I'd really enjoy seeing a well armed and loyalist beastman guard conversion in the next video, especially considering the fact Beastman can be loyal in 30k/40k
Yeah, everyone forgets the loyal Beastmen. Then again they're kind of a "Rogue Trader/2nd ed" thing. It's very possible that the current Imperium would just declare Beastmen as unstable mutants as a blanket statement and exterminate them. Abhuman status is an arguable and subjective thing...
Thanks! It seems like this video is doing better than most of mine and I think you hit the nail on the head for what that is. There will certainly be more to come in this style though, although I can't promise they will all feature non-gw kits!

Beastmen are still considered abhuman as of a few years ago like Ogryn or Ratlings, it's not "old Rogue Trader" canon. Forgeworld put out Gor Half-Horn within recent memory.
Do you take the green stuff, press it into the torso with the head. Then remove the head to glue inbetween? Or do you just mash the green stuff with head and torso?
If you ever consider doing a part 2, I'd love to see how you handle the Vitrian Dragoons. Them and the Armageddon Steel Legion are my favorite Guard Regiments. And if I ever start an Astra Millatarum army, I'd do it all as one of those 2 Regiments.
Funny you should mention that. The dragoons would fit nicely in a Sabbat Worlds video. The only issue is that I cant think of any base models which have the scale mail needed. Any thoughts? Steel Legion are definitely a possibility as well, alongside ork hunters, hive militia, Chem Dogs, and Jopall Indentured Squadrons I am thinking.
If you want Steel legion I'd suggest looking at the Wargames Atlantic Raumjager kit in the deathfields range, they are very close to the old Steel Legion minis. In fact Wargames Atlantic cover a few of the older now nolonger supported regiments (and one of their kits can double as Mordian Iron Guard or Praetorians).
@josiahzabel8596 agreed, though having seen Anvils recent soft armour torsos, I have been thinking about those an option with the Anvil cloaks and fatigue legs for a more tactical take, there's no doubting the Victoria miniatures heads, broaches and knives are the better option though
@@AmnioticlyTanked I’ve wanted to do a squad of Vitrian Dragoons for ages, but I’ve been struggling to think of a base for their scale armour too. (Other than sculpting scales which isn’t an appealing option!)
One regiment I'd like to see is the Mordan Acid-dogs, a regiment that hails from a night world near to Cadia that produced the strongest acid in the Imperium. They are incredibly effective in subterranium and hive city warzones due to their underground upbringings, and specialise in the removal of mutants. Due to the close quarters they are often sent to, most regiments will be equipped with flamers. However, Acid-dogs are trained to be able to use every available weapon in the gaurd as a byproduct of scrounging from the minitorum and taking trophy weapons from fallen enemies. Their wargear is similar to that of cadia due to proximity, but has slight cosmetic differences (helmets are fitted with vision enhancement gear, fatigues are either short or have no sleeves and uniforms colors are a green/grey rather than tan.)
Can I just say how great these kitbashes are. This is what the hobby is all about, allowing yourself to be creative and try out different designs to make something original. Thank you for inspiring me again to kitbash some renegade guardsmen for my Chaos Cultist army. PS That Beastmen model is totally awesome, I hope I can be as creative with my designs.
I really like your Afriel strain guardsmen, personally I think the overdesigned armor of the Space Nam kit is too much for catachan/regular guardsmen but for the black box pet project regiment of whatever Ordos made them up, I think it works.
Thanks and I certainly see that, although to be fair anything beyond a white tank top.is overdesigned for a Catachan! I am also doing up 4 more afriels and gave a few of them the cadian helmet with optics from the IG tanks. I'll get pictures up eventually but it really helps push that spec ops vibe
My own Traitor Guardsmen, the Renegade Legion of Asphodel Prime, use a lot of beastman bitz (they're built from a mixture of Cadian, Beastman and Flagellant parts), so it was great to see such like-minded thinking going on with the Warherd of Khazrid-dur! That being said, I love the Rogue Trooper vibes your Afriel gives off!
