The "maiden" voyage. Yes sir. What a sweet idea And we eazily forget the size of this beast. It is truly yuge 🇺🇸
Hey Wally, the thing barely fits through the shop door, which reminds me that i will only be able to do the 1/5th scale for a few more years as i sail into 60 years old. Thanks for checking it out Wally
@RCWalletVacuum need a rc jockey to carry your rc,s around . 😁😎
❤nice test bro. Making your own unique rc is the best. I can see many many uses for such this thing. Like a snowblower attachment haha 😂 awesome build.
Hey Wally, i was thinking gun mount attachment, lol. Thanks for checking it out buddy
🎉 hell yeah Brian everything’s totally bad ass. I can’t wait to see that thing when you get it. 100% looks sick right now. Definitely don’t see anything like that. Great job.
Hey Big John, it is unique if nothing else, lol. Thanks for checking it out brother
@ it’s badd ass brother!! Definitely 💯
@@JOHND_RC Thanks BigJohn!
Totally Awesome 🤙💯
Thanks Bluesmoke
@@RCWalletVacuum your welcome brother
wow, big difference. Very good progress. The esc might be working hard, the comment on esc setting is spot on. With the diff’s locked center with 1 mill at least with those high trolling resistance tracks should be A good medium for traction and turning. Great job
Hey Alterd, the biggest issue has been that this is my first time with the esc's and i had no idea what the fuck i'm doing with them. On the plus side i'm figuring it out. Thanks for checking it out buddy
@ electric is fun and very programmable. Have you used the Bluetooth to see the data logs? You’ll see heat and load etc… let me know what you need. Happy to walk you thru any issues or upgrades
@@alterdcustomrc4512 Thanks Alterd. I have not tried the bluetooth yet, mostly because i don't own a smartphone and my pc does not have bluetooth(yep, i'm a dinosaur, lol). Have you ever tried running a sensored motor with the sensor cable unhooked?
@@RCWalletVacuum it will cog if you do. Don’t worry, you will live a lot longer without the wireless tech..all the rads and stuff. hobbywing makes a usb link as well. Plugs into your pc. Well worth it!
@@alterdcustomrc4512 Thanks for the info Alterd
Maaan. Once you get it all figured out. It is gonna be amazing. It gets frustrating. I know. But the end result is gonna be epic!!
What's up G-man, I once heard that a helicopter needs 8 hrs maintenance for every hour of flight time...i think RC's are more like 20 hrs maint for 20 minutes of run time, lol. Thanks for checking it out buddy
Awesome man definitely looks like it’s clogging, maybe go in to the ESC settings and look at punch setting and timing , The only thing that drives me crazy with tracks is the anti roll over shock.. it needs to be better on the tracks.. but that’s a great build man👍
Hey PaintenDave, yeah this is my first venture into the electrics and ESC programming. Right now i'm doing the ESC programming equivalent of throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks, lol. I have the punch set full on and was starting, during that video, to tweak the timing, but i'm not sure what it even does. This is a sensored motor and i was wondering if unhooking the sensors might fix some of that shuttering on startup. It seems like if you ease into the throttle then go full throttle it works much better, not sure why yet. Thanks for checking it out and for the programming tips
@ this the Max 5 G-2 correct? Is so bad I find the Max 5 G-2 struggles on heavier RC,s especially on 12s , I switched to a max 4 and it was night day difference compared to the Max 5/ the Max 5 is decent on lighter RC,s , that’s just my experience. Ok man hope you get it figured out👍
@@paintendaveextremecollisio8057 it is the max 5. Thanks for the info
Love when it almost passes the snowmobile 😂 Also very cool the way others stopped by to chat an check it out. No doubt you’ll work out the bugs RC. ! Really awesome 😎
The whole thing kind of reminded me of that Dirty Harry movie when Inspector Callahan was getting chased through San Francisco by the rc car loaded with explosives. Of course this one was minus the explosives...this time, lol. Thanks for checking it out my friend and happy welding
@ That actually was my thoughts watching it 🤣😆
Heck yeah Brian! It’s definitely coming together! Of course there’s going to be bugs to work out but you’re definitely making progress. 12s really woke it up, I think it’s the perfect speed really, a very scale speed it seems. Thanks again for taking us along with this Brian creation!
Hey Todd, the whole plan has been to test the tracked platform for its feasibility to do more expansive projects and it seems like it has real potential for some crazy projects. Thanks for checking it out brother
Good job, goes well, so when are you going to mount the RPG's on the roof for the front line defence 🤔
I love the way you think Robert! A remotely sighted and fired pistol mount could be in the works but there will be no video of that. Thanks for checking it out my friend
Wow! That thing flys. I would have never thought a tracked RC could jam like that. Awesome job on the build. You dont have to worry about hurting the body on a roll over. Built tough! 🫶👏👏
Its given me a lot of trouble building but its starting to come together and is quite fun to run.
@@RCWalletVacuum It's running perfect. 👍👍
Yes sir 12s is the way to go 💥💥💥💪🏻👍🏼
Hey Kong, yeah i was quite happy once i hit the throttle and it came to life. Now i might try another build with a big bore Taylor in it. Thanks for checking it out Kong
Now she's a ripper ! If you're breaking parts, you know you're getting close 😆👍👌
Hey Addict, it actually is a lot of fun but its been finicky getting it going. Thanks for checking it out brother
Your doing great and what a Beast, Snow Rat is one of a kind for sure. 12s sure woke it up.
Thanks Woods. I was pleasantly surprised when i first hit the throttle on the 12s. Thanks for checking it out my friend
@RCWalletVacuum a couple more tweaks and you will have that beast dialed in
Getting there 👍🏻😃
The snow will probably melt by the time i get it dialed in, lol. Thanks for watching buddy
The Snow Cat is born
Wow. Just wow.
What's up Nitro, now if only that snow came around when its 70 degrees instead of 2 degrees. Thanks for checking it out buddy
@RCWalletVacuum your builds are awesome 👌
@@Nitro_rc_life Thanks Nitro
No problem with the snow
The cold sucks though, lol. Thanks for checking it out Adam
Finally it's alive it seems to run very well but I'm still curious about the 12s 👍🏼👌💪🏻💥💥💥✅️
What's up Kong, the 12S (22volt) should boost the speed of the motor and pick up the pace a little. At least i don't have to worry about a "runaway" with it right now, lol. Thanks for checking it out buddy
and btw the 22 volts is per each 6s battery, which there will be 2 in series for about 45 volts total
That Cat track is so awesome!! Very impressive build RC ! Well done sir ! 🙌
Thanks brother! That Everlast does great aluminum welding. How is your setup going?
@ Been in a holding pattern lately. But looking forward to use it soon. 😊
That snowcat is every bit of awesome ! Nothing like the satisfaction of custom building something yourself , job well done ! 👍👌
Thanks Addict, it stills need a lot of work and improvements but at least it rolls through the snow. Thanks for checking it out Addict
Great frost drive, no breakage👍. Is the center diff locked? Should help on the climbing of snow piles
Hey Alterd, no not yet but it will be. I need some more ESC changes as well. It currently has some real light fluid in the front and rear diffs so i can see how they work in the cold weather before bumping it up. Thanks for checking it out buddy
Can't be stopped!! Awesome rc!!
I do miss the sound of the loud 2 stroke. Thanks for checking it out Joe
Nice man
Thanks PaintenDave. No need to put away the rc's because its snowing. Thanks for checking it out
Awesome run in the snow. Now you need a sled to pull behind and carry stuff. I can only imagine what it looks like in person. Great job Brian 🏆👏
Thanks RC. The next addition is probably going to be a home brew winch and tow arch with voice control. I do like that sled idea. Thanks for checking it out RC
@@RCWalletVacuum That sounds really cool. Maybe some lights as well. I keep thinking it would be nice to have a 2 way radio system in a car. Your voice control stuff is beyond my knowledge level but if you got some cheap walkie talkies and servo to control the push to talk you might be able to give voice commands from far away. You probably could build a circuit for that or a voice activated relay. Just some crazy ideas to keep you busy. We all love your builds.

