Bought a Wilwood adjustable prop valve after the 4040 I got from the junkyard was bad after a couple of days in the car. Would you advise putting it inside the car or under the hood?

If tht happens to me I would be crying I would be having tunnel vision seeing them passing by but the part wen ur car stops going it reminds me the movie cars3 wen McQueen was racing n tht black car passed him n he started slowing down and the others cars start going by.
