I will give a comment as someone who is directly involved in the synnibear03 drama. I was friends with Synni for five years and am friends with Jack currently. I watched this entire thing go down first hand. None of this is meant to be like, a “hate comment” LOL I just want to give some insight 1: Jack’s video is not very well put together, but I think it is worth noting that he literally speedrun it as fast as possible when he found out. Me and Jack were told Synni was being sexual with a 14 year old on Sept 13th, late at night. We spent that night in complete shock, on the phone in tears because neither of us knew and neither of us knew what to do afterwards. That’s when he confronted her as well. All of Sept 14th was spent by Jack making a script and video as fast as possible. It released early at 1am pst Sept 15. No it was not well put together but it’s important you understand the video was made in a complete panic 2: The money is not compensation money it is survival money. Not only is he living with Synni, but he would literally be homeless without her. He had literally been living in a homeless shelter for almost a year before she picked him up. Naturally no one wants to live with a child predator but he had no idea where his next meal would come from if he moved out. I was the one who recommended he set up a gofundme in hopes that people who were sympathetic to his situation would pitch in so he has enough money to not worry about eating food. Luckily Synni’s ex-irl friends stepped in to help Jack and are currently helping him get back on his feet. The 10k is completely untouched by him and is being saved to use on rent and groceries until he and his new roommate can get a stable income. The 14 year old does not need the money, and it was offered to go to them as well. 3: there is a third doc as well which I have uploaded detailing how Synni has actually had another minor victim she was extremely explicit with and was in contact with for two years. I’m not currently actively involved in the situation, you could consider me sitting on the sidelines, but I am in direct contact with like - pretty much everyone involved. sometimes i'm like "oh i wasen't groomed bcs i said yes" then remember how i was 16 and she was 19-20 and it started when i was 14 and she was 17-18. I think the definition you used for grooming is not great, as grooming CAN happen to adults as well, it's about the type of bond / power dynamic involved. I was groomed both as a minor and as an adult by two different people so I strongly dislike it when people boil down grooming as just something that can ONLY happen to a minor with an adult. I saw people bring up other issues but I didn't see someone bring up that one so I thought I should say something about it.
