I always enjoy your videos but the Tunisian Sahara experience was outstanding. I immediately had to watch it a second time as there was so much to take in. The waterfalls and so much greenery was unreal and had to be seen to be believed. Thank you so much for taking me to such outstanding scenic views.
Well done Sir! That was truly spectacular. It’s been great fun to watch your channel gain in popularity. I’ve always enjoyed your videos and for what it’s worth, you are one of my top “go to’s” for more off the beaten path styled content. Cheers mate!
Thank you, I appreciate it and thanks for your support! This one has to be my best day in Tunisia, well worth travelling to the other side of the country for!
The soup is made of pearl barley and spices . We cook it in winter and specially in fasting month -Ramadhan-. It could be with chicken , lamb, beef, sea fruits, and even kaddid -dried meat -
@@ChrisKermis no just did sousse, El jem And the desert trip Only had a week, but what a great country its like morocco without the crowds 🙏🙏❤️❤️🏴🏴🏴
@wanderingwelshman2858 For sure! I’d totally go back again given the chance. A lot of other places to go before though. Great that you made it out there with only a week though!
Thanks for the great video. My son is there today, and I wanted to show my class a video about the area. Thanks for a fun, informative school friendly video. the kids especially enjoyed the food and the way you described the tastes!!!
Great Video! Tozeur and the south are the busiest during Winter break in December. That's when the desert is not so hot, you can attend Douz International Festival and you can buy fresh dates from the season harvest. I'm guessing you visited during the off season when it's not busy.
Brought back great memories! One little hint is that the “fort/ castle” you found in the desert is scenery from the movie “Bab Aziz” which was filmed in southern Tunisia. I am 99% certain. The Tunisian director was not allowed to shoot in Iran where, I think, the story of the low budget movie is set. The movie is on TH-cam and is one of my favourites. It is a mystical Sufi tale but if that is not your thing just watch the opening scene (I know you will like it). I will never think of sand in the same way again and I was in a sandstorm coming out of the Chott al Jared..
@@ChrisKermis As I said try and watch the opening scene (after the sandstorm). I did last night for the umpteenth time and it always grabs me. The soundtrack is top class and is on TH-cam too. Be happy and stay safe.
Haaa!!! No El Chapo graffiti behind you in your Tozeur zone video, but a lovely "Attention: camels crossing" road sign 😊 I think I prefer this last one 😊 Niiice video, beautiful places: thanks!!!
quite decent length, due to the variety of scenes still didn't feel too long as the visuals and explanation just keep changing :) good job@@ChrisKermis
Never enough time to do everything. I did at least make it to a cave home stay well outside of old Matera with real darkness and a pretty good night sky
@@ChrisKermis Then hopefully you'll be back in Tunisia. There are other places I would love you to introduce us, in the same way you did with Sfax. Underated place => New angle. That was neat
@@ChrisKermis okay then, if you decide to comeback, feel free to comment on this convo and I'll give you some places that I only know virtually but think are worth it. In the meantime I'll be watching your other videos 😁

My mother was born in Tozeur in Nefta specifically, that place and Tunisia has a special place in my heart
My lovely country, thank u for your videos
Thanks for watching!
One of the best vlogs i've seen about my country, i hope it goes viral . Thank you Chris!
Thank you! This was a great day in Tunisia
Awesome video, loved it! You are certainly inspiring me to travel to Tunisia. Can you give a rough idea of what that day trip costs?
Thank you! I think it ended up at around 180 Euro for the guide and 4x4 driver for two days. Well worth it though!