Plenty of Sabbat Worlds Crusade options to choose from for sure, be they Vitrian Dragoons, Jantine Patricians, Volpone Bluebloods, or even the slag worker irregulars who fought in defense of Vervunhive on Verghast. What I really like most here is all 5 of these are practical to scale into a large force, so many of the youtubers doing kitbashs for random guard regiments base them off character models, or single peice per kit heads that you'd need for the whole army (usually from a third box set) making them impractically expensive, these are great, fairly easy, nice results and even the single kit peice you used was an easy sub from multipule sources. Really liked the Afriel strain trooper, captures the original conversion really nicely and the space nam armour is a great fit, extra bags and pouches if you spares run low are an easy source from say Anvil, which is a route I may go if I do them for the arms and weapons just to add those attachements that really show off their mysterious backers money at work
It really is one of the best sets around for kitbashing. So many fantastic bits and the flagellant bodies are perfect for conscripts or pilgrim conversions.
I haven't seen the full video yet, but I had to comment when I saw that you use the SpaceNam kit in this video- it's too perfect! I've been contemplating using the kit as my infantry foundation for a double dip 40k Catachan/ 30k Militia army for a few weeks now, but I think it's set in stone now as a project in my near future.
I'm usually pretty weary of using 3rd party kits, as to me many of them just don't "look" like warhammer models. Either the proportion are off, or the level of detail either way too much or too little. I must say though that Reptilian Overlords/Wargames Atlantic really knocked it out of the park with these dudes and I hope they put out more like 'em.
And they really are not that expensive... My only complaint actually is that there is no plastic command or heavy weapon upgrades for them, but you can buy the STLs if you have access to a printer.
@@AmnioticlyTanked Yeah, for 40k that's definitely a problem if you're someone like me who doesn't have a printer (yet) but when it comes to the militia list I'm not super concerned, kitbashing a command squad with the current kit should be barely an inconvenience, and the same can probably be said for replacing some of the cadians on the GW artillery bases, or even just picking up some basic artillery models and sticking some dudes next to them. What I'm most concerned about is buying a ton of them (100,150 models) and starting to see a lot of the same leg poses. Other than that, I love the kit (at least from what I've seen).
This is the first video of yours I have found, but As a Kill team player and huge Vorthos I love seeing things like this, because this gives me inspiration for new teams.
Well I'm glad the alog gods served it up to you! I really need to get into KT as well, and I think I would have a ton of fun with painting up smal squads
Thanks! I miss the old school white dwarfs where they had wacky and wild kit bashes and ideas. Maybe jts changed recently, but it seems like WD has really lost some of that creative spark recently.
Thank you! I prefer the more weathered/gritty look of the grimdark crowd, but I also really like bright super saturated and interesting colors as well. I also don't have a ton of time to paint + edit videos these days, so I try to go with quicker schemes that I am still happy to put on the tabletop!
Thanks! Had a bunch of fun doing this and I find that you can really go crazy when it comes to the guard. I might have actually already started working on my next guard kitbash this morning while waiting for this video to render...
Nice video, cool conversions. I'd love to see you build these guys up into themed kill teams or something. See how you play with the themes to fill out a squad.
Funny you should mention that, I already have 4 more Afriels on my painting desk right now. Only issue is I didn't take any video on my making them... Guess I'll just have to make a couple more.
3 Epsilon Eta was pretty neat actually - and the whole 'oops they died' thing just sounds like a great cover for them becoming an Inqusitorial unit or going renegade because of the distrust hurled their way.
FYI for anyone who doesn't know the base files/range is actually from an independent designer "Reptilian Overlords" he's has more of this style including full heavy weapons team's. Note though he obviously just sells the digital STL files. There's some authorised printer's but the main thing to be aware of is he's got a consistent scale for his minis so his parts should fit Wargame Atlantic plastic models. 👌
@@AmnioticlyTanked if he hasn't already put it up there's command squad's etc on the go. The one area I asked for but he mentioned might NOT be in the pipeline soon is count's as heavy infantry/storm troopers or what ever GW calls the glory boys these days.
Thank! One of my favorite parts of older editions was how much room there was to make your own regiments, and how encouraged it was by GW. I feel thats changed pretty dramatically in the recent years thoufh.
