I have ellen and i pulled for miyabi and her engine. Id say if you skip her you either really don’t like her or you don’t like making the game so easy and cool looking.
Your videos always help me so much with FOMO and give me more motivation to save for characters I actually want. Also I have Ellen and I cleared this shiyu no problem, so less reasons to pull and more polychromes saved for Evelyn!

Fully agreed with skipping if you don't want her. I haven't pulled her yet (waiting for the pull steam later) and I cleared S rank on the latest Shiyu without her. She's really cool and really good but there is a floor we have to work with (being Limited S ranks) so the content difficulty is adjusted accordingly. Sure, she makes it a lot easier like Caesar, but it isn't a necessity. Edit: in short, pull who you want.
Haven’t pulled any banners besides standard since the game came out. Managed to save up to 480 pulls, manage to get M2 and her weapon! UPDATE: I GOT MIYABI TO M3! PRAISE THE SUN
With all the "must pull this must pull that, power creep this and that " is good to have measured takes about how the current state of game and its requirement (characters wise). Instead of the measured and useful advice of "if you pull make sure you plan a team around the character" wich was the first advice i took from this channel, we too many alarmist " if you want this character you must pull for this other one" and too much extrapolation of what power creep might look like based on HSR On that note i really love how you title this kind of videos, the first part caughts the eyes in sort of way that usually gets click while the second part "(this one)" inmidiately measures the tone of the premise to be more reasonable.
I'd like to thank you for continuing to encourage levelheaded decision-making and not worrying about FOMO in the ZZZ community. The core philosophy of your channel (and the unapologetic but tasteful gooning) is why I always watch your content compared to much larger channels!
Despite how strong Miyabi is, and how I'm missing an Ice/Ether DPS for Shiyu, I won't be pulling Miyabi. I just don't like the playstyle enough. I was originally planning on pulling for her *anyway*, 'cause it's not like she'd be bad to have, but then Hoyo showed off Evelyn, and I realized who I really wanted to pull for. So I grabbed Lighter, and am gonna be saving for all of patch 1.4 for Evelyn, her Engine, and (if Evelyn really wants her) Astra Yao.
It's actually insane how well Miyabi and Yanagi go together. You go crazy with Miyabi as Yanagi's energy build up, then you 3 hold burst with Miyabi and switch to Yanagi and use it all and my god. The amount of dmg is actually insane. Both together completely melts bosses like crazy. Miyabi (so does Yanagi tbf) does a lot of dmg on her own, but both together completely trivializes everything. Yanagi basically gets a massive burst phase.
Thats my main thing. She's cool and all and really strong but her design alone isnt for me. Astra and Evelyn (reminds me of Yelan) interest me way more. Stay strong
For me, the biggest reason to skip her (Other than personal taste) is that they want us to pull her SO BADLY that they're hucking all this extra Poly out there. And stockpiling it instead of pulling is gonna feel goooooooood
I really needed the Why Should You Skip section. I have MASSIVE FOMO feelings regarding Miyabi as I’m a little bit of a meta chaser but not so much that I’ll go look up optimal sub stats upon getting a character. As I only got into the game last week (as of writing this comment) Knowing that re runs will eventually happen for her does put me at ease.
I had 70 pulls for Miyabi on day one so far. First 10 pull gave me a Soldier 11. The other 50 and the residuals gave me Miyabi. Had all materials to get her to an acceptable level 60 and built up. Got lucky with her disc 5 having ice damage. She is so strong. I beat the last 2 levels of shiyu defende and crushingnit where mybchoice of team before could not. And by a huge margin. I'm trying to get her engine now just cause I'm out of anomaly engine options and I'm very close to getting it.
@@Milla-hs8ln I stole my electro lip gloss engine from yanagi for a bit to do a test run in Shiyu. But after watching this video I remembered the Weeping W engine exists lol. But since I'm so close to getting Miyabi's I'm thinking I either do the las 16 pulls or start buying Weeping gemini and save the pulls.
For me honestly am not a big fan of pulling for w-engines since i think a character is way better and because am f2p aswell lol,but honestly am aswell using the weeping gemini and honestly its doing a really decent job! If u have some good crits on the discs then its good.@@Makocat
No regrets on pulling for Yanagi just on the fact she would be good for Miyabi. This duo is so insane. Lv 60. Max out her skills and her core. Crafted some decent some decent gear, enough to use her in combat already. Now we chillin for the next 34 days

