Taking Hydrangea Cuttings In September | Propagating Plant Cuttings | Free Plants

Come along while I take some cuttings from my Annabelle hydrangea. I just love this plant and would love some more around my garden so I really hope that these propagate.

That looks like an arborescence type hydrangea. Those are really easy to propagate as hardwood cuttings. You won’t actually need any of the things you have. No humidity or rooting powder. You just cut it in winter when it’s a sleep and just push the cutting into a pot. Leave it in the shade and keep it watered when spring comes. Works every time
