Another tip for A Dream Fulfilled, for the crystal sand - three of the items you can trade in are from crafting, one is garlond steel, another is a certain leather, and the last is celestine - these sell on the merketboard fairly cheaply. I spent somewhere in the neighborhood of 250-300k (on 60 leather) just to try and make this easier on myself. The poetocs grind already made my eyes wanna bleed lol. Damn you, AST, and your gorgeous weapons from here...

if you think fatalis and alatreon were the two hardest fights, you should try the AT velkana event

Most people actually hate the fact the monsters show up immediately in Rise. Old school monster hunters believe the game is way too easy and holds your hand way too much. It’s about HUNTING. Not monster boss rush. Hence why you have to find the tracks and find the monster, and as you become a more adept hunter you learn about the monster and then know the common habitats of the monster hence why you can find it right away. It’s important progression to the series and its sad to see it go to the wayside for impatient kids

I've had a lot of good memories from base MHW fighting Behemoth before MR was released (during the content drought days), players nowadays can't get that same community experience anymore

Viper is disappointing yet i find myself playing it alot... Then again i don't really expect Squenix to consider Complexity in a Jobs general design, infact I'd go as far to say that they have a Phobia of Complexity sometimes, because Even babies need to be able to play every class in the game without exception

I disagree with Dawntrail dungeons being "the best in quality", that goes to Shadowbringers. Objectively the most fun dungeons.

Personally, I don't agree about the tracking. I HATE the absolute lack of monster tracking in Rise, as I find it an utterly tasteless QoL addition that robs the game of a good amount of identity when stacked with the other streamlined features. And I started my MH journey with World; I'm no veteran. Tracking monsters and learning their frequently visited locations is a big part of the hunting simulation aspect that, as you said, makes them feel like more than just boss fights. As you learn their habits, tracking becomes less of an issue, regardless of the scoutflies. As a World newcomer, early game tracking in the Ancient Forest had never felt like a chore but a core part of the experience; a 'tasteful inconvenience', not unlike weapon sharpening or the pre-hunt prep work. Monster HUNTER, baby! Not monster fighter.