Do a couple of more using another Wargames Atlantic kit! My favorite of these were the Beastmen because I've made almost the same kitbash using a Catachan kit
Thanks and yeah, the catachan arms probably work the exact same way right? And definitely want to do some more with other WGA kits. They have a WW2 British infantry one coming out soon that would be perfect for some IG conversions!
Very impressive conversions, especially the sculpted hair. Have a box of these guys on the way and the inspiration from this video is going to improve my use of them. Thanks.
Thank you so much! Im quite impressed with this kit and how easily it can be combined with GW plastic kits. Any thoughts on what you are going to do with yours?
@AmnioticlyTanked I have their Cannon Fodder and Oooh Rah kits. The guns that come with the Cannon Fodder are terrible and the ones that come with the Ooh Rah kit can be a little too Aliens looking. The FN FAL look of the Spacenam guys are a pretty unique look so it will give me more options when I don't want guns that look like they're from Aliens (though often that's exactly what's needed). The helmets on the Cannon Fodder sprues look like they're 100% from the Expanse so I'm cultivating that look for games like Five Parsecs from Home and Aliens, Another Glorious Day in the Corps, the Alien RPG, and Infinity. The Spacenam rifles are going to be great for variety. Will probably use the hulked up bodies as gang members and dock workers during different scenarios for these games.
Nice convertin' chief! I'm particularly fond of the space goat as well. It's funny you mention burning out on five models. When I was doing these video for obscure SM chapters, every time I finished a model I was so fucking energized to jump straight into the next one. Different workflows work for different people I suppose. 😅
Full transparency. I think its because in the past all my videos have just been a step by step guide for what I did, where as this one I layered in a bit more lore, all of which I wrote myself. So if I'm being honest, I think stretching to improve my video quality is what was really the drain, but my hope is that by practicing the lore writing and summary skill over and over again, it will get easier as time goes on!
This is a GREAT video! I really like your painting tips for your unique units. Most painting videos have a list of 40 paints per model, but you are straight to the point and it comes out great. Looking forward to more of your stuff in the future.
Thank you so much! I also don't really touch 3d printing myself due to an apparent allergic reaction to the resin, so its awesome that you were able to work with WGA to put out such an awesome kit; Im looking forward to the damned as well. Any hope of getting some of your other bits out in either SioCast or Resin? There are some heads I'd love to get my hands on for some kit bashes
If you are referring to the same one I am thinking about, a I took a ton of inspiration from that article. For example the Afrial Strain trooper is HEAVILY inspired by the one that Andy Hoare did. Fantastic article and I wish WD still did stuff like this.
Great video, you took me on a trip down memory lane, I remember a White Dwarf article with rules for 3 Epsilon Beta and how cursed they were. Great use of the SpaceNam kit too, and I appreciate your demonstration of the Green stuff adjustments. Nicely done 👍🏻
White Dwarf 302 I believe! I really miss the golden days of WD where it was crammed full of wild hobby articles and experimental rules. Those articles really let peoples imaginations run wild and "expanded" the universe so much
This video was absolutely fantastic, I love seeing different guard regiments get made and painted. Btw that idea about the regiments of the Sabat worlds crusade sounds really interesting
Thanks! And that sounds like an awesome army. Wasn't there also another Elysian regiment that was experimented on to make them "super-soldiers? D-99 I think?
Thank you and glad you enjoyed enjoyed. I'm actually finding oils a bit of a pain to deal with these days so im moving away from them. Saying that though I'm currently working on a tonight video that will have some oils and enamels in it...
Very cool would love to see more Guard regiments to add some flavor back into the faction. I accidentally kitbasherd a pretty good rep of the Semtexian Bombardiers from the 2nd war of Armageddon using a Victrix Saxon body and parts from Wargames Atlantic cannon fodder upgrade sprue for the head and arms. did it mostly to use some left over parts but after I posted in someone mentioned that it looked like the Bombardiers
Thanks! I have another Tryants Legion video in the hopper for 40 conscripts I finished up about a month ago, Im just trying to figure out how to make it interesting as the conversion itself is pretty simple.
