    On paper seems like a good tool, but when you disassemble it you realize that it is not very good made. It is build for not too demanding work. The shaft mechanism inside is not in a closed cell but is wide open and there is a very flimsy light sealing preveding dust to get in and clogg the device.The only seal is a thin o-ring made of felt. Especially when cutting masonry, the tool is very likely to fill up with dust. Needs some light modifications from the user to seal it completely. And the biggest disappointment is the fake orbital function switch. You flip it and the cutting continues to be linear, flip it twice, again linear action. It is not a real functional switch unfortunately.

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You are right there. I mean the orbital action looks like it does something in my case but nothing to be excited about and I felt no real difference with the branches I was cutting. Also the branches were rather big so I would have hoped to have seen a difference there but no. So to that I would say at least in my case it was more of a gimmick. As for the dust getting in the tool I felt it no worse than the cordless sabre saw that I have. That said my cordless sabre saw is not very good at dust prevention either, but this one is no worse than what I am used to with Parkside. It is not a bad tool if it is used within DIY limits. for 50-60 euros I find it to be satisfactory, because it will get the job done and it has a lot of power. Have you tried the carbide blades?

    • @user-du6op6qx5s
      @user-du6op6qx5s 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @BrokeLifeEU you are right. If you consider the price, than yeah, but unfortunately, the corded performance series is advertised as pro level tool. Specially the angle grinder which was rather expensive, and has some professional tech on it. It has a magnetic ring that provides loading data and a relay that keeps the rpm constant. This sabre saw should have been the green line tool. Anyway I modded mine and added two additional sealing layers. It should have less chance of glogging. The orbital action can be amplified with a more aggressive shaft. But not too much because it will lock completely the reciprocating action. Also I have tried the carbide blade, it is good but it doesn't last long. The best blades I've used are makita.

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Did they really market them as professional tools? That is way above what they are good for! Also I knew Makita blades were good but I still surprised myself with how good they actually are. I managed to get them from a local store where they were on sale and each Makita blade cost me no more than 1 EUR. For that price I should have bought the entire box of them. I really like the feel of the Makita Progressive blade, looks like a very good blade for wide use.

    • @user-du6op6qx5s
      @user-du6op6qx5s 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @BrokeLifeEU the angle grinder sure is advertised as such in the booklet. For demanding work in your workshop or in your house. That is what's written in the booklet. I bought a whole box of makitas blades. Set for long time.

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That is what I will be doing. I prefer to replace a blade more frequently than to spend x4-5 times as much on a single blade. The regular Makita blades are like 2 Euros each. The carbide Parkside is anywhere from 10 to 15 depending on what mood Lidl financial people are.

    • @memutu
      @memutu 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I would agree with that, not worth the money, regular makita blades are good enough, also I didn't put mine to the test, I have some Irwin ones that won't give up :-)

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, I used the Parkside metal carbide say about 10 times in total and am starting to see some wear on the teeth. The makita blades I bough from a store where they were on sale. Less than 1 EUR per blade. I am very impressed with these regular Makita blades. The progressive metal Makita blade I think is my favourite, because I feel it can be used for a wide range of metals and will always feel and perform pretty much the same.

      @andrewhague4123 Unfortunately my sample size is not big enough in order to be able to give a comprehensive answer. However from Ferrex I have two impact drivers, hammer drill and angle grinder. The only tool I am not a fan of is the grinder. I find it too weak and not well built. In terms of the other tools I have they were cheapter than the Parkside equivallents, however are much more difficult to find. So has Aldi invested more in to Ferrex and if the tools were easier to find I can say they would be a good competition against Parkside. However the fact that Parkside have many more offerings and the tools and batteries are currently easier to find I will have to go with Parkside on this one. That being said there may be a Ferrex tool that is so good that it tips the scales the other way.

You're trying to extract and usually you hit it with a hammer so it digs in. But your example was plenty good enough to show its use. I'd be interested to know if you got rid of the app because of the. because of the quality of the tools or because of the pop ups they blast at you. Because if it's the pop ups, you can switch those off. But you need to go into a computer to do it. I have no trouble with the ads annoyingly. Whereas I do know people that do. I have bought a lot of stuff. from Team U. from house cleaning products. to tools. and I accept some of its absolute trash. But a lot of it's very well made. One thing I've noticed in recent weeks is they're starting to sell bigger products of. first they were really only tiny things that would go in one parcel together. You know there's more power tools appearing. even tool boxes on wheels.

      @BrokeLifeEU 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you for the hint! I can confirm I did not know this about the extrctors, however you are also correct on the lack of any instructions front. So I just winged it 😅 As for the app, the ads were a disgusting amount. The 24/7 spamming with emails I also had enough of fairly quickly. And then it is the fact that I felt I could have spent a lot more on the thing had I not deleted it. So for now I would rather save up some money 😅! Thank you for your time! I hope you enjoyed the video! I am struggling to find other tools pn Temu for a decent price however, what tools did you get and are they still available?

      And also on the sponsorship front I am still shocked that a channel with about 2K subs can not go a day without getting an email regarding sponsored content. They all want to send me an item for a review, but want me to guarantee a positive review. Sorry but that will not happen. I agreed to this collaboration with Wuben, because I researched the product and the company. I came across overwhelmingly positive comments about it. Then I asked for freedom of the review and they said I can say whatever I want. No guarantee of a positive review was needed. Anything I did not like I could voice. Hence this is the only sponsored content you can see on this channel. If the other companies agree to these terms I am fine with reviewing their items/tools. But only if I can state the truth. I don't want to be doing dishonest reviews!

    Yes, it is shocking! I did not expect something from TEMU to perform so much better than Parkside! And the JAVN ratchet is now 40 euros no discount, no coupon on TEMU. I think it is a fair price when it is better than the Parkside.

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      €40 for that ratchet is not bad to be fair. I would still go with the Parkside just because I have loads of 12V parkside batteries and they are not bad at all. Also the Parkside has a warranty, whereas the Temu warranty I do not trust. But €40 is really not bad at all! Just bought a Javn ratchet 3 weeks ago for 10 euro just for testing agains the Parkside, like you did😂 One downside it that the USB charging cable outputs 13.4V. So you either use that one and hope you never lose it, or use a 13v power supply or charger. Another downside it that I did not manage to find a spare battery to buy. I modified the Javn ratchet to work on Parkside batteries, since the shape of the batteries is identical. I cut a groove on Javn ratchet so I do not modify all my batteries and also grinded a little bit out of the back of the tool. I also changed the polarity on the tool pins. But because the electronic is extremly simple, it works without this but in reverse😂 Loved the video tho👍

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not a bad idea at all! I may do it to this one just so I have a spare one. I never thought cordless ratchets were so useful until I got one. Now I can't live without a cordless ratchet nearby. I did not think about the USB charger at all but after you pointed it out that makes sense too! I hope I will not lose it... The one fairly big negative with the JAVN ratchet even for the special discount price is the lack of a variable speed trigger. I find that annoying. Did you get used to it or was it never a problem for you?
