Start a new show, Top Chef. Get Hammond and Clarkson, turn on TH-cam ads, and attempt to cook things. It's the same idea as Top Gear, just with a cooking show. Something that could totally be a legitimate cooking show, but instead is a show of a trio of middle-aged men attempting to make their way through the kitchen. When you get a really tough recipe that no one can make, you have to give it to The Stig's Culinary Cousin.
It's because Top Gear is these guys. It's why the other projects with the same format didn't hit it off as well. They're alright car shows, but they're not Top Gear.
All it needs is a special wineometer to show how much has been drunk at any given time and a voiceover from either Hammond or Clarkson 'despite the fact James is now on his second bottle, he still manages to take the pie out of the oven in time' (obviously when they sit down to eat the fire will then start)
"Ah yes, a selection of Royal Air Force Second World War aircraft. The other one I'm sure has got cats on it...or something like that." And this is why I love James May.
This was nice, I hope the world will again see the magic that the three make. It is so rare to have such a perfect combination, it's like a car that has everything right.
Honestly I don't even like cooking shows, and this is actually quite enjoyable to watch. Honestly I came to top gear for the cars, but I realize I stayed because of the people presenting those cars. Well done James May.

When I'm making a dish with ground meat(beef or chicken) I season the meat the day before and let it set in the refrigerator. Usually use Italian seasoning mix, garlic powder, and salt. Then once I start cooking, just need to add the fresh stuff and maybe a little turmeric.
The mortar is the bowl and the pestle is the grinder, military mortars actually get their name from this piece of cooking equipment as early medieval mortars resembled the bowl from the mortar and pestle
Get Mrs May on this too, Hammond and his other half can join in Chuck in a few more bottles of red and we have some quality Friday night entertainment :)
