  • Hiya in this video I am planting some begonias and little leftover seedlings. I also thought I’d take the opportunity to show you round again since everything has changed so much in the last couple of weeks. I hope you enjoy!

It’s all looking fabulous, I don’t have a lot of luck with begonias but hopefully yours do well. Have a fab week, Ali 🌞🇨🇦

Thank you so much, I can see it all coming together a lot more now so I’m definitely feeling happier about it. I’m hoping my begonias will be ok , the only thing is with being small if they’ll bloom where they are. I forget sometimes that my shade isn’t the same as shade in hot parts of America lol 🙈. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment 🥰

Great video and garden is looking lovely. I was thrilled this weekend to see one of my Glads start to flower. Then I knocked off the head whilst weeding. F*****K! I was so upset!

Thank you so much. Oh no, it’s so annoying when we wait so long on them flowering. I don’t have any flowers on my glass yet. Hopefully soon 🤞

Hi there. I just happened upon your channel today. Great to hear another Scottish voice 😛 You have added lots of great plants into your garden and things are looking great. The Heucheras, Brunnera and Hostas are doing well - mine are too - must be the Scottish air (I'm assuming you are in Scotland!). Anyway I have subscribed and look forward to binge watching your other videos. All the best. Mags

Hi Mags, thank you so much for watching my video. I’ll need to have a wee look at your channel too, it’s always nice to hear another Scottish accent. Hopefully I will pick up tips from you as I am in Scotland too. Yes, all the leafy things are doing great. If I could get the flowers to do the same, that would be great. Thank you so much for subscribing, I’m just heading over to subscribe to you too. 🥰

Ooh! Going to Aldi today so will definitely look at their plants. So many of the more expensive bare roots and bulbs I bought just vanished after planting so hopefully can save a few pennies there😅 Your baby cucumbers are so cute! I’m sure I’ve said it before but I do love seeing how your garden and plants are progressing,so Thank YOU for sharing🙏🏼 If I wasn’t so awkward I’d do it too😅😆

Aw thank you so much. Honestly, I am the most awkward person I know but I just gave it a bash and definitely feel like I’m more like myself now. You should give it a try, I’d love to see your garden. The cucumber is getting even bigger now so that’s exciting. Aldi had star jasmine the other day and I had to stop myself. I’ve been lucky, I think all 3 of my bare root Brunnera are coming up and my 2 Astilbe bare roots too. Thank you so much for watching again and taking the time to leave me a lovely message 🥰

@@aboutthegarden Thank you🥰 Didn’t have time to go in the end, maybe next week! I loooove the smell of Jasmine so I better go and see if there’s any near me🤗 You don’t come across as awkward, you’re doing a great job👏🏼
My landlord has loaned me the garden at his other property coz no one there was using it or looking after it and for an allotment near me the wait is 5 years so it’s a win win for both of us. Wish I’d videoed it from the start in October to now, it has changed a lot. Maybe I could do a before and after with the photos. Hmmm🤔 We will see how brave I am😆. Have a lovely weekend 🌸

@@Crocs4cats aw wow, that’s brilliant having the landlords garden. I think sometimes I’d like an allotment but then my family would really never see me 🤣. You totally should give it a bash, you could do a wee slide show of what you have achieved and then start filming your progress . I’d love a new channel to watch. I meant to ask if you have an instagram? X

@@aboutthegarden I will try! I know what you mean. If I didn’t have to come home and check on my little old lady cat I’d stay there all day!😅 Not had instagram or facebook for a few years now. Maybe I could do instagram again 🤔 I’ll let you know if I do anything!😅 X

Your garden has really taken off since I last saw it. I could feel your pain when you knocked off the Allium's head as I did the same with a Lily's which I'd been waiting for weeks to flower. I decided to move the pot to the front garden and it snapped. I was gutted as it had about five flowers on the one stem. Those Begonias were a good price. I think they're a very underestimated plant. They flower for ages, need little attention and grow anywhere. Yours are going to look perfect in that little corner. I love your pots with the strawberries and Nasturtiums. I'm drawn to anything with a butterfly on! Hope you have a great week as the weather is meant to improve. We had hailstones on Saturday and the garden was white and looked like it had been snowing. Never seen that in what's supposed to be flaming June.

Aw thank you, I can see it getting there now. I couldn’t believe when I knocked the head off it, I had just been looking at it too 🙈. I think I’d have been a lot more sad if I’d broke a 5 stem lily. I get so annoyed if I do things like that especially when we wait so long for them to bloom. I’m hoping the begonias do well there. I forget that my shade is not the same as , say Laura from Garden Answers shade lol. I actually can’t believe the weather we have been getting. I’ve been back to jumpers and jackets some days. I’m just desperate for some real sunshine and so are the plants I think. Thanks again for taking the time to watch and leave a lovely comment. I really enjoy reading them 🥰

It definitely is. Haha, they probably aren’t the best shoes to garden in but they’re SOO comfy 😬. Thanks again for watching and leaving a comment 😬