Sonewhat unrelated but they changed it so that if you pan the camera up during free roam your agent will disappear like in Genshin. It's not as big of a deal as some people make it out to be, but it does beg the question of why have a higher age rating if it's going to be censored anyway, and why it was changed if that's what was intended to begin with. The fact that they left it until 1.4 suggests that it wasn't an accident.
I use her with Piper's engine. She is so absurdly strong I can't help but laugh when using her to shave off over a minute on Shiyu clears. She deserves to be two tiers higher than other dps if you rank her. Don't worry about her signature at all.
I've been waiting to get into ZZZ until a good time. Felt like this was it. So on my second account reroll, I got Miyabi on my first 10 pull which encouraged me to get her first cinema as well as her wengine (which I got towards pity for both but did win the 50/50 and 75/25). Probably wasn't a great idea to use all that game start polychrome but she has been such a monster that I find it hard to argue with so far.
I got SUPER lucky and I’m so grateful. Miyabi came home in exactly 20 pulls. I decided to try to knock down a little more pity after that and got another Rina just three pulls later. I took another 15 pulls and now I’m down to 75 left for hard pity. May all Miyabi wanters become Miyabi havers! I was only planning on getting Miyabi because she’s a special unique character type and I didn’t want to miss out on that, but in the story so far she’s starting to grow on me, and her moveset is actually really fun and has a lot more depth than I realized. When they dripped Astra, I was a bit conflicted. My only ether is still Nicole, so it’d be nice to get another, but Astra is a support too, and Nicole already has that role filled. I’m also not actually that keen on her design. But then they showed Evelyn and HOO BOY. She might be the hottest Agent we’ve gotten yet. I’m not jazzed that she’s another fire agent, but at least she’s an attacker, and I don’t have Soldier 11, and I’ve gotta go waifu over meta anyway. I’m really surprised at just how generous they’re being with polychromes this patch. I’m already back above where my Encrypted Master Tape count was before pulling for Miyabi, so I can just sit back and wait. I think what I’m going to do is save until I can guarantee Evelyn, and then maybe do a couple YOLO 10-pulls or something before Astra’s banner ends. I’m also praying I’ll have enough to get all three idols whenever they drop too.

I started 3 weeks ago and I just pulled Miyabi right before 50/50 and then I decided to go for W-Engine instead for fire mommy or step on me and I got 2 of them with 30 pulls! I still have 60 pulls left so I have plenty to try for one of the new characters if they work for my team composition.

My first pull on her banner was miyabi. needless to say i went all in with m2. (yes engine too) the gacha gods are guiding me. she is pretty incredible, but jane is also still holding her own. I think the only character I feel not having so far is ceasar for the battle tower. I really hope they dont do more systems that strongly favor one character. the new rogue like mode with miyabi is very strong but other characters work just as well. however, I can see preference for her abilities for sure.
The primary reasons I pulled her were for story and design - she was the character I saw at launch that made me want to play the game in the first place. But I also love her animations, sound effects, pretty much everything about her. It also helps that she hits like a truck :p She's the first character between all the gacha's I've played that I'm legitimately thinking about full committing to a f2p M6 on her rerun(s) by skipping everything in between. The only thing I might consider getting is Burnice's W-Engine, but M6 Miyabi is my long term goal c:

I was really debating if i wanted to get Miyabi, even waiting for this video. I wanted to start saving for the virtual idols. But seeing how great she works with Yanagi, i caved. It took a bit of practice but she works wonders! Paired her with Burnice and Yanagi and farm stacks. Not to mention the updated Ults, makes it helps with Disorders, which in turn, more stacks. I do not regret!
@@TheKikolito oh did you realize that Miyabi gets boosts by support characters? Also her icefire state pushes enemies to frostburn faster, and frostburn state allows anomaly build up for electro faster. Burnice works with her well, but there are ways to go even further beyond, but of course if you love using her this way then that's great too :3
I havent olayed Genshin, but in HSR, Acheron was lauded as "the strongest" and was considered an exception cause of her beinf so strong in lore. Yet here we are and shes already at the precipice of getting crept a year later in her own niche and was crept for Single Target damage just a few months later. Call me a doom poster, but I dont think Miyabi is going to stay this strong for long comparatively.
You pull the W-engine for stats I pull the engine, so Miyabi's ghost can have a shrine. We are not the same. Jokes aside, I got her and her weapon and her team. I knew I wanted a Section 6 team since when we saw them during the 1.0 story cutscene. And after I tried the Miyabi, Yanagi, Sokaku team. Oh boy I am in love. This team is the definition of Anime.
Miyabi is the storm that is approaching, but loosing all 50/50s on the way to M3 Lighter...yeah... left me pretty dry. Let's see if she comes home with the polys we receive from the event rewards

I completely skipped 1.3 for Miyabi, and managed to win her 50/50 at 80 pulls. I also got really lucky with winning the 75/25 for her W Engine at only 20 pulls. I'd like to think that my luck turned around after I lost both and had to go to 250 pulls for M0 W1 Burnice. Thanks as always for making these videos to counter FOMO, as good as Miyabi is there's no such thing as a "must-pull", only agents that you want to pull.
I already pulled miyabi and her weapon and not even four days later I’m almost already back to the 100 pulls I had when I tried pulling for her and I know ima get much more pulls in time to get both Astra and Evelyn
ive been saving since after burnice's banner for miyabi. i threw everything i had at her banner and got her at 60 pulls (winning my first 50/50 since launch). then threw everything left at her weapon banner and got it after 50 pulls (yet another 50/50 win). now, i would really, REALLY want to throw every bit of poly i get over the next month at her banner fishing for dupes, but first, she's already busted as hell as is (consistent sub 2 minute clear on the new notorious hunt boss), and second, the space between evelyn's milkers are calling my name.
As someone who missed out on both Ellen and Zhu Yuan I will pull on any ice or ether damage dealer. Miyabi happened to be ice damage dealer so she's already home.
Miyabi was a shoe in pull for me. Beside just thinking she's really cool, I already had a guaranteed 50/50 banked for her banner, i have basically any character that would be needed to support her including the s-ranks like Yanagi, Burnice etc. I had saved enough pulls too that I was able to pull her and her w-engine with 30 pulls remaining and 1k polychrome left. Got gulliver in about 10 pulls since i already made some "progress" on that banner previously. TBF though, i got really lucky to prep for that. Getting Yanagi at pull 40 and winning the 50/50, and then pulling soldier 11 at pull 20 on lighters banner to bank the guarantee 50/50. So while my Miyabi is just M0, i got everything i needed and didn't sell the entire house to do it.
okay you won me over, I'll sub. Just started playing the game last month and I was lucky enough to get Lighter and Miyabi scrounging every polychrome (literally got 90% of the arcade trophies) and Miyabi, Lighter + Lucy has completely changed the game for me. I don't have a lot of options yet so I don't really know what can be better - just saying these 3 perform most of the content much more easily. I think I'll save up for Eve. Out of curiously, do you use a daily polychrome goal? 200-500 a log in, or do you wing it? Thanks for all the content, it's helpful and hilarious.
If they do something like they did for Acheron where they released a light cone that work for her but with an A-rank w engine it would be nice. On a side note my saving payed off I got C2 Miyabi and her W-Engine
my next S rank is guaranteed and I'm currently lacking in a DPS Ice unit, so pulling Miyabi would be really smart, so that's why I am... Building DPS Soukaku, yeah I know it's dumb but I can't bring myself to waste a guarantee on a character I feel nothing towards, so I'll suffer the consequences and just hope that Mihoyo eventually releases an ice DPS I actually want to play

