Such a great video - the title says it all. Many who are so quick to criticize lose sight of the fact of where we are in the adoption curve of EVs. Can you image car-tubers back in the day when Henry Ford was pushing out the <only color> black Model A's?? Gosh, who's going to give up the reliable horse and buggy for these new fangled contraptions? Roads are crap; range is terrible; where do you get gas; reliability is terrible, etc... can you imagine? It's a wonder the horse and buggy disappeared. (mea culpa - happy owner of a Tesla with 30K+ miles)

None of the charging apps have the mach e in them! do I need an adapter? how do I know where I can charge this mach e car? I've already watched a ton of mach e videos yet none of them explain step by step what to do!

I'm wondering if they really replaced your battery the first time around? They may have found a bad connection, fixed it and just gave it back to you as a remanufactured battery. Doesn't Tesla have extended warranties on the batteries that you can buy? Certainly, you don't expect free discounted power forever, do you? With that many miles, maybe it's time for a new car.

I live in Utah (wide-ranging seasons/road conditions) and have Michelin Cross Climate 2's on multiple vehicles. I also love to drive and go on road trips, and these are the best all-around tires I've ever owned. Unless you're putting rubber on a high-performance sports car or off-road vehicle, I highly recommend these tires for every other use case.

Parisian here Just to clarify the price scheme. If you're not a resident then it's 0,29€/kWh + 0,55€/15min on 7kW charging post such as those ones that you can find indeed everywhere throughout the city (more than a thousand points). There's fewer (about 200) 22kW charging point but they support CCS/CHAdeMO/Type2 and the price is 2,23€/15min Finaly there's 3 "charging hubs" in the city comprised of 7 times 50kW charging points and the price is 0,38€/min There's two problems I think, the price structure is bonkers, with very different prices from one charger to another that makes it difficult for new users. Second problem is that there's still a lot of incivility with people parking without charging. Nonetheless, Paris is one of the best equipped city with curbside EV chargers, so that's good. Of course there are other companies than Belib that offers charging in the city but Belib is the main one on "slow charging".

I got one back first week of April and had it Fri,Saturday and Sunday. On Monday Kia dealer opened up and walked in said I’m swapping out and going back to gas.

Just used one yesterday and it went flawlessly.

Also, Mach E high-voltage battery replacement is about 40-50k. Tesla is usually around 10-15 k. Something not a lot of people talk about. Matters if you're planning to keep the car a while, or drive it 50k miles per year. But I guess most people don't drive that much, so it won't usually matter. I guess I just got my answer on why most people don't mention this 😅

3 modes Fiat 500e: Normal, Range (has one pedal braking) and Sherpa (love that name) is a super economical mode.

I believe VW own Electrify America so Audi don't need any agreement with Tesla. I just drove a BMW i4 in California renting for 19 days. You don't need Tesla charging.

Most of the Tesla owners who purchasing or using alternative charging adapter are due to employers offer free campus charging, and they are not NACS standard. In fact I have yet to notice a single company in my area providing Tesla standard charging station.

If you’re paying cash you demand a new battery pack not a recycled battery pack. I can understand using recycled packs under warranty.

I would have a heart attack if I took my car in for a repair, and be told the cost for the repair, would be 13 thousand dollars ! Doesn't a TESLA cost around 60 thousand dollars, or more, when you buy a new one?
