Your reactions are the best. Because they are reactions, and not acting. There is a big misunderstanding in all the reaction videos on TH-cam. That is, it is about reaction, not acting. Verbal Kint is what we call an 'unreliable narrator'. I see people all the time trying to figure out exactly the events that took place. It's impossible, you can't because the narrator didn't leave enough information for anyone to figure out, not even the police. The whole story is a fabrication. Even when Kevin Spacey sits in the car at the end, and you see the face of whom we've known as Kobayashi, you still said, 'That's Kobayashi.' No, Kobayashi is a porcelain manufacturer. That wasn't his name at all. Perhaps the most brilliant example of misdirecting cinema. I guessed the twist in The Sixth Sense by the second scene in the film, I'm really good at working things out long before they're revealed (sometimes to my own detriment since I spoil films for myself) but even I didn't figure this one out until the copper was reading the wall.

This is a classic tale of misdirection and good writing. You cannot trust nearly anything that you’re told during the movie, what they call the “unreliable narrator”. Who knows if Sose even killed his family in the manner described … it could have been made up in order to intimidate his enemies.

There is one major clue to figure it out. When they get to boat and the guys show up with the money, they are speaking a foreign language and Verbal is the one who tells them right away they are speaking Hungarian. A fact Keyzer Soze would know due to the story of Soze and the Hungarians.
Seeing Chazz Palminteri in this reminds me of (What I think) is his best movie; "A Bronx Tale". Directed by, & also starring Robert DeNiro. If you haven't seen it- it's great!
The _brilliant_ thing is that this movie *tells* you Verbal is Keiser. Like, a lot. Most "twist" movies hide the spin. This one follows Agatha Christies rule - all clues in the open. "No killing" is Verbal's plan. Next job _he_ kills unnecessarily. Coffee doesn't hydrade. "Roger, really..." His name isn't his name. Redfoot and Kobayashi aren't...I don't wanna be insensitive, but 🤗...they don't match their names. The little smiles on Spacey's face. "I didnt belong there..." Indeed, Keiser _didn't_ belong with low level thieves. Soze was Turkish with a German father. "Keiser Soze" is clumsy Turkish/German for the King of Saying Too Much. "People say I talk too much..." And so on and so forth. Glorious reaction Bosses. 👏👏👏🤌 You two rock hard core! Can't resist pointing out Jessica saying "he's honest" at the start. Whoops. 😅😂

There was a blooper they left in the movie. During the line-up scene near the beginning, actor Benicio Del Toro farted as they were filming. That was the reason all five actors were laughing.
Movie reaction suggestion: Cocoon - 1985 Sci-fi/comedy. I personally avoid rated-R and excessively violent films, but the reactions I have seen are very good. I am happy that the fires did not adversely affect you long term. Stay safe.

Same reaction I had when it first came out. I couldn’t do a reaction channel, I’ve seen so many movies I can’t remember a lot of them. In the mid 90’s I was delivering pizza and one of my customers was the owners of a video rental place and they tipped me with free movies so yeah, I watched a lot of movies in the 90’s. Good times, enjoy your reactions. ❤
Amazing movie. Watching your reaction right now. Always a joy to see you both react. This movie has one of the most iconic endings. Often spoofed as well. A quick fun fact: Everyone is cracking up in the lineup scene because Benicio del Toro ripped a nasty fart. It was originally a more serious scene, but finally was kept the way it is now.
First time I ever watched this, I was tired. Hanging out with some friends and closed my eyes about 45 minutes in. I woke up as Agent Kujan was realizing what happened. I was still blown away by how amazing the ending is. Instant classic.
Imagine seeing this in a theater full of people watching the reveal at the end! I remember a lot of people, including myself, staying stuck in our chairs after the light went up because we we all trying to wrap our heads around what we just saw! The ride home was basically all of asking "but how...?" "but then who...?". Probably the greatest plot twist in any movie!
Obviously we know Verbel changed the names of almost everyone. As far as the other scenes within his story, we don't know if a lot of those events even happened. Def gets you scratching your head for a while.
So the reason everyone was laughing during the lineup is because Benicio kept farting to make everybody laugh. It was supposed to be a serious scene but I guess Benicio had other plans.