I got both miyabi and Rina from my pulls today, 0 pity and about 70 pulls used, got them from the same 10 pull which for me was great because i wanted both of them in my roster. Now im farming to get her signature engine and after that, i might try to get Evelyn or the new support girl i forgot the name of. I definitely dont have a problem with pulling Miyabi because i dont have ellen, so i needed an ice carry, shes great specially being a dps anomaly hybrid, you can do anomalies with her and Burnice or idk (not that you cant with ellen, but its easier with Miyabi)
I just dumped 25 searches into her weapon banner trying to snag an early. I think i'm gonna leave it at that and just save for next patch. 180 wishes if your a BP + Login player this patch. So more than enough to secure our first s ranked support agent. I told myself if i won the 50/50 i ld put the left over wishes into her weapon. I am lacking in weapons though Yanagi has my Lip Gloss and Brunice the next best option. I might just have to go Lip Gloss again this BP cycle. With great luck (Winning 4 50/50s in a row including two pre 40 search earlies) comes great resource constraints.
I never regret getting Miyabi. I know I can probably get enough pulls for the next character easily enough. It only took 3 days for me to get the 67 pulls I needed to get her w engine so I have the rest of the month to save 🎉
Started a new account a month ago, hit ik50 the day she dropped picked her up m2 and her weapon. I hadn't cleared shiyu10 side because I didn't have 2 teams. With her at m2 lvl 60 lvl1 core and skill I s ranked all of shiyu 10 with her solo team and shiyu 7 to 4, went to tower 13 with her solo, her disc's are lvl 0...she is absolutely broken
Started with 610 pulls (I’ve been saving all game and skipping all limited S ranks) got an M3R3 Miyabi, and 130 pulls left over to start saving for an M0R1 Astra. As soon as they announce reruns, I’m going back to skipping everybody mode so I can get that beautiful M6
When beta was happening, Miyabi was the character I thought was super cool, and though I only ended up starting when I saw Lighter revealed, I am glad that not only did I get her but that she has a nice team with Lighter as well. I managed to get Lucy on my first 10 pull on Harumasa's banner after getting Miyabi (she refused to come home off banner anywhere else...). Literally best choice for me since I genuinely enjoy her character, gameplay, and synergy with the only other character I really had any interest in. I was holding off on building other teams or agents because I wanted to make sure I had the resources for her and Lucy lol. So my previous "team" was Lighter, Soukaku, and Anby since they were the only other two I put some building into early on. I was able to brute force some things but literally the difference in having not only a strong dps but also a team that actually works together really took my account to the next level, even with suboptimal builds (poor Lucy has like nothing but still!). Now that I have her, I'm going to put in the time for other characters as well so I can start really getting into the endgame content I've been avoiding.
Only pulled for yanagi and miyabi AND their weapons so far and got 100 pulls left. I just really like section 6 and everything related to hollow zero lorewise. Now to wait for the next cool character
I'm definitely on the fence for Miyabi mostly bc my account is already pretty well set in terms of dps, so I'd rather get a high value support unit instead if that's what we'll end up getting with Astra. I also don't want to go back into the drive disc mines, lol.
For all the people who want Miyabi, but didn't get Yanagi. I've been running Grace and Rina with Miyabi and it feels really good. You can quick swap to Grace during Miyabis charge attack, pop the frost burn pretty quick, then go back to Miyabi. Rina is just there to be a support and a second electric, but you could probably just forgo Grace's team passive if you don't have Rina.
Miyabi is probably the biggest push we've seen from Hoyo to pull for her weapon/mindscapes. Given that Harumasa is free and that she is running for the entirety of 1.4 I imagine she'll have the highest amount of people getting her signature and potentially M1/M2. Also, while I understand why people are worried about Miyabi being the start of powercreep, I think people are forgetting that she is unique since she is the first Void Hunter. As a result, I don't think it's accurate to assume that she'll be the new baseline.
So… my 1st 50/50… I lost. But I had enough pulls for a guarantee and now she’s on my roster of characters. I doubt get her w-engine but I’m definitely gonna enjoy using her
As a F2P player, i pulled for Miyabi, her engine, and i'll spend the rest of the pulls that i have and the ones i dont have for her c6. Now that is how a trully responsable F2P player spends their pulls.
Miyabi was my luckiest banner I lost the 50/50 to yanagi, and I skipped lighter. But i was meticulous, logged in every single day, did my dailies, shiyu defense, hollow zero, scrounged every poluchrome i could find I had about 185 pulls saved. I went for m2 miyabi, got extremely lucky with winning two 50/50s back to back. Securing my m2 Miyabi But i was down to about 12 pulls left. So i decided to do some single puls on the weapon banner, and in the VERY FIRST pull, with 0 pity, i got the weapon! Just insane luck. Ill def never have luck like that ever again
I managed to get her W Engine- was afraid wouldn't on the account Miyabi forcing me to do hard pity twice- but thankfully Soukaku, Piper and such were max Cinema mindscapes, so I gotten a lot of residuals to do enough pulls for the w engine and managed to get it within five ten pulls. Although, I did not realize they were doing Master tapes log in dailies as well eheh. But yeah she is definitely insane and if built right, she can really solo a lot of enemies- I did a testign with just her W engine at lvl 50 against other lvl 50 enemies and...yeah she shreds them like their nothing. At lvl 1 talents too. Still takes awhile but yeah she's insane with her combos and such. Right now though I need to wait and charge my battery charges in order to get her needed disc drives. I am gonna try and make her broken as possible lol.
Think about it this way. Why would you ever need a support, when you instantly melt everything anyway... If you have Yanagi especially, I recommend getting her. Also, she is very satisfying to play. People were comparing her a lot to Vergil, and although not nearly as hard to play, you do get a similar satisfying feeling playing her.
i lost my 50/50, i personally just think miyabi is bait. shes incredible but needing her wengine so badly (and evelyn being around the corner, i mean come on) im pulling on miyabi and her wengine still, but boy do i think i'll regret it.
I’m lacking certain elements in my roster, including Ice and ether, I currently have only 48 pulls available to me, hopefully I have enough! If not, then I’ll save for future characters instead!
As a F2P who farmed 70 pulls after losing Yanagi on early pity then skipped Lighter and proceeded to prefarm her including Hi-Fi Copies for her Drive Disc, - Got Miyabi in 60 pulls - Spent last 10 on Sig. WEngine - Proceeded to farm 70 pulls a few hours after 1.4 released - Win 75/25 on WEngine I'm currently resting on a 80/128 CR/CD on her. I'd say she's one of my BEST investments alongside my M1 Jane Doe with Sig. WEngine. I say best because I don't have an Ice or Ether DPS for Shiyu Defense at all, I can confidently say I was struggling a good bit getting all 7 on S rank. Currently running Miyabi with Burnice and Lucy and the result even without Yanagi is absolutely bonkers. Definitely a good unit for anyone who has leftover Polychrome or didn't pull for Ellen or missed her. Amazing videos as always, I look forward to the videos you'll make about Evelyn and Astra Yao.

