- Finally, I have managed to get the North West 200 video sorted! So I hope you enjoy it.
I show you a close-up of my road Superstock bike and explain a few details. The weekend as you probably know didn't do to plan and I ended up in the hospital.
Check out the footage I have been sent, nothing too scary but not a great way to end my superbike race! Thanks for sharing.

It was a very strange NW200, some incredible racing mixed with some of the strangest decisions made by organisers but in the context of this video really glad it was nothing major for you James, all the best for the TT and looking forward to learning more about the setup of the bike. Take care sir!

Another awesome video, not the outcome I was hoping for, I’m sure that’s putting it mildly from your pov. Is it possible to mount a 2nd camera forward facing ? Edited and combined to be split screen would be absolutely top shelf. Have you considered expanding your business ventures to doing a turn key bike lease for people to come from abroad and basically rent a turn key race bike for events like the Manx and TT? As a racer I really struggle with the idea of going to watch but have dreamed and thought about doing it for yrs. Obviously logistically saying challenging is an understatement. The more I watch TT stuff the more I want to do it. Your attitude about just finishing the Dakar was perfectly in line with how I’d like to approach the TT. No aspirations of fastest newcomer or winning anything, but completing it would be epic or beyond amazing. I can’t say life changing or not until I did it, but I’m thinking probably.
Do you mean a second camera when I'm explaining the details? A lot of the time I am on my own filming, but will have a hand at TT, so could give that a try
@@jameshillierracing No I meant the 2nd camera forward facing pointed ahead and down the course showing the course as your seeing it. As apposed to the pointed at rider/rider movement and position view. Personally I think the higher up the better is usually the best view. And to clarify even better, I personally think that the forward facing one should be set up or considered to be the #1 or main primary view and the rearward one the smaller sort of picture on picture or secondary view. Hope that clarifies what I meant. No idea of the technical challenges to accomplish that. But if only 1 camera is possible forward facing down the track or road would be the one to go with.

Getting the onboard footage takes some time and the licences etc are a bit difficult. But I will at some point. 👍🏻

Yes. I and many others now use thumb brake. It’s easier to use on corner exit to control wheelie

Are you using yamahas for all your tt races? That was really bad luck jumping off at the end there sitting in 5th,look at it like this the bad lucks out the way now and you'll have all the good luck come tt time