This was amazing and loved the story intro. Would you mind repeating where you got the chain bits for the penetary soldier? And do you think that you could use khorne blood reavers mixed in also or would the scale be off?
Glad you like it! Definitely added a bit more time to the production, but I think its worth it. Chains were from the Cities of Sigmar Flagellants kit and I think blood reaver bodies would work well with these arms. The Space 'Nam kit is a bit larger than the cadian kit, so I think the slightly larger reavers should work fine. Would love to see what you come up with if you do end up doing that kitbash!
Nice conversions all round, from a very versatile base kit. My favorite was the beastmen and I am looking at adding to my Victoria miniatures beastmen with some conversions of my own, in order to field a necromunda beastman gang.
These look amazing, ill have to look into getting around to the guard at some point. My idea is that it was a cadian regiment that has been reinforced with local troops whenever they had seen heavy losses to the point that over time the force has less actual cadians but maintains the dicipline and traditions of cadia while adopting garb and potentaly tactics of their reinforcements.
That was really cool! I'd love to see some 2nd/3rd War for Armageddon regiments done up, but I also think it would be super fun to take the giant black and white 2-page collection of all sorts of different IG regiments, some of them getting models over the years, most of them not, and seeing you kitbash Those together!
I have seen the Spacenam kit in my local store but did not buy it because I thought it to much catachan jungle type. But seeing you use them I know that I want to get a box myself. The kitbashes look great!
I always like mixing smaller models whenever I use Cultists in my Iron Warriors army, I use Skitarii and Cultists now, but I also would like to add Traitor Guardsmen or just normal Guardsmen, to really show that they've just been conquered or picked up by the IW warband.
Awesome kitbashes! Wargames Atlantic kits need more love on TH-cam. I'm actually experimenting with making my own beastmen/abhuman guard army! They'll be a penitentiary/indentured regiment, and MOSTLY loyal to the Emperor, using leftover and worn out vehicles and weapons the munitorum manages to scavenge for them. Keep making content like this, man!
I love this kind of videos specially when good tips on alternative sources of kits and bits from other more cheaper sources than GW👍 great work new sub here
Welcome to my little corner of the internet and thank you! I'm also going to keep on trying to bring more 3rd party bits into my builds as there are so many good ones out there!
nice conversions and tutorials, i think that by using the tempestus guys that replaced the storm trooper kit would work with the last mini too as they have many similiar parts
Enjoyed this series a lot. Very cool conversions. The prison trooper is my favorite one. I think a final lighter highlight color would make them "Pop" more. Bill
I very much enjoyed this video and subscribed to what I am sure will be hours of enjoyment.good job on the conversions.I too am a fan of war games Atlantic kits.I don’t know why anyone buys the overpriced GW kits.
when doing something fine like that first tattoo I prefer to use a needle, water the paint down to nearly jusy water and sculpt a refrence to the tattoo I want out of greenstuff. takes more time but gives you more details in the end.
I am making my own that are a mix of Cadian bodies, Scion limbs and a jump pack and medieval helm to make a scifi knight look for my homebrew regiment.
This was an awesome video! I loved the story behind each regiment. The third edition codex had so much flavor and lore. I would love to see a video like this on the 2nd Armageddon war or the Sabbat World Crusades. Codex Armageddon had a few examples on different guard regiments, especially the hive gang militia and ash wastes stormtroopers.
There are so so so many examples of cool regiments from the 2nd/3rd Armageddon war that I feel are under-represented on the table top. Definitely need to do a video in the future. And agreed on the flavor and lore of the 3rd ed codex. I really miss that creative energy that 40k had at the time.
Quick note: The Imperial Guard regiments don't just use lasguns as their standard issue. They also, or unless the lore has been trampled on again, at least used to have regiments armed with autoguns as their standard weapon. These autoguns are bullet shooting equipment of various differing designs you'll often see the bad guy factions wielding. It's understandable for people not to know this due to just the bad guys having them in plentiful supply, but all I'm getting at here is that you can totally just run the spacenam standard guns as they are. Your choice of course, but personally I like the more hard-bitten regiments to wield autoguns for their rougher look.
