I hand brush all my 1:72 scale airfix planes and armor ots fun relaxing break from my more extravagant models im building like highly detailed 1/24 scale cars and vehicles and my bigger 1/24 scale airfox spit fire that is a year into ot already cause im being very detailed and making it look as realistic as possible with wores hoses lines ect and tones of scratch building to add in more detail its looking amazing you would be proud james may lol. But hand brushing a small 1/72 scale plane or tank is the most relaxing thing in the world apending few evenings over a weekend to build one is amazing feeling come sunday night when its all done. I use thread for sewing for the air wires and looks very scale i even paint the wires to make them look more realistic and rugged instead of perfect atraight piece of thread the paint helps it droop and gives it a very fine texture
