  • In this video i take the Random Ramp out to the track for some initial prototype testing. Other than a doppler sensor issue it goes very well and i don't even break anything on it or the Sledge

      Thanks buddy! It needs more testing and refinement but it worked surprisingly well for its maiden test. Thanks for checking it out

    super cool idea! I've been very interested in seeing this come together since you showed us the concept! I've always fashioned myself as an outside of the box thinker but you're on a whole different level Brian!
    As far as the driving skill? I wouldn't give it a second thought brother.... I don't think any of us are any kind of "wheelmen"! 😂
    Thanks for continuing to share your awesome creations with us!

      Thanks Todd. the reality is i way more enjoy the working on things than driving them. I just saw your Sherp video and that is a very cool little vehicle. Thanks for checking it out

    Great job Brian. You got the ramp fully functional. All your hard work paid off and it came out fabulous.

    Can't believe I'm just finding this video now. I gotta remember that youtube doesn't suggest your videos to me. Sweet ramp design. Way over my head on the tech side. Haha... perfect test veichle. The sludge. Haha.
    I think you could get some good air. And I like how it's adjustable. I built my ramp from steel.. now I think it's to steep. So major surgery to change the approach angle. In spring I'll get my ramp adjusted for sanity..lol

      Hey Wally, there is a prior video to this where i go over a little more of the build features and there will be a follow up video on some modifications to make it more field worthy that i'm currently doing.

    Might wanna get a patent on that baby! Imagine incorporating it into an 1/ 8 scale pro track.👊💥💥

      It's not worth a patent. Some professional companies can make a slight change and the patent would be useless. Not everything is worth patenting. It's not cheap to do. You have to have a market for it too. Plus it is a bunch of store-bought products from other manufacturers you would have to give royalties if they even let you use their product in the patent. People throw out the word patent too easily without knowing how it works.

    More rocket science!! I’d call this a successful trial!! Good work. Definitely call the patent office

    Interesting test 👍 Maybe if using lower curve in the rotating part , car don't flip over that easy.

    What is it supposed to do? The ramp.

    • @RCWalletVacuum
      @RCWalletVacuum  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I did a previous video explaining its function, but basically the vehicle gets sensed when approaching the ramp then a random number is generated and used to turn a stepper motor which moves an adjustable kick plate to change the ramps launch geometry. Once the vehicle crosses the ramp, its detected by an accelerometer and the kick plate re-homes. Thanks for checking it out