Oh for sure and hopefully I didn't come across that all guardsmen needed to have las guns. I left the penal legionnaire's standard for a reason. I do thinknthough then when using 3rd party models, putting las guns on them helps set them apart as guardsmen clealry. Good call out though and totally agree. Nothing wrong with all autoguns all the time
Thank you! And do really like the Kallistans as well, hard to beat a regiment of 80's metal-heads. As far as traitor guards, I am already eying up bits for a one of Chaos forces of the Sabbat Worlds Crusade...
I have another video up on how I did a blood pact type stormtrooper, but I 100% that a traitor forces of the sabbat worlds crusade video needs to be done. th-cam.com/video/-mfwKb3pI_Y/w-d-xo.html So far I'm thinking of the following, but need help coming up with the last 2: - Infardi - Blood Pact - Sons of Sek
@AmnioticlyTanked the Fortis Binary and Urdesh both changed hands during the war, a before and after could be cool if you were thinking of doing the guard regiments to. The Zoican Horde would be cool.
I have a small Tempestus Scions kill team that actually use ungors instead of the gors. I just think the Ungors have so much more flavour then the gors and their little legs attach almost perfectly with the scions torsos if you cut them correctly and use a littld fill. They look super goofy but i love that about them
Would you do ballpoint of felt-tip? Id be worried that ballpoint would scratch the paint off instead of the ball rolling? Granted I generally use some pretty garbo ballpoint pens.
Would be cool to bring everyone together were we all get the same kit and see what we make out of it. Doesnt need to be another box of these guys anything really in a affordable price range would be cool
@@AmnioticlyTanked I was thinking squad/kill team. But if yah do a poll and people say single I wont mind XD. Either organized through patreon or facebook with updates on the channel once were all done. I just know if we do the squad someone's gonna make a human Centipede or something horrifying XD
@@connorshaw-case6030 so I was actuallybjust flipping through my kill team compendium, and it looks like an Astra Millitarum kill team is made up.of 2 fire teams, which are each either 7 guardsmen or 5 tempestus scions. I have a range of Imperial Beastmen with tons of options including a Command Squad and Medics under the name wulfsheademiniatures

Welcome aboard! I think you are going to be seeing more things that check all those boxes in the near future!
I love your paint style. I love that it’s imperfect and gritty.
Thank you! I prefer the more weathered/gritty look of the grimdark crowd, but I also really like bright super saturated and interesting colors as well. I also don't have a ton of time to paint + edit videos these days, so I try to go with quicker schemes that I am still happy to put on the tabletop!
this is awesome my friend. glad you did some more Guard minis
Thanks! Had a bunch of fun doing this and I find that you can really go crazy when it comes to the guard.
I might have actually already started working on my next guard kitbash this morning while waiting for this video to render...
@@AmnioticlyTanked awesome. hope to see your take on the ChemDogs sometime.
@@Matt-md5yt if I do an Armageddon based video. They will certainly be in it.
Beastmen loyal guards are very underrated we need way more
I have a range of Imperial Beastmen with tons of options including a Command Squad and Medics under the name wulfsheademiniatures
I will need to check these out!
Agreed, they will certainly make it into a future video in this style
These are all awesome! Excellent work.
Thank you!
3 Epsilon Eta was pretty neat actually - and the whole 'oops they died' thing just sounds like a great cover for them becoming an Inqusitorial unit or going renegade because of the distrust hurled their way.
Fantastic stuff! Definitely a video I'll come back to when I get my hands on the new wargames Atlantic kits.
Great video, love to see full squads of these
The Kallistan one is definitely one of my top favorites of the ones you made. There is just something about it that I just absolutely love.
Gray does indeed go great with orange 👍
FYI for anyone who doesn't know the base files/range is actually from an independent designer "Reptilian Overlords" he's has more of this style including full heavy weapons team's.
Note though he obviously just sells the digital STL files. There's some authorised printer's but the main thing to be aware of is he's got a consistent scale for his minis so his parts should fit Wargame Atlantic plastic models. 👌
Thanks for raising this and I should have called this out in my vid. Really hoping he does more stuff with them in the future.
