What I really love about the message of this movie is that, if you notice, Clarence didn't just give George $8000 and fix everything. He didn't even tell George that Potter had the money, even though Clarence knew where it was. All he did was give George the strength to carry on until George could reap what he had sown all those years of being such a good man and being the town's pillar.

Excellent editing choices, very different from what I’ve seen before! I’ve watch a lot of Gladiator reaction videos and focussing so much on the opening exchanges made this made this a standout reaction! Edit: It would be a foolish person who underestimated you.

I agree with the logical man, on this one. The woman, (sorry, I don't know your names, just been watching Rocky with you all night, 1-here), is stuck in the fanfare of all the previous movies, each having a boxing contest for Rocky to win. Well, no .This is a different contest. Life changes & we have to adjust to the changes in Rocky's life, just like he does. The whole point was that Rocky was stuck in the fanfare through Tommy's fight. It was no longer Rocky's fight. He had to learn that through Tommy's betrayal. Tommy's disloyal attack upon Paulie, (Rocky's family), was the catalyst that required Rocky to separate his principles from the fanfare. That street fight was the only necessary fight. It wasn't about boxing or being the champion. It was only about his principles, his family & his acceptance of what was important. When everything was gone, his life & his family was more important. Reality. A boxer cannot be a boxer forever. The body breaks. She must have forgotten what he said to Apollo. I've enjoyed watching these with you! And I'm going to see your reaction to Rocky Balboa! Sylvester Stallone.,.so ahh! You must watch Cliffhanger! And all the Rambo movies, starting w/First Blood. ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ But, yes. The lady's response was too far from reality, for me. Lol.

This is one of those movies I would love to be able to see for the first time again. That can't happen but watching people see it for the first time and have the look on their faces like you guys did is so entertaining. Great reaction.

I believe historically, if I remember correctly, the blood-lust by the Roman Empire and the games with the gladiators was one of the factors in its downfall, along with the corruption. As the late astronomer Carl Sagan said in "Cosmos," "When the people came to burn Rome, there was no one to stop them." Great reactions by you both. As always, THANKS for letting come along. 🙂

Movie reaction suggestion: Cocoon - 1985 Sci-fi/comedy. I personally avoid rated-R and excessively violent films, but the reactions I have seen are very good. I am happy that the fires did not adversely affect you long term. Stay safe.

This is a classic tale of misdirection and good writing. You cannot trust nearly anything that you’re told during the movie, what they call the “unreliable narrator”. Who knows if Sose even killed his family in the manner described … it could have been made up in order to intimidate his enemies.

What makes this film work is the real life friends between Walter Matthau and Jack Lemon. They made more than a dozen films together, and were the original “Odd Couple”.

The thing to remember is they are young. Both Derrick and Daniel. Both can be persuaded so easily in that age group. Especially considering the circumstances.

The movie rewards the repeat viewings. Everything falls into place and you see the clues. The relationship of score & editing is amazing

Same reaction I had when it first came out. I couldn’t do a reaction channel, I’ve seen so many movies I can’t remember a lot of them. In the mid 90’s I was delivering pizza and one of my customers was the owners of a video rental place and they tipped me with free movies so yeah, I watched a lot of movies in the 90’s. Brilliant reaction to my second favourite film of all-time!

First time I ever watched this, I was tired. Hanging out with some friends and closed my eyes about 45 minutes in. I woke up as Agent Kujan was realizing what happened. I was still blown away by how amazing the ending is. Instant classic.
