I think dogmeat is also worth a mention. Codsworth still nullifies Lone wanderer, and requires a dlc to hit that useful peak. Dogmeat doesn't disable Lone Wanderer, one of the strongest perks, has a carry capacity of 150, due to a (at least in survival), bug where equipping any gear but welder's goggles on him (can have them, just need a bandana/collar too), and has his own perks to buff even further. I've never used any companions in Fo4 after I learned that, everyone else felt useless by comparison, especially with vanilla companion aim, if we're specifying unmodded.

About dagobah : on my version pf complete saga on gamecube, right before yoda humps on your back, the screen would go black. Only fix was to switch your language to English (not my native) But yeah, being 7 and internet not as much developped, it was game breaking

isshin from sekiro. Yes he is probably the best designed boss in any game ever (and one of the hardest) but the difficulty pales in comparison to demon of hatred

jak x combat racing was one of the worst offenders of bugs runining the game. A LOT of the first prints of the game had an issue where the save data would instantly be corrupted AND LOST this meant that you couldnt delete it off your memory card either, they werent small saves either. so not only did you have to beat the game in one go without turning off your system but it was also "destroying" your memory cards aswell if you decided to save.

I feel like Harley isn't unintentionally broken like the other characters on the list. They deliberately gave her strong melee abilities and an effective way to lure enemies into traps explicitly to make up for how she can't really use stealth in a stealth action game. It's a deliberate tradeoff.

Im surprised you didn't say Dog meat for FO4 when he didn't count as a companion for the lone wanderer perk.

I found one in Spyro A Hero's Tale that I've not seen anyone else mention. In the level Cloudy Domain, you're supposed to go forward and get the Wing Shield ability that allows you to deal with the flying enemies. However, you can simply jump past them with no problem. If you do this, you can eventually reach a platform with a Light Gem on it, which autosaves your game. The problem is that this isn't how you're supposed to reach the platform, you're supposed to break a Dark Gem that summons some floating platforms to take you to there instead, and so if you grab the gem this way, there's no way off the platform because you can't reach another platform and it will respawn you on the platform if you throw yourself off. Yes, I discovered this myself on my first playthrough of the game during my freshman year of college and I did have to restart the game.

Honestly, even if the Raiders faction from the Nuka World DLC was not supposed to affect the story, the way the story is affected actually falls right into place with the story. TL:DR, This would fit in with how a role play decision affects the hypothetical character’s now-non-canon life, in a way that matches the world’s canon. Nate/Natalie went on a quest to save their son, but before getting the final keys to wherever their son may be, they gave in to the depravities of being a full-fledged raider? It would be awfully hard for a full-fledged raider to get progress on anything if they raid and pillage as they please with no tangible interest in negotiation and ignoring appeals to one’s morals. (Mr. Garvey and his Minute Men trusted you, my guy! … Or they would, if you befriended them before you ventured into Nuka World. And if this is a first encounter, why would they trust a raider who has already done deplorable things so far?)

Undyne and sans are definitely great candidates for this list, when playing genocide for the first time beating undyne is so difficult that when you get to sans you don’t expect him to be another insanely difficult fight that will require multiple hours to beat.

you forgot to mention: in "destroy all humans", extracting brains is the main way to earn Upgrade points to improve your equipment!

A random glitch I never managed to recreate in Twilight Princess is I somehow got some of the enemy spawns to accidentally spawn double the normal amount of foes. This made certain areas very very hard.