@@larida2799 Yeah, not having an ice or ether agent is a big incentive to pull for her. As long as you like her then that's reason enough to pull, though I do see people who say things like "I don't like her but I have to pull for her", which is just not true. There's no point playing if you don't like the agents you're pulling for.
Miyabi/Lighter/Lucy team is awesome. I messed around with the Yanagi team a bit but I don’t care for it lol the Lighter team is much more comfortable. I think there’s too much going on in the Yanagi team not just mechanically but also visually, whereas Lighter and Lucy being more low-key let Miyabi shine and it’s more relaxed too while also getting good synergy. Highly recommend to any Lighter owners to try this team out
Hit hard pity on her banner, but won the 50/50 so got one copy of her. I was also able to get her wengine guaranteed because I lost on Lighter’s wengine 50/50. So far she’s been fun. Struggling to level her though since I’m so broke in game lol.
I finally won a 50/50, I still have 60 pulls so by the end I should be able to guarantee Astra. Might put some pulls into her house if I can budget it (tho i have her at 73% crit with her set)

I ended up grabbing miyabi even tho im gonna keep using ellen as my ice main because miyabis gameplay was just really fun so i wanted 1 copy so that i could play her whenever definitely suffering from no crit bc i only have Pipers w-engine for anomaly but again i only got her for casual fun
Her Wengine was my first ever gacha weapon and I don't regret it one bit, because with all of the free polychromes we get + getting Harumasa free I will be more than able to get enough to pull in 1.5 😁
I built a good miyabi in under 5 hours with very little preparation (I wanted to skip her (but couldn't) but then thought waiting with the upgrades (and couldn't)
I started the event with 130 pulls. Got Myiabi and sig w engine for 90 pulls, Im already at 90 pulls again from gifts from hoyo and clears now that I have two DPS’s she’s awesome
I have almost 16,000 polychromes left since I got pretty lucky getting Miyabi W-Engine early (20 pulls) + getting Miyabi in 66 pulls plan on saving for Astra because I like her character personality and design (still not sure about Evelyn but we'll see) I could technically try to get Miyabi M2 but I won't lol since M0 or M2 I would still used Yanagi as my main on field dps since she's my favorite character in ZZZ, meta be damn 🤣
Lost to Rina(not bad actually considering I had her weapon, and would be useful with Yanagi and other electric team), and is 15 pulls away from soft pity now. Will definitely get her but not her weapon, next patch getting Astra, cuz she is literally Robin from hsr and a great support
Saved about 200 pulls and got 2 Miyabi and 1 W Engine. But it took almost all my polychrome and i really want astra so i hope ill be able to at least have enough for one copy of Astra by the start of 1.5

I have ellen and i pulled for miyabi and her engine. Id say if you skip her you either really don’t like her or you don’t like making the game so easy and cool looking.

