- In this video i finish the aluminum battery/receiver combo box for the Taylor powered Kraken Vekta. Then it goes to the track for a test run. As usual the roll cage gets some inadvertent testing as well.
Great run Brian !! Going to get together soon and do a little rip!!!
Sounds like a great idea Vance. We can go try the hillclimb and i'm going to start clearing a large "glacial bowl" in the woods for launches. Looking forward to seeing you again. Thanks for checking it out
Man those are beautiful 5ths
Thanks Nitro! and thanks for checking it out
Safe to say all big scale cage builds will have you on the edge of your seat. Spectating or on the controller lol. When I saw you transfer the berm I was like “oh shit” lol good stuff brother🤌
Hey Ghostworks, the sad part is that i'm not even drunk and i drive that bad, lol. Thanks for checking it out
@@RCWalletVacuum lol 😂 cheers brother
Nice job on that Roll cage man! Sucker took a beating
Thanks brother! btw, i love your channel, you have a lot of cool things going on over there
Had me a little worried with that jump, but I see that thing is built like a tank . Great video 👌✊️🤛👍💪🏻
Hey Kong, what's going on with you? Good to hear from you and thanks for checking in buddy
Doing some park bashing with some braap brothers that come out most Sundays. I'll try to record next time . 2 builds I'm working on and my taylor 50 is almost ready for start up some videos are coming very soon. Thanks for asking 🤙👊🤝💪🏻👍
@@kingkongrc247 Cool Kong, i'm looking forward to seeing the video
Very awesome Brian! The roll cape is definitely tough! Seems like the kill switch is spot on too! Really sucks about the barrel switch… I really wanted it to work!
I actually use Hillman 20A rocker switches straight out of Lowes. Super positive engagement, simple and cheap.
Thanks so much for continuing to share your awesome work with us!
Thanks Todd!, i'm not too concerned with the mechanical switch at the moment, the PCB kill switch de-bugging is next in line. I have to finish the filtering software then its ready for a test. After that the engine SCADA is the priority Thanks for the switch tip and as always thanks for checking in, always great to hear from you
Nice 👍💥💪 Look like you have a summer already in there 🌞 and lots of flying "friends" too.
Thanks Jukka and yes, the biting black flies were very annoying! Thanks for checking it out
Radio box looks great! Track looks like it’s dried out nicely! “I know what wrong with it….aint got no gas in it” haha
Thanks Kyle, yeah the track site dried out pretty well. Of course the black flies are in full force. I'm working on another launch spot in the woods. Next time your out we'll go check it out. Thanks for watching buddy
The aluminum enclosure came out super nice. Overall great design. Lots of work getting the prototype together. I like how your car started right up and had perfect idle. You really have it dialed in. Running like a champ. Nice work my friend.
Thanks RC, now if i could just get rid of all those biting flies up there. Thanks for checking it out buddy
ha ha @@RCWalletVacuum
That radio box and cage came out bad ass !! Great rip !! That think is epic brother!! Great work!!
Thanks Big John. The cage needs to be tough to hold up with my crappy driving, lol. Thanks for checking it out buddy

Leave the roll cage testing to rc wallet vacuum ! He will undoubtedly find any weak points.! lol he'll of a show brother! 💪💥💥🤘oh and I see the spring Flys are there to keep you company ! 😢
Thanks Addict and yes, if anybody can fuck it up it will be me! Those flies provide about three weeks of hell up there. Thanks for checking it out Addict
Solid build nice run 👍🏼👍🏼what steering servo you running? I’m running method belted tires they are wide so I’m going to need a beefy servo 👍🏼
Thanks buddy! ,I currently am running an AGFRC 100kg single servo. Thanks for checking it out
I'm ignorant to the 5th world. Why don't they have 2 or even 3 speeds???
Hey Nitro, yeah, i've wondered that myself. It would definitely be killer for the on road 1/5th as well as the off road. A CVT might be kind of cool as well. Thanks for checking it out
