I had a lovely birthday thanks and absolutely love my new hydrangea, I can’t wait until it settles in properly. Those pansies have only just started looking like that recently. They looked really bad for ages then all of a sudden they perked up thankfully. I think your elf/pixie will be so cute. Your brother will be so pleased 🤣I’ve seen a wizard I would love but I might need to wait until Christmas. I am originally from a Perthshire village of Methven, I do miss that area living near Stirling now. I watch a girl called Jes and she had planted something similar that was called Butter Burr(don’t know if that’s how you spell it). I’d love it too but I definitely don’t have the space, I wouldn’t have room for any more plants lol. Thank you so much again for watching 🥰

Thank you so much, I was really pleased with how the pebble pond turned out. I just need to get more shells. I’ve had that wee frog for ages, it used to be on a wee hanger but that part broke so I thought he’d be a great wee addition to the pond 🐸. Aw I feel your pain with the snails. I lost all my zinnia seedlings to them and just had to give up with them this year. It’s so frustrating when you put all the work into them. I am so enjoying this weather although like you it is tough keeping all the plants happy with enough water. I really love that rose , it was a real bargain for £10 at Dobbies last year. The cucumber is getting even bigger now so that’s exciting. Aldi had star jasmine the other day and I had to stop myself. Aw thank you, I can see it getting there now. I couldn’t believe when I knocked the head off it, I had just been looking at it too 🙈. I think I’d have been a lot more sad if I’d broke a 5 stem lily. I get so annoyed if I do things like that especially when we wait so long for them to bloom. I’m hoping the begonias do well there. I forget that my shade is not the same as , say Laura from Garden Answers shade lol. I actually can’t believe the weather we have been getting. I’ve been back to jumpers and jackets some days. Thank you, I have been a bit luckier with the sunflowers this year, I’ve just sown another wee batch so hopefully they’ll be ok too. I was feeling really far behind too, I think I look at other people’s gardens and compare how ahead they are but I try to remember they’re probably in a sunnier place than me. I’m hoping to get out today and tidy away the last of the pots and hopefully get the pebble pond area looking better. I’m also going to the garden centre for a cuppa and cake later so that’s nice, I’m going to try not to buy any plants but I do think I’m lacking in some bedding plants this year 🙈😬. I’m going to watch that video about the snails and slugs, that’ll be interesting. Thank you so much for watching again, especially when you have been busy in your own garden 🥰

@@aboutthegarden Love a visit to a garden centre and having a coffee and cake. My local one does the most delicious fresh cream scones and the recipe is from Paul Hollywood's brother. I can't resist them even though the cost is extortionate. Hope you've been able to get in your garden. It's raining here again but I managed a couple of hours outside this morning. It was so cold so I had to put my fleece on. Neighbours will be thinking it's flaming June woman!

@@wendybartlett6717 I did get to the garden centre and had my usual carrot cake and cappuccino 😋. It was so good, then wandered around for ages and picked up those bright petunias with the white splotches, they’re so pretty. I love a good scone too, you can’t go wrong with those ones from recipe from Paul Hollywood’s brother. I got out for a while but it was quite cold at times too ( I had my jacket on too 🙈). I need to do the tidying up jobs now so I can look at the garden and enjoy instead of worrying about what still needs done 😬🥰

Aw thank you. I seem to have been lucky with the Heucheras for some reason. I’ve always found delphinium quite tricky to not so much germinate but keep them alive when they are small. This is my only success out of goodness knows how many. I really hope the weather does improve as I’m starting to worry about the dahlias getting too wet.
