This and Barb are easily the best fights in EW. I did also like Endsinger a little bit, but that had a lot of down time as well. That was about the boos looking cool and stuff.
Usually people in JP uses echo macro and press it to tell party if its " IN > SPREAD " or " OUT > STACK " because there's a lot of people either they forget or didn't see what was boss casted before.
Seeing you post this got me to push the raid again today after taking a break and getting my first clear. This fight definitely pushed me as a healer, but god it was satisfying to complete. Congrats on your clear! :D
"This guy does no damage" you've never been in a pf that barely mits. Binding cold can kill after one tick of the initial hit on geared squishies if barely mitted. It's really hit or miss with pf. Anyway, I appreciate you kept the legend title with vuln stack footage - living the meme lmao. Just missing the mentor crown.
Barb is still my favorite EX, but this fight was solid. Attempting to slidecast during gale is a nightmare. Glad you got to do this blind! Best way to do content imo (aside from ulti). How do you feel about PF's insistence on using true north for gale? I find keeping track of TN to be too much to keep in my head.

Honestly I've run tanks since I started (Until now, going as melee dps this tier for first time, wish me luck -> If I can drop my opinion; I just yolo and follow my marked partner, cause they'll sure worry more about it. Or I hope since their a tank :') But all serious both works good, the bad and annoying part of it is only that it brings confusion upon the party and that's the only wrong that it's doing. Causing random wipe cause someone thought it was S or no should been W for whatever mechanic. Is why I personally just put the Hector, it's universal, respect EVERYTHING being N and S divided, no hought, just move, we'll be good -w-
Ive never done a savage or extreme in this expansion, and my dps isn't that great cause im not use to my job so my dps sucks so dont know if this fight is worth for me lol
Personally, Golbez is a lot more punishing and harder than Barb in the fact that there was a lot of invuln proof mechs for tanks, body check mechs in the form of Double Meteors, significantly more punishing mechs in the form of voidstardust, and for a much more personal reason, feels a LOT more intimidating.
I could care less which Void stardust prio you use, but 1) put in the pf description, and also 2) we already have everyone just saying TN and g1N, g2S, it makes sense to have stardust N/S
I feel like this fight manages to be both challenging and chill at the same time, which is pretty rare.

i enjoyed golbez, im confused how people find it the hardest ex so far i though barb was harder
Barb might have been harder, been a while since I did it so I don’t really remember tbh.
Golbez is easy, just the stupid wind gale 2 confusion lol.

Best EX of the expansion imo, really makes Rubicante look terrible being sandwiched between the best two extremes
