i think the muddy ground and wet ground would go together better if you used muddy ground as a base and wet ground as where the footsteps kind of churned up the mud. i think it would only work on bigger areas those to show kind of where less soldiers walk through the mud

I have a set of the Old Plastic Indomitus Terminators that I had bought for my Blood Angels. I've been thinking about re-using them as a Psuedo-Indomitus Squad for my Sons of Horus, and fluffing them as stolen suits, for later in the Heresy. Thanks for some ideas!

Great scheme and will definitely be using your tutorial! Just a note on the thinner, tamiya paints are laquer based so you're meant to use their tamiya laquer thinner. It's solvent based so very strong smell, but it's gotta be done!

My issues are really only centered around the oil paints. Acrylics don’t like oils, and will eventually chip away. Oil paints require harsh chemicals to do anything with, and both of those really turn me off of them. Especially if you’re using oils very early on in the painting process. And varnishing a model with Acrylic sealer won’t help either because-… it’s also an acrylic.

I found a broken Fyreslayer at the shop I went to this weekend and they let me have him. His latchkey grandaxe head broke off some time in the past so I'll be doing this to reattach a new axe!