She's really cool and really good but there is a floor we have to work with (being Limited S ranks) so the content difficulty is adjusted accordingly. Sure, she makes it a lot easier like Caesar, but it isn't a necessity.

With all the "must pull this must pull that, power creep this and that " is good to have measured takes about how the current state of game and its requirement (characters wise). Instead of the measured and useful advice of "if you pull make sure you plan a team around the character" wich was the first advice i took from this channel, we too many alarmist " if you want this character you must pull for this other one" and too much extrapolation of what power creep might look like based on HSR
On that note i really love how you title this kind of videos, the first part caughts the eyes in sort of way that usually gets click while the second part "(this one)" inmidiately measures the tone of the premise to be more reasonable.
I'd like to thank you for continuing to encourage levelheaded decision-making and not worrying about FOMO in the ZZZ community. The core philosophy of your channel (and the unapologetic but tasteful gooning) is why I always watch your content compared to much larger channels!
Despite how strong Miyabi is, and how I'm missing an Ice/Ether DPS for Shiyu, I won't be pulling Miyabi. I just don't like the playstyle enough. I was originally planning on pulling for her *anyway*, 'cause it's not like she'd be bad to have, but then Hoyo showed off Evelyn, and I realized who I really wanted to pull for. So I grabbed Lighter, and am gonna be saving for all of patch 1.4 for Evelyn, her Engine, and (if Evelyn really wants her) Astra Yao.
It's actually insane how well Miyabi and Yanagi go together. You go crazy with Miyabi as Yanagi's energy build up, then you 3 hold burst with Miyabi and switch to Yanagi and use it all and my god. The amount of dmg is actually insane. Both together completely melts bosses like crazy. Miyabi (so does Yanagi tbf) does a lot of dmg on her own, but both together completely trivializes everything. Yanagi basically gets a massive burst phase.
It’s so tempting to pull for her she is really fun to play but Astra and Evelyn excite me more, their designs are incredible.
Thats my main thing. She's cool and all and really strong but her design alone isnt for me. Astra and Evelyn (reminds me of Yelan) interest me way more. Stay strong

For me, the biggest reason to skip her (Other than personal taste) is that they want us to pull her SO BADLY that they're hucking all this extra Poly out there.

I really needed the Why Should You Skip section. I have MASSIVE FOMO feelings regarding Miyabi as I’m a little bit of a meta chaser but not so much that I’ll go look up optimal sub stats upon getting a character. As I only got into the game last week (as of writing this comment)
Knowing that re runs will eventually happen for her does put me at ease.
I had 70 pulls for Miyabi on day one so far. First 10 pull gave me a Soldier 11. The other 50 and the residuals gave me Miyabi. Had all materials to get her to an acceptable level 60 and built up. Got lucky with her disc 5 having ice damage. She is so strong. I beat the last 2 levels of shiyu defende and crushingnit where mybchoice of team before could not. And by a huge margin. I'm trying to get her engine now just cause I'm out of anomaly engine options and I'm very close to getting it.

@@Milla-hs8ln I stole my electro lip gloss engine from yanagi for a bit to do a test run in Shiyu. But after watching this video I remembered the Weeping W engine exists lol. But since I'm so close to getting Miyabi's I'm thinking I either do the las 16 pulls or start buying Weeping gemini and save the pulls.
For me honestly am not a big fan of pulling for w-engines since i think a character is way better and because am f2p aswell lol,but honestly am aswell using the weeping gemini and honestly its doing a really decent job! If u have some good crits on the discs then its good.@@Makocat
No regrets on pulling for Yanagi just on the fact she would be good for Miyabi. This duo is so insane.

I skipped Yanagi since I personally wasn't a fan of her gameplay and her W Engine situation, though she is undoubtedly the BiS for Miyabi.

