Your track is coming along nicely. You need a big area like this to really rip around. The big berm is super. Your Kraken is so nicely modified. NASA approved. Great job!
Thanks RC, a tractor with a bucket sure come in handy for that kind of work. If i had to shovel all that dirt there would be no berms and no jumps, lol. Thanks for checking it out RC
@@RCWalletVacuum I would think that the awesome tracked vehicle could carve out the terrain is a short minute just by running it around and digging up the dirt. You should do a video on it as it's totally cool looking.
@@RCWalletVacuum It's a thing of beauty. Many years of pleasure and repairs. I would definitely love to have one some day but you really need a big open space to play.
Hey Ben, once the rpm calculation issue is fixed i'm going to make the rpm display on the LCD like the old analog dials. Reading numbers is very difficult. Thanks for checking it out Ben
Such a cool truck. Reminds me of a dirt bike engine on there. Lol Your tech is way over my head bro. I enjoy your out of the box creativity. Love to see what you can do when you have tools to work with. Was wondering what kind of rpm numbers should you be seeing? 😅 Oh the weather. Yes. I'm obsessed with making an rc tracked vehicle aswell. But the tools I have are limited. I like the idea of a rubber track. Think it would spool up faster then a heavy track like on your truck. But just theory. Plus I can't afford a set of tracks of any kind. So being creative is a must. Or just keep dreaming. Lol best you can find is that tracked tamia sno cat thing. Not paying for something so brittle and slow. Just my half cent input. Lol .
Hey Wally, the RPM's should go up to around 16,000 with that pipe. I was seeing upwards of 15,000 but the numbers just seem erratic. Once that is corrected the RPM's will display on the LCD like an old style analog needle dial. I've been bouncing the snocat idea around for awhile, tested the tracks out on the Rovan chassis but there are issues with adding to that existing chassis so a purpose designed chassis seems the way to go. Thanks for checking it out Wally
man that 50 is running great brother! I cannot wait for the snowcat project man! I will be following that very closely (like I do with all of your projects!) Good to see you Brian, its been a minute!
Hey Todd, hows things going for you? If the weather holds out for this weekend i'm hoping to go up and start changing the carb settings and compare temperatures. Thanks for checking it out and its always great to hear from you
Riding that throttle smoothly off those jumps is nice to watch lol personally i always get caught of guard on the first jump of the day myself lol. That was some nice driving. Can’t wait to see you smooth out the digi data display. Hope we have some more dirt driving weather ahead still. 🖖⚡️⚡️ Good energy brother!! (switching gears and focusing on another build should help not get burnt out focusing on the detail work your doing who knows maybe you’ll make an indoor dyno or something to continue development on that truck until winter is over not sure if that would work though sense you probably want some engine load or something idk)
Thanks Ghostworks, and indeed one of the projects that the SCADA will morph into is a dyno. The problem is i have such a limited time to spend on these projects so it takes forever. Thanks for checking it out
Very cool, is there a limit on the data set for rpms. 14900 is the max I see but it sounds higher….i was typing this when the “rpms seem sketchy “flashed haha freaking cool man
Hey Alterd, well according to Mike Taylor that engine and pipe combo should go to around 16,000. The software needs to be tweaked to improve accuracy and filtered to stabilize the RPM readings. It is filtering the temperature readings and they are way more stable. The RPM's will eventually be displayed on screen like the old style analog dial. Following numbers is way to much of a pain. A lot of work left on it. Thanks for checking it out buddy
hats off to you for this R&D and testing on this project and your future project super cool
Thanks brother! Thanks for checking it out
1/5 snowcat, that would be cool! 👍 You can then use it to plow road and yard out of snow 😁
Anything that keeps me from shoveling that snow is a good thing, lol. Thanks for checking it out Jukka

@@RCRoads Well i have the aluminum for the chassis on its way and the 5ive T electric conversion kit ordered, then comes all the work

Nice test run, looks like the temp sensors are working great, I’m with you on the RPM it seems to bounce all over 👍🏼🤙🏼

@RCWalletVacuum sounds like a well thought project. Plus, fun. Yeah there's that. . Lol
Awesome show brother , was watching the rpm, was peaking out at about 1500, which sounds about right to me . The snowcat project sounds cool .👍
What's up Addict, i'm going to bring that snocat out and run that awesome powerline you frequent, lol. Thanks for checking it out buddy
Good work🎉
Thanks Robert. I still have a lot of work ahead of me with it. Thanks for checking it out
@RCWalletVacuum yes you do👍
