What I find amazing in this particular TT series by James Hillier is that it's perhaps the most honest documentary about the transition process where decent family men, hard working motorbike guys who don't overcomplicate things get into a superhuman zone. You can see all the dynamic changes. You can see in their eyes when they are there. A trance-like level of focus that is way beyond what our species is capable of. Also it is extremely inspiring to realise that the bravest people of this world (including families and all the guys in the teams because during the run TT is probably among the most dangerous places on the Earth for everyone involved, this way or another) are simple, honest, humble guys.

James, why does Yamaha feel the need to go V4 in motoGP. Considering the current engine doesnt stick out further than the riders legs and yet you can get the C of G further forward? Thank you- enjoyed your briefing.

Have you tried going to a sports psychologist to help with your o er riding? This helped out my nephew in GB3 cars. You said, you felt good behind MD, it's just a thought.

It is now Friday the 4th of October, and I only found these videos two days ago. These are just brilliant, I have been going to the Isle of Man since 1984. And these are a real insight into what you riders do off the bike. Thank you for keeping me sane this week, as it now day 10 9f sitting in the van at work as the ground is flooded. Is the balance shaft removed from this racing engine? I removed electric start and components and now i am having some strange vibrations and chain noise i checked balance chain and it's in spec. Worried that i ruined my engine by removing the electric start.

Just a reminder, James. You're a fkng Legend. You've solidified yourself amongst the greatest motorcycle riders in TT history, and you should be damn proud of that. Now, you've got a whole year to get ready for 2025...when you'll be standing on that podium. I know it.

I have a confession to make. I've watched your Kawasaki H2R Isle of Man TT video more than two dozen times since it was released. The way you spoke about the experience, and the video's editing was married so incredibly well together. You're a Class Act, James, and a true Ambassador to the Craft. Random question James, so you don't run any traction control on the bikes ? You just use the thumb brake to control wheel spin/speed?

James, it may not be you physically lack of favorable results. It just may be mental. Too many minds. Thinking of multiple aspects in a single moment.

The holes in the windshield are meant for vortex (drag coefficient) dampening. Air flow coming off materials when pushing atmosphere around it. The holes calms that turbulent air flow travelling above and underneath the fairing coming above the front tire.

The pitch transition when cornering. Too nose up which causes a lose in handling manuevering. You want it to squat verse want to wheelie?

At what compression ratio do you run. The richer or leaner side from mean 14.1 : 1

Do you factor in weather condition moisture, ambient air temp, and density air (based on elevation) in determine tire compound?

When you speak of acceleration or speed. Is that in mph or kph?

Are you running a radiator intercooler or just a intercooler?

Without giving away too much. James do you use a stock clutch system or racing auto shifter/blipper system?

Why can't you get a single sided swing arm for the Superbike? Is that mod not present for the R1?

Like has already been said, if you could set up something where the normal fans could chuck in what they can afford for Dakar 2025 it could easily add up to better than a poke in the eye.

These videos were my highlight of the TT this year. The Awards ceremony was so sweet and I don’t think James got enough credit for navigating his way through Ginger Hall following Hicky’s crash.
