Whoops, my parts car is too nice, gotta get a parts car for my parts car Also, can we take a moment to appreciate the incredibly specific bolt organization
Haha dude. It's a problem, both with collecting sedans and my bolt obsession! I'll post some videos about my garage layout eventually and share the setup
Bro, I’m so glad someone reputable, legit, and having tremendous love for Honda, or a potential masterpiece, specially this chassis in particular, is taking the time to modify it. It really puts a big smile on my face, I wish I had been there to lend a helpful hand, because your passion hits close to home, I proudly own a similar chassis that I started to slowly modify years ago. I went against the current, if you catch my drift, when everyone didn’t believed or even liked, the car that now sits in my garage. And you know what’s crazy? I also collect bolts, screws, washers etc, and would have clean the bay, even though it was going to be destined to be some amazing work. God bless bro, keep your passion going!
@@EricKutilRacing You’re doing awesome bro keep going! I think the light blue greenish tone color is a great idea, might just keep that color for a future project myself, if it’s ok? Well I would most definitely will be following your progress. & lastly, I hope one day I get to meet you and the unique chassis on this project.
Yeah definitely! Honestly, it's not much but slightly taller tubs wouldn't hurt. The seating position as well, just have more options to potentially save money
@EricKutilRacing V.1 is definitely unique, but simplicity is always key. Sucks when you have one-off things and the possibility of destroying them are high.
that is one clean engine bay! definitely agree with reworking the cage to do OE pedals. looking at the space in the racecar should be feasible to do the Gr. A R32-esque placements for the strut tower -> cage braces. if you need another driver for enduros, WTB seat. ;)
Haha yeah. There are a ton of ways to do the cage to the shock towers and retain the oem master setup. It will be a fun challenge, looking forward to it!
What about doing the same wrap, but re-spraying the engine bay and cage that oe blue? Also I'm so jealous of that bolt collection and garage space. Im definitely a little OCD about collecting and oranizing hardware, but your attention to detail in general is awesome and motivating. A garage tour would be a great video!
Thanks buddy! Yeah that's exactly what I meant with the re-spray. Paint the interiors/cage/engine bay in that blue and then rock the hybrid livery. Regarding the garage, I spent a ton of time recently reorganizing the garage! I'll post up some videos soon!
Worth doing twin masters w/ balance bar on the oem pedal? Would give packaging and bias adjustment benefits but guess it depends on brake setup if its better for your application than Honed. Would need to weld a plate on the fire wall then modify the pedal assembly to accept the balance bar, but on the engine side its fairly compact. My car has it, happy to share pictures if needed
I understand your point but the two options are ideal in my head. Either transfer the whole pedal box system over (if chassis #1 is out of commission) or keep it as oem (with booster delete) as possible if i wanted to have both cars raceable.
@@EricKutilRacing Guess thatd be one of the few negative sides if you decide to stick with the oe spot. I definitly agree with sticking with the oe blue for color. Maybe put a small spin on it or even a fresh coat of the same color would look great
stupid clean honda's are rare anymore, and it's the reason I'm building another damn Honda. Just finished respraying the engine bay in prep for a future Kswap. But it's looking like it's going to be a LONG process since I don't have the money right now just to throw at it.
Yes keep that color
It's a sick color for sure!

Thanks for documenting this new build. Love these long form racecar builds!
Thanks man, glad you appreciate them! This will definitely be long form because the build will take a while. No need to rush here.
i can see you building a Accord JTCC in the future :P
Lol, definitely
Cool 🫡
That bolt organization is inspirational 😂 making me want to organize my garage
So much time spent and it's not even complete yet lol. But so worth it

@@EricKutilRacing Awesome, well if you and your crew are ever in the, not so golden state anymore(CA) let me know, I will try my best to attend
Rip and Tear, until it is done. 🤘
nice looking forward to the rest of the build
that bay cleaned up real good
Yessir loving the content brother no rust no hesitation 🤙🏽
Phenomenal, im looking forward to the rest of the build🙏
definitely repaint it the same color it came oem! would look sick.
This is awesome, Eric!
At least whatever extra you thought of doing to the first one can get updated on this one.

ah yes the cherry picker - a device for testing the maximum tensile strength of everything you forgot to disconnect

I would love to see a midori green eg build!

Hold up we can't just gloss over that magnificent OEM nut and bot collection you've got going on 😂
Haha its the best!
Love your builds! No D series jgtc build??? Hahha lol
Haha d series turbo could be possible ha
I don’t know why my eg LX came with power everything but no AC. 😕 but I see every other eg8 and it has AC.
Hmm, that's interesting. Wonder if it was an option back in the day.
Does having the pedal box setup in the current car make a big difference towards the center of gravity?
Yeah absolutely, mainly because my seat is moved back about a foot. It definitely helps move the weight backwards

Yeah man, I agree! I just want to start hoarding all the clean shells ha. I have a problem lol
@@EricKutilRacing after my last crazy let's upgrade everything for a street car build, I thought it'd get it out of my system. I was wrong. Lol
Do you run power steering in your races? Same rack?
Yeah. Dc2 power steering rack with volvo electric to hydro pump
You need to put a k series in this would rip them
Definitely k24. No doubt about that
