For those who complain that he did not talk about UPI, folks understand that UPI is not easy to enable if you are not an Indian. I know it because a lot my Indian relatives have now become citizens of USA and Canada and they say UPI is difficult for them to enable despite visiting Indian several times. Even if they manage to enable it, there is usually a limit 5000 rupees in it. So yes, while UPI maybe the worlds best system, it is only easy if you are an Indian citizen.
UPI requires a bank account. Banks don't allow foreigners to start a bank account. Mobile money in other countries (eg Kenya) is much more is tourist-friendly.
Your videos are aimed at those that intend to visit the country of India as a first timer and very useful. Not once have you said "don't come it's terrible" or anything negative about its people so dont see why you get negative comments. Keep up the good work and enjoy yourself. 👍✌️
Thank you, I’ve been surprised at the amount of negativity on these India videos. Some of which hasn’t even made it public. As I said to someone who responded, I’m not showing an only negative side, nor an only positive side. I’m just trying to show a balanced side from a visitor. Sad thing about the internet of course is it really brings out the trolls. I met wonderful people in India and had a great time there. Doesn’t change the difficulties though.
04:15 Tbf it should be noted that there’s madmen like me who are never happier than when stretched out in the lower side bunk of an Indian sleeper train for 24…34…48 hrs😂 Gotta be said I’m more of a 2AC guy than Sleeper Class these days but I’ll do SL before a day happily.
If it offers anything worthwhile for a visitor over just having a visa/mastercard and carrying a bit of cash. It’s easy enough just to pay by card in most places anyway
did you talk of our UPI payment system or aadhar card? each and every citizen's of vast 1.4 Billion ppl's biometric data is captured and can be authenticated for many purposes. do you cover our space programs? our engineering prowess? how we have fought COVID pandemic better than many developed countries of the world?
I didn't, because none of that has anything to do with travel tips for a tourist visiting. None of those things help someone looking to book a train in India for the first time. This video does.
dude...why such a negative cover picture???? why westerns show all the negative aspects???? todays india is of modern infra and a growing economy. This is HIGHLY disrespectful.
There is nothing negative about it. It's a very real picture of a busy street in Varanasi, India's incredible and vibrant holy city. I have no idea why you would find a picture of this place disrespectful. Should I just show a picture of a shiny mall in Gurugram? That's not India, it's just a part. I think whatever I say you will take offense. It's a shame, India really is an incredible and hugely diverse country - In my videos I will show different sides. Not just negative or positive.
Great vlog Chris enjoyed that mate
Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. Pretty much what I was thinking, a great system for Indian citizens but not something that a visitor will likely use.

Although I don’t expect I will visit India I still find it so interesting hearing what not to do in such a cultural different country.