Until this very day, i never thought about Kobayashi actually being Keyser. He's a better age, he speaks with accent, and if you look at the dark image of Keyser walking with fire behind him after wiping everyone out in Turkey, it looks like Kobayashi. I think Verbal was his lieutenant. It makes WAY more sense. Keyser wouldnt pop up to do it all himself. I never thought about that before.
I like your reactions and your channel. Thanks. And the editing is good so we can watch along without too many interruptions. May i suggest - a little off the beaten path. Please react to Coherence - an indy film, much of it improvised, that is for sure to have you both talking afterwards. It continues to fly under the radar but almost anyone who sees it loves it. Go in blind, I won't even mention what its about - better that way - only say its a head scratcher for sure.
Thanks, Daniel. The short version: I grew up in Switzerland, and I didn't watch a lot of movies. When I came to the U.S., I first had to learn the language, go through the immigration process, and work like crazy, sometimes 3 jobs a day, sometimes 6-7 days a week (for years). At that time, I didn't have a TV and, of course, no streaming services, etc. Technically speaking, I was living below the poverty line for about two decades and never really had time or money to watch movies. But I always improved my craft, and now I have shot three feature films. I enjoy catching up with all the movies I have missed through our movie reactions. Thanks for watching! We appreciate it! (:
My favourite Kevin Spacey movie, next to this one, is The Life of David Gale. Btw, the cigarette being flicked at Stephen Baldwin’s character Michael McManus wasn’t meant to hit him in the face. ❤BMR
When you watch this film, you forget that nearly everything you hear is just Verbal's storytelling. Not evidence. But it's so engaging you forget to be critical.
This was made for $5mil. Thats _it_ . The catering for a Mission Impossible movie. Accounting for inflation, 37 Usual Suspets could be made for 1 Avengers Endgame. If only there was 1 more... Joe Dirt cost $18 million. I mean...
Being There - 1980, Peter Sellers. Probably not good for the channel, slow and deliberate, but funny and thought provoking. Just a suggestion for your own personal viewing.
Thanks for reaction on classic. Please do reaction on film 2014 John Doe Vigilante. Guarantee, you did not seen anything like this movie. Nothing to do with comics. Just hard and heavy story of one man. You will appreciate this movie.
The only parts of Verbal's story are what would've been news worthy, like New York's finest and Saul's death in that garage. That stuff about killing what was probably a made up family was just more filler and distraction.

The power of the unreliable narrator like Verbal Kent/Keyser Soze. Tell an interesting story and even seasoned cops and audiences will fall for it. 😆
Read and noted! Thank you! (:
Kobayashi was not his helper. It is a company that makes porcelain.
Yes, I guess I should've said: "Oh, look, that's the man Verbal called Kobayashi." (:
Until this very day, i never thought about Kobayashi actually being Keyser. He's a better age, he speaks with accent, and if you look at the dark image of Keyser walking with fire behind him after wiping everyone out in Turkey, it looks like Kobayashi.
I think Verbal was his lieutenant. It makes WAY more sense. Keyser wouldnt pop up to do it all himself.
I never thought about that before.
Haha... I'm glad we could make you think! (:
@BossMovieReactions you're supposed to help me be brainless on Saturdays!! Hahaha.
You guys are the best.
@@correypeta Haha... Yeah, there's no brainless with such a movie!! (:
I like your reactions and your channel. Thanks. And the editing is good so we can watch along without too many interruptions. May i suggest - a little off the beaten path. Please react to Coherence - an indy film, much of it improvised, that is for sure to have you both talking afterwards. It continues to fly under the radar but almost anyone who sees it loves it. Go in blind, I won't even mention what its about - better that way - only say its a head scratcher for sure.
Great. I just added the film to our list. Thanks! (:
🤣🤣🤣🤣oh-boy.
Oh-boy indeed! (:
Love you're reactions but how have you never seen these films? 😂
I hope you will watch "Legends of the fall". I think you will both enjoy that.
Yep, it's on our list. Thanks! (:
That is a good one.
a brilliant film.
Read and noted! Thank you! (:
Hello my dear friend another great reaction, I also started with movie reactions, hope you remember, greets from Croatia and everythin best.
Oh, yeah, sure!!! Greetings to Croatia. You changed your profile picture!! Good luck with your reaction channel! (:
@@BossMovieReactions thank you sir, really thanks :)

