and saved for Burnice, tried to get more cinemas for Piper but got early Caesar, and now with Burnice, Piper just spins eternally
Skipped the rat and still Sethless, so I don't know how good he actually is, but Burnice/Piper/Lucy easily feels like my strongest team. From trying Seth a few times, I don't like playing as him at all. Luckily, I've never felt the need for him. Shields feel nice, but aren't needed, which is okay for me. I've already liked using Piper for a while now, and I barely used her with Caesar when I got the King. Comparatively, I did not like her with S11. I already have Koleda and Lucy, so burn is typically active when I want it anyway, so all Burnice does is lower S11's damage from either losing Lucy's buff or Koleda's stunning. And Burnice just loses damage from the diluted Burns that get overwritten before finishing. Pure fire with an anomaly agent doesn't sound great until they make a fire support or anomaly agent who bursts any remaining burn damage when it's replaced with another burn. Anyway, I do want her usable with Pulchra. I think the two look cute together, but it'd suck if she ends up our 3rd electric anomaly. Here's hoping she's something cool, like and attacker who increases burn and shock damage based on her crits.

Yep, you can even dodge while spinning (it will cancel the spin). And the passive stacks will go up eventually.

If you have her weapon you can get away without energy regen discs. But I agree without her weapon, you want 2 pieces of that for the energy regen.

Honestly, on the Seth vs Lucy thing, the 10-15 second buff on Lucy stresses me out, Seths buff basically lasts forever, in my head 🤷♀️

Assuming you eventually get lucy to m6, the buff will potentially last 30 sec for lucy if that helps.

Yeah I'm a big Seth enjoyer and putting anyone i need in the 3rd slot with jane and Seth depending on the circumstances, usually grace.
I took her to my Critical Node 7 round 1 with Piper and Nicole and crushed it. Lucy, Jane, and Seth took care of the back end. Incredibly fun man.

Lighter is exactly what a S11 and Burnice team needs, but with how lucky I got with Burnice (M1 and signature w/ engine with 90 pulls total) I think I'm bound to lose the next 50/50, let alone I might not be able to get enough in time to pull.
I don't have Koleda yet either, but as soon as I do, I'll try her out and see if Burnice core passive is needed (I personally don't think the 65% build-up is needed with how often S11 alone can build up and trigger burn)

You think the soldier 11 team will work with burnice and lighter since they're both sons of calydon and will get both synergies active? I'm running piper and lucy for disorders but i really want a mono fire team with s11 since i like her a lot too

what was Burnice running for the DPS team? u mentioned Crit Burnice before would that have been good?
Potentially crit Burnice can be better in mono fire. I was running her normal Attack / AP build as I mentioned I was having poor drive disc luck in order to get decent enough crit pieces for her.
Unfortunately i lost my 50/50 so unless i can get her in 20-30 pulls she will have to wait the next rerun to come home.
So I'll build seth to support grace and burnice, is the new defense set good for him in this team or is still better the anomaly set ?
I like him on the newer Defense set. He’s still fine if you have good other discs though. It’s his AP buff you want.
I know you said you wont talk about ceaser or jane but how do you feel about ceaser burnice grace 🤔
Like I said when I mentioned Caesar, she’s just an upgrade and negates the need to discuss lucy vs Seth so yep, if you have her go for it.
If I’m saving for Miyabi, but Burnice would not hurt my funds to bad (unless I lose the 50/50) should I try for her before her banner is over or just wait it out? I did not get Caesar but I have Jane.
The livestream for Yanagi and Lighter will be tomorrow, and we will probably get drip marketing/leaks for Miyabi a week after that. You could wait a week to pull once you have more info.
I believe that Miyabi will be ice anomoly, and that Yanagi is tailor made for her team. If thats the case I will be fine skipping Burnice.

the mono fire team got super strong with burnice where it's now as strong as my eather dps team. just started working on koleda so i'm wondering how the fire stun team will do with her and ben.
I wanted Burrnice to play with Grace and Rina, but I feel that no one wants to bee much more time on field than the ithers, so it feels kinda wonky (Or maybe I'm terrible at it, most likely... ) . Let's see if Yanagi wants to be on the field more time than Grace

I have piper and Lucy as 6 copies should I use them because I have Jane. Maxed out and seth too already so I could add her to thier team until I build Lucy and piper don't know any advice

caesar is good for shield too.. her shield parry makes certain encounters trivial.

Rina if you have the pen ratio. And got better multipliers use pen ratio on disc 5 on Janne and burnice if substation are good enough
I have Jane, Seth, and Grace on my main team. I use Grace in the 3rd slot mainly so I can use Ceasar and Lucy on my weaker team with Piper. If I end up pulling Burnince, what would be the ideal setup for my second, weaker team? I don't wanna pair Burnice with Jane as my Jane team clears everything just fine. It's my second team that struggles, especially in Shiryu Defense. Thanks to anybody that can help me out.
Based on the characters you have a few options. I’d leave Jane with Seth and Caesar then run Burnice, piper and lucy on the second team. If you want to upgrade that second team then just flip lucy and Caesar.
Was your Seth and Lucy both at M6 when you were testing?

Lucy isn't great with jane because you cant abuse her c6, so piper is unironically better than jane with lucy. You gotta get a bit of hp and defence for piper though because she takes a bit of damage
Edit: you gotta get 80% or more regen for piper if you do this, btw. Energy regen on the engine is fantastic and if you have an extra burnice engine t's great on her.

There are only 2 fire damage units in game, and none on the horizon. I think she still has a lot of value. I actually plan to pick her up with my 300 guarantee.

If only Seth's additional ability can be activated by his factions and anomaly, instead of factions and electric element, it would be much more easier fof me to build him with Piper and Burnice
Oh yeah, if they did that Seth would be _way_ more viable I think. Some synergies are just a nice bonus but hardly necessary, while some are a huge boost, and Seth's is one of the latter.
You'd also think he would have that built in, considering that he buffs Anomaly Proficiency...
Say, if i plan to use Seth but i only have Piper, who should i put on the third slot? I have Rina, Lucy & Caesar as a candidates
So far the only characters to not synergize with "faction and element" are limited S ranks. It could be that Hoyo wants to reserve that for them, or that they thought he'd be too strong if he could easily slot into more team comps.

Burnice's off-field contributions give me the feeling that she'll play well in literally any team, so between the two I'd go for her.

I skipped Jane because I wanted to use Piper and saved for Burnice, tried to get more cinemas for Piper but got early Caesar, and now with Burnice, Piper just spins eternally

Skipped the rat and still Sethless, so I don't know how good he actually is, but Burnice/Piper/Lucy easily feels like my strongest team. From trying Seth a few times, I don't like playing as him at all. Luckily, I've never felt the need for him. Shields feel nice, but aren't needed, which is okay for me. I've already liked using Piper for a while now, and I barely used her with Caesar when I got the King.
Comparatively, I did not like her with S11. I already have Koleda and Lucy, so burn is typically active when I want it anyway, so all Burnice does is lower S11's damage from either losing Lucy's buff or Koleda's stunning. And Burnice just loses damage from the diluted Burns that get overwritten before finishing.
Pure fire with an anomaly agent doesn't sound great until they make a fire support or anomaly agent who bursts any remaining burn damage when it's replaced with another burn.
Anyway, I do want her usable with Pulchra. I think the two look cute together, but it'd suck if she ends up our 3rd electric anomaly. Here's hoping she's something cool, like and attacker who increases burn and shock damage based on her crits.

Burnice makes Piper as good as an S class.

Energy regen for slot 6 disc with 2pc swing jazz is the way to go. I would say crit Burnice is a no no unless your're going for or have m4 Burnice