Sonewhat unrelated but they changed it so that if you pan the camera up during free roam your agent will disappear like in Genshin. It's not as big of a deal as some people make it out to be, but it does beg the question of why have a higher age rating if it's going to be censored anyway, and why it was changed if that's what was intended to begin with. The fact that they left it until 1.4 suggests that it wasn't an accident.
I use her with Piper's engine. She is so absurdly strong I can't help but laugh when using her to shave off over a minute on Shiyu clears. She deserves to be two tiers higher than other dps if you rank her. Don't worry about her signature at all.
I've been waiting to get into ZZZ until a good time. Felt like this was it. So on my second account reroll, I got Miyabi on my first 10 pull which encouraged me to get her first cinema as well as her wengine (which I got towards pity for both but did win the 50/50 and 75/25). Probably wasn't a great idea to use all that game start polychrome but she has been such a monster that I find it hard to argue with so far.
I got SUPER lucky and I’m so grateful. Miyabi came home in exactly 20 pulls. I decided to try to knock down a little more pity after that and got another Rina just three pulls later. I took another 15 pulls and now I’m down to 75 left for hard pity. May all Miyabi wanters become Miyabi havers!
I was only planning on getting Miyabi because she’s a special unique character type and I didn’t want to miss out on that, but in the story so far she’s starting to grow on me, and her moveset is actually really fun and has a lot more depth than I realized.
When they dripped Astra, I was a bit conflicted. My only ether is still Nicole, so it’d be nice to get another, but Astra is a support too, and Nicole already has that role filled. I’m also not actually that keen on her design. But then they showed Evelyn and HOO BOY. She might be the hottest Agent we’ve gotten yet. I’m not jazzed that she’s another fire agent, but at least she’s an attacker, and I don’t have Soldier 11, and I’ve gotta go waifu over meta anyway.
I’m really surprised at just how generous they’re being with polychromes this patch. I’m already back above where my Encrypted Master Tape count was before pulling for Miyabi, so I can just sit back and wait. I think what I’m going to do is save until I can guarantee Evelyn, and then maybe do a couple YOLO 10-pulls or something before Astra’s banner ends. I’m also praying I’ll have enough to get all three idols whenever they drop too.

I started 3 weeks ago and I just pulled Miyabi right before 50/50 and then I decided to go for W-Engine instead for fire mommy or step on me and I got 2 of them with 30 pulls!
I still have 60 pulls left so I have plenty to try for one of the new characters if they work for my team composition.

My first pull on her banner was miyabi. needless to say i went all in with m2. (yes engine too) the gacha gods are guiding me.
she is pretty incredible, but jane is also still holding her own. I think the only character I feel not having so far is ceasar for the battle tower. I really hope they dont do more systems that strongly favor one character. the new rogue like mode with miyabi is very strong but other characters work just as well. however, I can see preference for her abilities for sure.

The primary reasons I pulled her were for story and design - she was the character I saw at launch that made me want to play the game in the first place. But I also love her animations, sound effects, pretty much everything about her. It also helps that she hits like a truck :p
She's the first character between all the gacha's I've played that I'm legitimately thinking about full committing to a f2p M6 on her rerun(s) by skipping everything in between. The only thing I might consider getting is Burnice's W-Engine, but M6 Miyabi is my long term goal c:

I was really debating if i wanted to get Miyabi, even waiting for this video. I wanted to start saving for the virtual idols.
But seeing how great she works with Yanagi, i caved. It took a bit of practice but she works wonders! Paired her with Burnice and Yanagi and farm stacks. Not to mention the updated Ults, makes it helps with Disorders, which in turn, more stacks. I do not regret!
Now all that's missing is a burnice rerun for her wengine which I missed
@@TheKikolito oh did you realize that Miyabi gets boosts by support characters? Also her icefire state pushes enemies to frostburn faster, and frostburn state allows anomaly build up for electro faster. Burnice works with her well, but there are ways to go even further beyond, but of course if you love using her this way then that's great too :3
I havent olayed Genshin, but in HSR, Acheron was lauded as "the strongest" and was considered an exception cause of her beinf so strong in lore. Yet here we are and shes already at the precipice of getting crept a year later in her own niche and was crept for Single Target damage just a few months later. Call me a doom poster, but I dont think Miyabi is going to stay this strong for long comparatively.

Jokes aside, I got her and her weapon and her team. I knew I wanted a Section 6 team since when we saw them during the 1.0 story cutscene. And after I tried the Miyabi, Yanagi, Sokaku team. Oh boy I am in love. This team is the definition of Anime.
Miyabi is the storm that is approaching, but loosing all 50/50s on the way to M3 Lighter...yeah... left me pretty dry. Let's see if she comes home with the polys we receive from the event rewards

I completely skipped 1.3 for Miyabi, and managed to win her 50/50 at 80 pulls. I also got really lucky with winning the 75/25 for her W Engine at only 20 pulls. I'd like to think that my luck turned around after I lost both and had to go to 250 pulls for M0 W1 Burnice.

I already pulled miyabi and her weapon and not even four days later I’m almost already back to the 100 pulls I had when I tried pulling for her and I know ima get much more pulls in time to get both Astra and Evelyn
ive been saving since after burnice's banner for miyabi. i threw everything i had at her banner and got her at 60 pulls (winning my first 50/50 since launch). then threw everything left at her weapon banner and got it after 50 pulls (yet another 50/50 win). now, i would really, REALLY want to throw every bit of poly i get over the next month at her banner fishing for dupes, but first, she's already busted as hell as is (consistent sub 2 minute clear on the new notorious hunt boss), and second, the space between evelyn's milkers are calling my name.
As someone who missed out on both Ellen and Zhu Yuan I will pull on any ice or ether damage dealer. Miyabi happened to be ice damage dealer so she's already home.
Miyabi was a shoe in pull for me. Beside just thinking she's really cool, I already had a guaranteed 50/50 banked for her banner, i have basically any character that would be needed to support her including the s-ranks like Yanagi, Burnice etc. I had saved enough pulls too that I was able to pull her and her w-engine with 30 pulls remaining and 1k polychrome left. Got gulliver in about 10 pulls since i already made some "progress" on that banner previously.
TBF though, i got really lucky to prep for that. Getting Yanagi at pull 40 and winning the 50/50, and then pulling soldier 11 at pull 20 on lighters banner to bank the guarantee 50/50. So while my Miyabi is just M0, i got everything i needed and didn't sell the entire house to do it.