@@AmnioticlyTanked if he hasn't already put it up there's command squad's etc on the go.
The one area I asked for but he mentioned might NOT be in the pipeline soon is count's as heavy infantry/storm troopers or what ever GW calls the glory boys these days.
love seeing custom guard regiments so much
Great video. Always good to see people drawing on the flavor older editions used to endorse outside of just painting Cadian different lol
@@AmnioticlyTanked Pretty much the same yeah. That sounds like a great idea!
All very rad! Thank the Emperor for Wargames Atlantic, their kits allow for so many more options when it comes to Imperial Guard.
@AmnioticlyTanked
I have their Cannon Fodder and Oooh Rah kits.
Allways fun to see Traitor Guard. Well Done :)
Thanks! And there will certainly be more to come
Nice convertin' chief!
I really try to simply my schemes to the point that I am happy to put then on the table, but also they are relatively quick to do!
Great video! I really loved the afriel conversion! Simple but very effective.
Really awesome there is a fantastic article in white dwarf 286 I think with these kinds of conversions, love it, fantastic video
Those articles really let peoples imaginations run wild and "expanded" the universe so much
@@AmnioticlyTanked absolutely. It really stoked the fires of imagination. I'm sure I have it somewhere in the archives. Keep up the good work!
One of best custom guard ideas I've seen! Great job!
Thank you!!@
This video was absolutely fantastic, I love seeing different guard regiments get made and painted. Btw that idea about the regiments of the Sabat worlds crusade sounds really interesting
I like the Afriel Strain, I made a Force of these guys myself out of Elysians back in the day.
Thanks! And that sounds like an awesome army. Wasn't there also another Elysian regiment that was experimented on to make them "super-soldiers? D-99 I think?
@@AmnioticlyTanked Yes from one of the old Forge world books, D-99 were modified by the inquisition, and wiped out to a man iirc
great stuff especially as I was considering kit bashing some militia for HH
Perfect timing it sounds like!
It's hard to pick a favorite, since all of them look pretty fine :) if I had to I would probably go with the Kallistans.
If you'll do a second part l'd love to see your take on the templaris militia (essentially chaos cultists of the emperor)
Incredible job. The albino trooper was by far my favorite. Camo was perfect suited for the skin tone
Thanks. I'm actually working on a small kill team of then right now
Very cool beastmen, something in his pose makes him look alive.
Excellent tutorial as always! Those are some sweet looking guardsmen. And not an oil wash in sight! Keeping those guys for part 2!
Thank you and glad you enjoyed enjoyed. I'm actually finding oils a bit of a pain to deal with these days so im moving away from them.
Saying that though I'm currently working on a tonight video that will have some oils and enamels in it...
I really like the penal legion conversion, I don't know why why but it gives me SC2 New Folsom vibes
I really enjoyed this and the tyrant's legion videos, hope you do more of them
Thanks! I have another Tryants Legion video in the hopper for 40 conscripts I finished up about a month ago, Im just trying to figure out how to make it interesting as the conversion itself is pretty simple.
Great conversions! 😊
Glad you like them!
14:13 The hair reminds me of Not Important from Hatred😭🤣
The prisoner guard look so flippin cool! All of them are good though!
Cool video, I have some of these as stormtroopers in my guard army great kit, keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Those pale guys look awesome, they remind of the parasite unit from metal gear solid
Hmm, Im shamed to admit that I never really got into MSG, will need to do some googling
@@AmnioticlyTanked the parasite unit are creepy cool, could be seen as grimdarl
I love this kind of videos specially when good tips on alternative sources of kits and bits from other more cheaper sources than GW👍 great work new sub here
Welcome to my little corner of the internet and thank you! I'm also going to keep on trying to bring more 3rd party bits into my builds as there are so many good ones out there!
nice conversions and tutorials, i think that by using the tempestus guys that replaced the storm trooper kit would work with the last mini too as they have many similiar parts
Fun video. Im glad to see you used bits from different lines. Also i have been lookinh for a good orange paint. So that helps alot.
Glad it was helpful!
