Hey! I'm Chris and I'm an English expat who has spent most of his adult life living and traveling outside of my home country.
Rather than doing the usual mid-life crisis thing of buying myself and motorbike or a sports car, I bought myself some camera equipment and started sharing my travel experiences with the world.
I hope to bring a different perspective to many of the (great!) younger vloggers out there as I travel to places both old and new to me.
If you enjoy my videos the please hit SUBSCRIBE to see more, and I'd love to meet you in the comments!

Hi, is there spaces for hand luggages? We’ll be travelling with backpacks and hand luggages in our trip around Morocco we’re thinking of booking this trip you see thanks for the vid
Plenty of space there for your luggage from what I saw, don’t worry! Enjoy your trip!
WHY ALL THE COMPLAINING STAY IN YOUR COUNTRY AND MOURN ABOUT THE WEATHER
Thanks for watching and for the engagement
[ would) love to visit all the countries [ OUR HEAVENLY FATHER created? Maybe @/,
Looks beautiful I must visit Hammamet
dude we use water instead of toilet paper
I’m well aware of that and prefer it, but people visiting for the first time may not be..
Great and informative video, we are going to Tunisia in July, not been for about 15 years, looking forward but apprehensive with the uk government guidelines. We'll have fun im sure , thanks again for a great video
Thanks I’m glad it was helpful. If we listen to closely to the guidelines then we would miss a lot of great places. There’s probably many places I’d be more worried to go back in the UK. Anyway, have a great time!
@ChrisKermis so true, we said exactly the same, cheers again 👍
Off to Morocco in November, will it still be hot ?
For the Arab people : it's Persian Gulf😉
Although I don’t expect I will visit India I still find it so interesting hearing what not to do in such a cultural different country.
A very interesting video, I'm going to morocco in November /December, what is the weather like at this time of the year, do they still run the Sahara desert trip?
What about prices ? Food expensive, restaurants expensive, shopping expensive? Its always good to talk about them topics init 😝, how much cost that lunch for example?
The real Dema |-/
I'm Moroccan, born and bred in Italy and living in the UK. I must say, you sir have become an expert. Every info you gave was accurate, the first thing dad does when we arrive in Morocco is go and buy me bottles of water, I just can't. I'm from Casablanca and Essaouira, welcome any time! And you certainly should visit the northern cities of Chefchaouen, Tangier, Asilah, and the beautiful beaches of Martil! Lots of love 💗
Very cool video, enjoyed it a lot :)
Thank you!
😊👌
Reminds of Istanbul's bazaar
What transportation from casablanca airport to asilah city?
I didn't. I traveled Tangier -> Asilah -> Meknes by train.
ooof are you trying to respark the spat from 300 years ago ?
I plan to travel to Marrakech for a holiday this year, and a night in the Sahara will be on my list to do. looks amazing
Thanks for the great video. My son is there today, and I wanted to show my class a video about the area. Thanks for a fun, informative school friendly video. the kids especially enjoyed the food and the way you described the tastes!!!
That’s the first time I’ve heard of one of my videos being shown to a class! Glad it went down well and I hope your son has a great experience there!
Great Video Chris.
Cheers Bert!
And giving €13 tips in your home country, you have no shame
You could just stay for more days in merzouga and then return with another group a week later or something.. you just a negative person
Hello, i love your video so far. I am stiil watching but i wanted to ask.. what is a good general tip? you mentions 10 dirham for a taxi but is that also a good tip or is that too much? what would be too much?
Groovy vibes from Link Wray in a Jim Jarmush movie. Well done Asilah! 😎
It's a mixture confection🙏👍
Everything is on wheels for cleaning. Easier to mop those tile floors with everything out of the way.
One of the best vlogs i've seen about my country, i hope it goes viral . Thank you Chris!
Thank you! This was a great day in Tunisia
Never expected what? If the fridge and everything is on wheels it's easier to move to clean behind. Great idea, actually.
“this AMAZING capital of MOROCCO!”
Hi bro Im from Morocco and most of the stuff you say not true I don’t know if you talking about Morocco or somewhere else
What is not true and why?
You miss to tell us price for lobster
Loved your blog for Fes and the Desert Tour. What is the name of the Riad you stayed in Fes? It looks very good and we plan to book it for out trip in November. What time of the year did you travel to Morocco?
Thanks, it was Riad Damia. Do check the latest reviews as it was a while ago that I was there. My trip to Fez and the desert tour was in May
🇲🇦👍
Thank you very much Chris for your nice video. I am from Hamedan but since 2007 I live in the UK. I missed my city. Watching your video makes me happy. Best wishes for you dear Chris.
I’m glad you enjoyed them, traveling in Iran was an incredible experience
Freddie Mercury was zorastrian who was from india After arab conquest zoroastrian base shifted from persia to iran The zorastrian community is locally called parsi ( farsi /persian) ,they speak gujrati a local language of india
8:28 Local people shop everywhere.. just it depends on areas, some places can be more or less clean .. I live in Paris .. and you can have that contrast also in Paris .. But that massive dirtiness sometimes in Tunisia is something just new .. It was never the case before 2011
Nice vid Chris. Not sure why you couldn’t go into the mosque! They’re always open to non Muslims during non prayer times to visit. Sorry to hear if you feel you couldn’t go in there/ they didn’t let you in! Also I believe the pink drink could have been a ‘falooda’ 😅
Another great vid.. I just wanna add that you are always allowed inside a Mosque whether Muslim or not. Nobody can stop anybody from entering a Mosque.
I am tunsian and i saw all videos about Tunsia, and this one is by far the most informative one .. You just understood everything in the right way .... Bravo 👏 By the way I am going there(I live in France), with my English girlfriend in June. She visits Tunisia for the first time ..
Thank you 🙏🏽 Hope you both have a great time when you go!
Great video (subbed!). Where in England are you from out of interest? Your accent reminds me of my cousins 😄
Thank you 🙏🏽 I’m from the South Coast originally but left the UK many years ago
Lol ot feels like 90% of the video is eating...
Haha the food was pretty good there! I did a second video there too so there’s a bit more non-food 🙂
@@ChrisKermisgreat 👍🏽
You are really tripping to complain about a meal like that for €13 , you have to just spend money sometimes and don’t be counting cents .
I am latin American and found out several years ago my father's father and all my great grandfathers were Moroccan. It was a total surprise and something no one in my family knew. I later found out my Moroccan relatives likely were originally from northern Morocco and likely lived in towns just like Asilah or perhaps even included Asilah. Thank you for sharing this great video so that we newly discovered Moroccans in the Americas can learn about our relatives homeland and what life is like there.
That’s amazing! I hope you can see it for yourself some day
@@ChrisKermis Hi, I am from Morocco, from the city of Asilah. I read your comment about your Moroccan origins from the north. Do you have information about your ancestors? I want to help you if I can.
😇
I'm going in october
even if you are not muslim you can enter the mosques, no one will stop or ask you if you are muslim or not
