Trying To Rescue My Leggy Seedlings / Interplanting Lily & Gladiolus Bulbs with Alliums

Hiya, in this video I’m attempting to save my leggy sunflower seedlings by burying the stems deeper. I also picked up some bargain lily bulbs and some gladiolus bulbs and thought I’d try a bit of inter planting amongst the allium foliage.

What a beautiful cat!!! There was a massive bengal that used to come to our garden but I haven’t seen him for a few months🥺 Lovely to see you have sunshine and the plants all waking up! The bulbs will look beautiful!😍

He really is one of the most beautiful cats I’ve seen, he has the most beautiful face. I would definitely miss him if he stopped coming round. I think that was our one nice day, it’s been so cold since then. Aw thank you, fingers crossed for all those bulbs and me hopefully remembering they are in there and not dig there and burst them 🙈

A lot of my daffodils failed to flower this year and Monty Don on Gardeners' World said his were the same and puts it down to the weather. I too have found that some of my seedlings have gone leggy so I may try and pot them on and plant them deeper. It's tempting to sow another lot which I may still do.

Aw that does make sense, the weather has been so horrible, cold, wet and dull most of the time. Good news though, so far the seedlings look like they’re recovering and looking more upright 🤞. I have ended up sowing some more just in case. I’ll need to take a picture of how the seedlings look now and post it. Thank you so much for hanging out in my garden 🥰