My favourite Kevin Spacey movie, next to this one, is The Life of David Gale. Btw, the cigarette being flicked at Stephen Baldwin’s character Michael McManus wasn’t meant to hit him in the face. ❤BMR
Just added the movie. Thanks! And yes, I read about the cigarette on a Trivia page. (:
This movie was making me legit❤
What a mind-trip that was!! O-:
When you watch this film, you forget that nearly everything you hear is just Verbal's storytelling. Not evidence. But it's so engaging you forget to be critical.
Agreed! Read and noted! Thank you! (:
This was made for $5mil. Thats _it_ .
The catering for a Mission Impossible movie.
Accounting for inflation, 37 Usual Suspets could be made for 1 Avengers Endgame. If only there was 1 more...
Joe Dirt cost $18 million. I mean...
Haha... Yeah, good point! (:
Just a couple movies you should react to. Field of Dreams and one that I haven’t seen many reactions to Hoosiers. Two great movies you would enjoy.
Thanks, I just added "Hoosiers." "FOD" was already on it. (:
Kaiser Soze. We really didn't hear any more about him! 😊
True! Read and noted! Thank you! (:
I didn't know it was possible for someone to NOT understand the bulletin board scene in the end. I mean, come on, girl.
I don't know what you're talking about, she clearly understood it. (:
Jail and prison is nothing but college for criminals, believe me I know from experience
I believe it! (:
During the lineup scene, they're all laughing because Benicio kept farting during every take.
Haha... Thanks for sharing! (:
@BossMovieReactions Benicio also improvised his characters' quirks.
It wasn't in the script.
Benicio created that character.
@@km666 Read and noted! Thank you! (:
🔥👏👏👏
Read and noted! Thank you! (:
I used to get goulash from Keyser Soze.
Nice! Read and noted! Thank you! (:
Being There - 1980, Peter Sellers. Probably not good for the channel, slow and deliberate, but funny and thought provoking. Just a suggestion for your own personal viewing.
Thank you, Christian, I just added it to our list. (:
great movie
Read and noted! Thank you! (:
good job
Read and noted! Thank you! (:
the cigarette flick was a mistake.. it wasn't supposed to hit Stephen...
According to a Trivia page, it was supposed to hit Steven's chest! Thank you! (:
Did you see the trailer for the movie Haywire? pretty cool huh?
Pretty kick-ass! (:
Would you both consider reacting to 'The Machinist' please?
Thank you.
I just checked our list, and "The Machinist" was not on it, so I just added it. Thanks! (:
@BossMovieReactions - many thanks.🙂
@@treznik 👍
This movie is the one where I skip to the end immediately when I watch a reaction of it.
Haha... Interesting... I can see why! (:
Thanks for reaction on classic.
Please do reaction on film 2014 John Doe Vigilante. Guarantee, you did not seen anything like this movie. Nothing to do with comics. Just hard and heavy story of one man. You will appreciate this movie.
I just checked, and that movie is actually already on our list. Thx! (:
@BossMovieReactions You will not regret. It's one of the best movies I've ever seen.
@@brukswings 👍
Just saw you guys find out who Keyser Soze was 😈, cool right!
Yeah, that was an epic twist! (:
Great reaction guys, always good to watch ur videos.
Plz watch a movie called "A BRONX TALE" What a great movie that is 👍
Thanks. Yeah, I just put that one on our list a minute ago! (:
@BossMovieReactions good times, 👍
The only parts of Verbal's story are what would've been news worthy, like New York's finest and Saul's death in that garage. That stuff about killing what was probably a made up family was just more filler and distraction.
Read and noted! Thank you! (:
Ha, you fell for the pump fake like everyone else!!
Don't know exactly what you mean, but I'm sure I fell for it! LOL. (:
@@BossMovieReactions pump fake, comes from sport, you get led to believe it's going one way (the ball or in this case, the plot) then it suddenly changes direction!
Hello
Hello Mustafa. Thanks for watching! (:
"Keaton got shot."
According to whom..? I doubt this movie was the first to do this, but there's the concept of the unreliable storyteller. :)
Yep, agreed! Read and noted! Thank you! (:
@@BossMovieReactions Come to think of it, I believe it's usually called unreliable narrator, but same same. :)
@@phj223 Yes, "unreliable narrator," but same same indeed! (:
Watch the departed

you guys grew up in the 90s, are involved in the film industry, yet never saw usual suspects or mrs doubtfire before??
And many, many, more... We explained it a few times! Thanks for watching! (:

Verbal Kint made up the whole story he told the detective
Yeah, how crazy is that?!! (:
React on brender frazer movie the Whale
Just checked, it's on our list. Thx! (:
At 35:16 Verbal slips up but Kujan doesn't catch it because he's yelling over him, but Verbal first says "I did, I did kill Keaton."
Maybe, but I can't be sure about it. Kujan said: "Tell me you saw someone kill Keaton" and Verbal said: "I did..." and then it's muffled, but one could assume that Verbal was going to say: "I did see someone kill Keaton." Who knows. Either way, a fantastic movie and an epic twist!! (:
