Early June Garden Tour / My Garden In June/

I'm lying on the sofa after spending 12 hours in the garden. What do I do, watch you gardening on youtube! I'm supposed to be relaxing. You've got a lot of plants. I like the yellow ones (I can't spell their name) and the clematis. Happy gardening😊

Aw well done on being out in the garden so long. I do exactly the same thing, I just love watching other people garden too. Thank you, I think that might be the Rudbeckia plant. Your sunflowers are doing well. So many of mine got eaten by the slugs so I had to sow another batch which has made them fall behind this year. Normally I've planted them in the ground by now. Your yellow lilies are gorgeous. Mine aren't in flower yet but have their buds. I've been in my garden all day today and I've still got loads to do. I seem to be so far behind this year because of the awful weather. I follow a channel "Paul T's World" and he did a video of slugs and snails at night. No wonder so many of our plants get decimated. Your garden is looking lovely and everything is growing away nicely.

Thank you, I have been a bit luckier with the sunflowers this year, I’ve just sown another wee batch so hopefully they’ll be ok too. I was feeling really far behind too, I think I look at other people’s gardens and compare how ahead they are but I try to remember they’re probably in a sunnier place than me. I’m hoping to get out today and tidy away the last of the pots and hopefully get the pebble pond area looking better. I’m also going to the garden centre for a cuppa and cake later so that’s nice, I’m going to try not to buy any plants but I do think I’m lacking in some bedding plants this year 🙈😬. I’m going to watch that video about the snails and slugs, that’ll be interesting. Thank you so much for watching again, especially when you have been busy in your own garden 🥰

@@aboutthegarden Love a visit to a garden centre and having a coffee and cake. My local one does the most delicious fresh cream scones and the recipe is from Paul Hollywood's brother. I can't resist them even though the cost is extortionate. Hope you've been able to get in your garden. It's raining here again but I managed a couple of hours outside this morning. It was so cold so I had to put my fleece on. Neighbours will be thinking it's flaming June woman!

@@wendybartlett6717 I did get to the garden centre and had my usual carrot cake and cappuccino 😋. It was so good, then wandered around for ages and picked up those bright petunias with the white splotches, they’re so pretty. I love a good scone too, you can’t go wrong with those ones from recipe from Paul Hollywood’s brother. I got out for a while but it was quite cold at times too ( I had my jacket on too 🙈). I need to do the tidying up jobs now so I can look at the garden and enjoy instead of worrying about what still needs done 😬🥰