Just started playing the game last month and I was lucky enough to get Lighter and Miyabi scrounging every polychrome (literally got 90% of the arcade trophies) and Miyabi, Lighter + Lucy has completely changed the game for me. I don't have a lot of options yet so I don't really know what can be better - just saying these 3 perform most of the content much more easily. I think I'll save up for Eve. Out of curiously, do you use a daily polychrome goal? 200-500 a log in, or do you wing it? Thanks for all the content, it's helpful and hilarious.
If they do something like they did for Acheron where they released a light cone that work for her but with an A-rank w engine it would be nice.

I got both miyabi and Rina from my pulls today, 0 pity and about 70 pulls used, got them from the same 10 pull which for me was great because i wanted both of them in my roster. Now im farming to get her signature engine and after that, i might try to get Evelyn or the new support girl i forgot the name of. I definitely dont have a problem with pulling Miyabi because i dont have ellen, so i needed an ice carry, shes great specially being a dps anomaly hybrid, you can do anomalies with her and Burnice or idk (not that you cant with ellen, but its easier with Miyabi)
I just dumped 25 searches into her weapon banner trying to snag an early. I think i'm gonna leave it at that and just save for next patch. 180 wishes if your a BP + Login player this patch. So more than enough to secure our first s ranked support agent. I told myself if i won the 50/50 i ld put the left over wishes into her weapon. I am lacking in weapons though Yanagi has my Lip Gloss and Brunice the next best option. I might just have to go Lip Gloss again this BP cycle. With great luck (Winning 4 50/50s in a row including two pre 40 search earlies) comes great resource constraints.
I never regret getting Miyabi. I know I can probably get enough pulls for the next character easily enough. It only took 3 days for me to get the 67 pulls I needed to get her w engine so I have the rest of the month to save 🎉

Started a new account a month ago, hit ik50 the day she dropped picked her up m2 and her weapon. I hadn't cleared shiyu10 side because I didn't have 2 teams. With her at m2 lvl 60 lvl1 core and skill I s ranked all of shiyu 10 with her solo team and shiyu 7 to 4, went to tower 13 with her solo, her disc's are lvl 0...she is absolutely broken
Started with 610 pulls (I’ve been saving all game and skipping all limited S ranks) got an M3R3 Miyabi, and 130 pulls left over to start saving for an M0R1 Astra. As soon as they announce reruns, I’m going back to skipping everybody mode so I can get that beautiful M6
When beta was happening, Miyabi was the character I thought was super cool, and though I only ended up starting when I saw Lighter revealed, I am glad that not only did I get her but that she has a nice team with Lighter as well. I managed to get Lucy on my first 10 pull on Harumasa's banner after getting Miyabi (she refused to come home off banner anywhere else...).
Literally best choice for me since I genuinely enjoy her character, gameplay, and synergy with the only other character I really had any interest in. I was holding off on building other teams or agents because I wanted to make sure I had the resources for her and Lucy lol. So my previous "team" was Lighter, Soukaku, and Anby since they were the only other two I put some building into early on. I was able to brute force some things but literally the difference in having not only a strong dps but also a team that actually works together really took my account to the next level, even with suboptimal builds (poor Lucy has like nothing but still!). Now that I have her, I'm going to put in the time for other characters as well so I can start really getting into the endgame content I've been avoiding.
Only pulled for yanagi and miyabi AND their weapons so far and got 100 pulls left. I just really like section 6 and everything related to hollow zero lorewise. Now to wait for the next cool character
I'm definitely on the fence for Miyabi mostly bc my account is already pretty well set in terms of dps, so I'd rather get a high value support unit instead if that's what we'll end up getting with Astra. I also don't want to go back into the drive disc mines, lol.
For all the people who want Miyabi, but didn't get Yanagi. I've been running Grace and Rina with Miyabi and it feels really good. You can quick swap to Grace during Miyabis charge attack, pop the frost burn pretty quick, then go back to Miyabi. Rina is just there to be a support and a second electric, but you could probably just forgo Grace's team passive if you don't have Rina.
Still debating on benching Ellen Joe or soldier 11 because she does well on both of their teams as the dps🥲
Miyabi is probably the biggest push we've seen from Hoyo to pull for her weapon/mindscapes. Given that Harumasa is free and that she is running for the entirety of 1.4 I imagine she'll have the highest amount of people getting her signature and potentially M1/M2.
Also, while I understand why people are worried about Miyabi being the start of powercreep, I think people are forgetting that she is unique since she is the first Void Hunter. As a result, I don't think it's accurate to assume that she'll be the new baseline.