@ Oh its going to get lights for sure. I'm going to fabricate some aluminum light bars and add Neopixels which are RGB LEDS with their own driver chip that you send digital commands to change colors. Going full nerd on this one, lol.
@@RCWalletVacuum That is so nice. I always learn from your videos. Addressible LED strips would be nice. I think a big bright flood light would be cool. So much stuff you can do.Your snowcat reminds me of Lost in Space for some odd reason. I really like it bunches. 👍

Thanks BlueSmoke!
Awesome build.👍
Thanks for checking it out Woods!

Hey Wade, thanks for checking it out
Very nice...
Thanks Bluegroove. Its ready to hit the snow, i'm just missing the ESC programmer. Thanks for checking it out
Frigen awesome, bro. I assume 8s is plenty of power for that beast. Im way behind the ball lately. But i am chugging along. Love this build. What a great platform to build off. So many peoples are familiar with the losi 5t platform.. im sure you will inspire others. 😎👍
I'm hoping to test run it this weekend. Thanks for checking it out buddy
@RCWalletVacuum that will be real cool to see. I have plans i want to.do with rc. But it all has to.wait.
Pussy cat. 😂 love it bro . Sry I'm very late to this video. I do enjoy your vids a ton. Keep up the great work. ❤
Hey Wally, good to hear from you. I hope things have improved for you lately. Just a few more days and a 4 year nightmare will be over
@RCWalletVacuum sorta. But not better. My gf mother,s house is for sale. We will use what little we get to relocate to a new area. I told my boss I will never work for him again.
