albazar123 what is not moving relative to the camera? the exhaust? it is moving! Also the camera itself is moving. There is no way you could fix a iphone or anything else so tight it wouldn't move at all, not with gaffer tape and not with anything else. the sensor scans the frame from bottom to top (in this case left to right or right to left because it is mounted sideways). and because of the speed and the vibration this side effect becomes visible.

2m8y4u I believe this is the automatic image stabilization youtube provides...
Martin Blass this is definitely rolling shutter which is obvious at high speeds. you can tell from the blurred vertical sections in the frames.
but relative to the camera it is not moving, so i can't be rolling shutter.
I saw the "effect" in one of James's recorder music videos - check it out. Does not seem like a rolling shutter.
