This was my first Parkside tool (I got it four years ago) and it is probably the one I used the most. This drill has seen hundreds of holes drilled into concrete and it still works. Also I think the fact that you can get an SDS compatible hammer drill for this price is incredible.
I can believe that! This not very powerful, nor is it vey fast. However I do think it is borderline bulletproof in terms of reliability. Not many people have told me they have had this and it went wrong, most say the same as you. And I also think for some small stuff around the house is is more than sufficient. This is one of the few Parkside green tools that I can actually buy and not feel bad about.
Like I said before, it 's decent enough and very good in a tight situation. Advise: When you drill in concrete/stone, don' t push the tool in, you reduce the travel of the bit, we will fiind that using just a little pressure it works a lot better! Cheers!
Greetings! I hope you are doing well and enjoying the content here! Thank you for suggesting this test! It is a good tool for home use. Did you see in Germany it will be for 20EUR on sale. For that price may as well have for each hand 😂 Feel free to let me know what other tools you would like to see!
Did surprisingly well considering the price point! Nice homeowner's picture-hanger or leave-it-in-the van backup. The grip angle looks janky but I guess this thing typically would get used at chest height or above so not a big issue?
Ergonomics are not the best as always. But I was pleasantly surprised with the power. It will get most jobs at home done. It will be on sale for 20EUR in Germany. For that price it is the deal of the Parkside year if you ask me.
Thank you! I did change the title! It was for sure on sale for €19.99 you can see a screenshot of the German Lidl broschure on my community page. Also I did see the C3 version of this on the Lidl.de website on 29.01 but it is no longer there. So they must have sold out. No surprise really at that price.
As someone who got the Exact C3 performance hammerdrill for 63€ in regular price , i think that this would be good priced at 30-40€, for 50 you add the 10€ and get a lot better tool.
Yes, when they brought out the D4 version, they had it on sale for 15€ and it was an AMAZING deal at that price. Now that they have slowly increased the price to that and it is close to the Performance line, it is anything but a good deal.
@@BrokeLifeEUfor 15€ its amazing! There is less difference in hammer drilling than i thought. Have you taken your C3 apart? Is the mechanism the same? I don't get the recent price hikes of the green tools tho. The 12V brushed hammer drill went for 40€ while the performance went for 50€.
I have not taken them apart, however I can't imagine there is too much difference between them apart from one having a brushless motor and two speeds and the other having a brushed motor. And yes for 15€ it was an AMAZING deal.
That's not the usual brickwork or concrete you will find in homes. All in all not bad for the price. Such reddish stone reminds me what I found here in the ground. It eats drill bits
It absolutely does. I thought I would do something different than the standard concrete and brick drilling. I think even for the regular price of 40-50EUR it is a good hammer drill. For the 20EUR it will be available for in Germany for a limited time it is an absolute steal. Even just to have it lying around if you ever need it.
I got one of that for 25 euro, i'm waiting to see what can do I also ordered a drill 20v PABS for only 16 euro, that's insane, both of them without the baterry and charger
@@BrokeLifeEU Yes, I made some holes into my wall, and did a very good job, in like 10 seconds maxim I made 1 hole with the 6mm drill bit. After, I screwed the screw with absolutely no struggle with the 45 nm drill. I think I got a great deal because here to install a courtain costs 45 euro just for one
@@cipriangherghel2779 Labour prices are the reason why I started buying tools and doing my own work. I would love to sit back and relax while someone else does it, but I can't reasonably afford that. It is light, cheap and can still get a decent amount of work done. For the price I think it is quite decent. The Makita fakes from Aliexpress are at around that price and are about 10 times worse.
At £35 it is a very good buy! Not as powerful as the Performance version, however quite a lot lighter. Nice to have for sure! Can I ask what else you have in the Parkside collection?
@@BrokeLifeEU I grabbed one today ! I also bought the cordless multi purpose tool and a dual charger which i'm very happy with. I also own the corded SDS drill and "plunge" circular saw and jigsaw. @@weetecguy97 Unfortunately not. I don‘t do too much with wood or such but this channel might make me get in to that. Hence my new jigsaw and wood router 😅
😂 That is a good way to look at it. Truth be told the regular non Performance Parkside tools don't really get quality bits or accessories. It is only the Performance series that get the good stuff. It's in the name I know but still the difference is huge in some cases.
do you realise that you are comparing 2 different kind of tools don't you ? ( set aside the fact that one is performance and the other is not ) one is a demolishing drill in fact it has 3 settings , drill , percussion , percussion +drill and the other is a hammer drill
I am aware of that yes. The idea is not to directly compare both tools, but rather to give an idea on what to expect from each one. If you would be ok with the smaller and cheaper one or if you should go directly for the Performance line.

They don't have it for 20 euros on the website, nor in the brochure. Currently they have the PBHA 12 A1 listed for 35 euros.
At the time of the video release they did have it. Lidl.de 29/01/2024 online it was the C3, but in stores it was the D4