So… my 1st 50/50… I lost. But I had enough pulls for a guarantee and now she’s on my roster of characters. I doubt get her w-engine but I’m definitely gonna enjoy using her
As a F2P player, i pulled for Miyabi, her engine, and i'll spend the rest of the pulls that i have and the ones i dont have for her c6. Now that is how a trully responsable F2P player spends their pulls.
Miyabi was my luckiest banner
I lost the 50/50 to yanagi, and I skipped lighter. But i was meticulous, logged in every single day, did my dailies, shiyu defense, hollow zero, scrounged every poluchrome i could find
I had about 185 pulls saved. I went for m2 miyabi, got extremely lucky with winning two 50/50s back to back. Securing my m2 Miyabi
But i was down to about 12 pulls left. So i decided to do some single puls on the weapon banner, and in the VERY FIRST pull, with 0 pity, i got the weapon!
Just insane luck. Ill def never have luck like that ever again
I managed to get her W Engine- was afraid wouldn't on the account Miyabi forcing me to do hard pity twice- but thankfully Soukaku, Piper and such were max Cinema mindscapes, so I gotten a lot of residuals to do enough pulls for the w engine and managed to get it within five ten pulls. Although, I did not realize they were doing Master tapes log in dailies as well eheh.
But yeah she is definitely insane and if built right, she can really solo a lot of enemies- I did a testign with just her W engine at lvl 50 against other lvl 50 enemies and...yeah she shreds them like their nothing. At lvl 1 talents too. Still takes awhile but yeah she's insane with her combos and such.
Right now though I need to wait and charge my battery charges in order to get her needed disc drives. I am gonna try and make her broken as possible lol.
Think about it this way. Why would you ever need a support, when you instantly melt everything anyway... If you have Yanagi especially, I recommend getting her. Also, she is very satisfying to play. People were comparing her a lot to Vergil, and although not nearly as hard to play, you do get a similar satisfying feeling playing her.

As a F2P who farmed 70 pulls after losing Yanagi on early pity then skipped Lighter and proceeded to prefarm her including Hi-Fi Copies for her Drive Disc,
- Got Miyabi in 60 pulls
- Spent last 10 on Sig. WEngine
- Proceeded to farm 70 pulls a few hours after 1.4 released
- Win 75/25 on WEngine
I'm currently resting on a 80/128 CR/CD on her. I'd say she's one of my BEST investments alongside my M1 Jane Doe with Sig. WEngine. I say best because I don't have an Ice or Ether DPS for Shiyu Defense at all, I can confidently say I was struggling a good bit getting all 7 on S rank. Currently running Miyabi with Burnice and Lucy and the result even without Yanagi is absolutely bonkers. Definitely a good unit for anyone who has leftover Polychrome or didn't pull for Ellen or missed her.

Miyabi/Lighter/Lucy team is awesome. I messed around with the Yanagi team a bit but I don’t care for it lol the Lighter team is much more comfortable. I think there’s too much going on in the Yanagi team not just mechanically but also visually, whereas Lighter and Lucy being more low-key let Miyabi shine and it’s more relaxed too while also getting good synergy. Highly recommend to any Lighter owners to try this team out
Burnice instead of Lighter also works pretty well too.

Hit hard pity on her banner, but won the 50/50 so got one copy of her. I was also able to get her wengine guaranteed because I lost on Lighter’s wengine 50/50. So far she’s been fun. Struggling to level her though since I’m so broke in game lol.
I finally won a 50/50, I still have 60 pulls so by the end I should be able to guarantee Astra. Might put some pulls into her house if I can budget it (tho i have her at 73% crit with her set)

Lost 50/50 to soldier 11 at 0 pity and got my m0w1 miyabi in a total of 100 pulls. I'm more than happy since my avg S luck is at around 76 pulls
I ended up grabbing miyabi even tho im gonna keep using ellen as my ice main because miyabis gameplay was just really fun so i wanted 1 copy so that i could play her whenever definitely suffering from no crit bc i only have Pipers w-engine for anomaly but again i only got her for casual fun
Already pulled for miyabi, only got m1 and her wengine but i don't regret it. Then again idol girls are my next hype tbh
Her Wengine was my first ever gacha weapon and I don't regret it one bit, because with all of the free polychromes we get + getting Harumasa free I will be more than able to get enough to pull in 1.5 😁
I built a good miyabi in under 5 hours with very little preparation (I wanted to skip her (but couldn't) but then thought waiting with the upgrades (and couldn't)
I got her an her sig, and she absolutely feels like a main character when I play her. She’s amazing, and very much OP even without her w-engine 🎉
maxed all core skills and base skills, already level 60, just trying to pull that wengine now.
I started the event with 130 pulls. Got Myiabi and sig w engine for 90 pulls, Im already at 90 pulls again from gifts from hoyo and clears now that I have two DPS’s she’s awesome
I have almost 16,000 polychromes left since I got pretty lucky getting Miyabi W-Engine early (20 pulls) + getting Miyabi in 66 pulls
plan on saving for Astra because I like her character personality and design (still not sure about Evelyn but we'll see)
I could technically try to get Miyabi M2 but I won't lol since M0 or M2 I would still used Yanagi as my main on field dps since she's my favorite character in ZZZ, meta be damn 🤣

Lost to Rina(not bad actually considering I had her weapon, and would be useful with Yanagi and other electric team), and is 15 pulls away from soft pity now. Will definitely get her but not her weapon, next patch getting Astra, cuz she is literally Robin from hsr and a great support
I lost the 50/50 on Yanagi so I went for Miyabi and pulled two copies from the same 10 pull
Me watching this knowing full well I already pulled her and her engine
Saved about 200 pulls and got 2 Miyabi and 1 W Engine. But it took almost all my polychrome and i really want astra so i hope ill be able to at least have enough for one copy of Astra by the start of 1.5
