- In this video i give an inaugural run to Franktrac on a snow covered slippery hill. Even though the OBR 47cc is currently over geared it screams up out of the ravine. The tracks prove worthy of future upcoming builds on custom chassis vehicles
That blasted up the hill effortlessly, awesome video.
Thanks Woods! I did some gearing changes on it and am hoping to do a video this weekend to test the changes. Thanks for checking it out
That was cool!! Definitely handled the tracks amazingly! Had extreme easibility
Hey Kyle, i was quite impressed with its maiden voyage, especially after last years test with the stock Rovan engine and clutch that ended in a miserable failure. Definitely going to try and expand on the track setups. Looks like you may get your wish for snow this weekend
Cool build and thanks for sharing! Love the roost coming off those tracks.
Thanks Sean, another superb OBR racing engine. The clutch is a huge factor here since the load from the tracks is pretty big. Thanks for checking it out
Thanks for taking the effort to put that together. Very nice! Like you can get to the hill with your eyes closed. Truck sound freaking great. A lot of power to pull it up the hill like that. Funny but we got got snow in Pa as well….just enough to have fun. Man I’m actually dealing with the Farm service agency right now…not nice over here but soon i’ll be going gas and I’ll have a place to make noise. #motivation.
Hey Alterd, well you always have an open invitation to head over to wny to make some noise. Thanks for checking it out
@@RCWalletVacuum i will work on getting over to you!
I really enjoyed the ride to the hill climb site. Good thing you survived the ride on your ATV and that slippery hill. My eyes were glued to the screen on this video. GREAT WORK!
Thanks RC. There are plans in the works for a lot more tracked vehicles in the snow videos. Thanks for checking it out buddy.
@@RCWalletVacuum The Frankentrac is the perfect setup. You need to set up FPV to see your way through the trees. Have you done any range test with your radio?
@@RCRoads I have thought of the FPV but from my experience with night vision goggles i'm guessing it won't go well, but i may try anyhow.
That setup is killer , always thought about the obr 47 never pulled the trigger on it . 💥💥👊
The 47cc case reed is an excellent engine. I just need to gear it down a bit. I thought the tracks might do that but i guess not. Thanks for checking it out.
Wow Brian! That thing is an animal! Didn't miss a beat. Super cool. Wow, the custom snowmobile with a twin is exciting man! I cannot wait to tag along for that build! Have a great week!
Hey Todd, after last years dismal results with the Rovan engine and clutch with these tracks i now am optimistic that bigger snow projects can be done. Thanks for checking it out buddy
That car is so cool! 💪👍 You've also got some snow there. It seem that luckily it is not very cold there 🙂
Thanks Jukka, i think the arctic air is coming in this weekend. Thanks for checking it out
Wow that's awesome it didn't miss a beat climbed that hill no problem that's my first time seeing the snow mobile conversion very cool 😎 👍 👌💪💥💥💥
Hey Kong, its been awhile, good to hear from you. Frankentrac is a little tall in the gearing and i'm hoping to do a video soon of the machining involved on the center diff to fit a losi 5t 62 spur gear. I can't find a smaller pinion to fit the OBR, so that is my planned route. Thanks for checking it out
@RCWalletVacuum I been looking out for videos I know it's winter so not much bashing going on. That's why I've been using my time for repairs and a few new builds coming soon stay tuned 😁 🤗✅️
I think it’s crazy. Didn’t have any problem, climbing that hill with all that snow and dirt very cool build
Thanks buddy! I wish i would have had better luck walking down the hill, i'm still sore from that wipe out. Thanks for checking it out.
@@RCWalletVacuum yeah that hill would have whipped my Ass too lol
Right On 👍
Thanks for checking it out and i hope to get back up there and try it in more snow
Went up like butter Sweet
Butter is a good analogy since the hill was as slick as butter. Between the snow, mud and all the wet leaves under it. Thanks for checking it out
Awesome bro! Those tracks work great👍🏼🤙🏼🤘🏼
Thanks Ben! Has the weather turned ugly out there in your neck of the woods yet? It looked like some ugly stuff is brewing. Thanks for checking it out
@@RCWalletVacuum yeah, it just started my bro Brian 👍🏼
@@Meyers2strokeRcgarage I think that same system is headed here today. Hopefully you survived un-scathed
@@RCWalletVacuum we’ve had about 10 inches so far and it’s still snowing if it’s coming your way it’s a doozy👍🏼🤙🏼😉
Nice man👍
Thanks PaintenDave, i'm hoping to do some mods on the center diff this weekend to stick a 62 tooth ring gear in and gear it down a bit. Thanks for checking it out
That’s awesome 🤘
Thanks or checking it out buddy!
Chique carro 🚗 ❄🥰💪🏼👍🏻
Mucho Gracias
Wow rip it up dad…..
My shoulder or the truck, lol? The truck fared better than my shoulder from the wipeout. I see you have the Admar icon, is that just rentals, or do you sell things like crawler dozers? I'm thinking of getting one in the future here in wny. Thanks for checking out the video
