Hiya, I have had a really busy time at work so I thought I’d come out first thing and take a video to show you how the garden is filling in at this time. I hope you enjoy.
Gosh your garden has really grown. It's amazing what a few days can do. I love your different Heucheras. I had quite a few but they don't like my heavy, clay soil and they've rotted with all the rain that we've had. I'll buy them again and keep them in pots. Were the Delphiniums easy to germinate from seed? That's another plant that I buy every year but the slugs attack them. If I can get them to grow from seed it'll work out cheaper. Weather is meant to improve. Been the worst Spring that I can ever remember. Thanks for the tour.
Aw thank you. I seem to have been lucky with the Heucheras for some reason. I’ve always found delphinium quite tricky to not so much germinate but keep them alive when they are small. This is my only success out of goodness knows how many. I really hope the weather does improve as I’m starting to worry about the dahlias getting too wet. Beautiful! Especially the corner with the Shubertii🤗 Love how everything is so lush and green at this time of year 😍 I’m with you on the seedling overwhelm coz ‘someone’ got a bit overexcited with the seed sowing and now it looks like I’m running a commercial nursery 😆
Haha, I’m actually lol at the commercial nursery 😂. I really love that wee area too. I think I might actually have a Christophii allium. Not bad, 1 out of 10 bulbs 🙃. I’m really needing to get everything in this weekend, once that’s done I’ll be able to just enjoy it hopefully 😊.