Nice video.🍻 I am glad to see the SpaceNam stuff being used.👍 As soon as I saw that set I wanted to use to make an Armageddon Ork Hunter army.😄
That was definetly one of the regiments I was thinking of doing for this video actually...
Cutting towards yourself isnt just habit but gives you more control same reason chefs and people who work with clay cut towards themselves not away
when doing something fine like that first tattoo I prefer to use a needle, water the paint down to nearly jusy water and sculpt a refrence to the tattoo I want out of greenstuff. takes more time but gives you more details in the end.
I am making my own that are a mix of Cadian bodies, Scion limbs and a jump pack and medieval helm to make a scifi knight look for my homebrew regiment.
What are you using for the jump.pack and helmet bits?
This was an awesome video! I loved the story behind each regiment. The third edition codex had so much flavor and lore.
I would love to see a video like this on the 2nd Armageddon war or the Sabbat World Crusades. Codex Armageddon had a few examples on different guard regiments, especially the hive gang militia and ash wastes stormtroopers.
There are so so so many examples of cool regiments from the 2nd/3rd Armageddon war that I feel are under-represented on the table top. Definitely need to do a video in the future.
And agreed on the flavor and lore of the 3rd ed codex. I really miss that creative energy that 40k had at the time.
i loved this, i will definetly look into making some odd reinforcement reserves to slap on the table
Love it, odd and random regiments mixed together is what the Guard is all about imo
Quick note:
The Imperial Guard regiments don't just use lasguns as their standard issue.
Nothing wrong with all autoguns all the time
Great work 👌
Thank you so much 😀
Awesome video!
Hard to pick a favorite, but the kallistans were great.
If you do this again, maybe do chaos guard regiments?
Thank you!
And do really like the Kallistans as well, hard to beat a regiment of 80's metal-heads.
As far as traitor guards, I am already eying up bits for a one of Chaos forces of the Sabbat Worlds Crusade...
The Sabbath World Crusade-regiments would be nice to see. Especially how to create Blood Pact-units.
I have another video up on how I did a blood pact type stormtrooper, but I 100% that a traitor forces of the sabbat worlds crusade video needs to be done.

So far I'm thinking of the following, but need help coming up with the last 2:
- Infardi
- Blood Pact
- Sons of Sek
@@AmnioticlyTanked Excellent!
@AmnioticlyTanked the Fortis Binary and Urdesh both changed hands during the war, a before and after could be cool if you were thinking of doing the guard regiments to. The Zoican Horde would be cool.
Fantastic Adriel Strain soldier!
Thank you. Probably mine favorite honestly
Big fan of the Albino guys. Universal Soldier vibes.
Nicely done. I really like the last one best with the beast man a close second. Great job though on all.
Thank you!
I have a small Tempestus Scions kill team that actually use ungors instead of the gors. I just think the Ungors have so much more flavour then the gors and their little legs attach almost perfectly with the scions torsos if you cut them correctly and use a littld fill. They look super goofy but i love that about them
Goofy is good.
Thanks for the tip and Ill need to try it out. I think I have some Ungors kicking around in my pile of shame somewhere.
@@AmnioticlyTanked the Guerilla operations advanced tactical squad aka G.O.A.T.S are always ready to grow and add new members.

For the barcodes, May I suggest trying a ballpoint pen instead of a brush.
I really like this idea a lot. Just need to figure out how to coordinate. Were you thinking something like a single model? Or a squad/kill team?
@@AmnioticlyTanked I was thinking squad/kill team. But if yah do a poll and people say single I wont mind XD. Either organized through patreon or facebook with updates on the channel once were all done. I just know if we do the squad someone's gonna make a human Centipede or something horrifying XD
@@connorshaw-case6030 so I was actuallybjust flipping through my kill team compendium, and it looks like an Astra Millitarum kill team is made up.of 2 fire teams, which are each either 7 guardsmen or 5 tempestus scions.
So maybe a fire team would be the perfect place to start! Will need to put a little more thought into it but I like where this idea is headed.
@@AmnioticlyTanked ah youtube not letting me know you commented. That sounds like a brilliant idea. My nephew would definitely be down. Im already imagining themes 😅
