The ONLY thing I can literally think of is that the old lead I found that fits the DC5V cable hole is the wrong cable or is not working but it seems to fit fine? 😕

Those are actually two different questions! To control Loopy Pro using external pedals, the pedals need to function as a MIDI controller, meaning they must be able to send MIDI messages-ideally, CC (Control Change) messages. According to Roland’s website, the RC-300 supports this. I’ve made a video explaining how to set up a MIDI controller with Loopy Pro; here’s the link: th-cam.com/video/USXsHcefh_Q/w-d-xo.html Sending audio from Loopy Pro to the RC-300 is a different task. In this case, Loopy Pro would act as a synthesizer. I’d recommend connecting an audio interface to Loopy Pro and routing its output into the input of the Boss RC-300. Of course, no one assumes you’ll build a template from scratch during a performance. It’s better to design your own template beforehand and just use it. You can save a template as a project and have a bunch of different templates for different songs, for example. As for the hiccups, I just didn’t mask the auto loop detection. This approach is definitely only suitable for home jamming. On stage, it’s better to use either a floor footswitch or record under a metronome in headphones. You can route the loop monitoring along with the metronome through a separate output of your audio interface. That way, you’ll hear the full mix and metronome in your headphones, while only the mix (without the metronome) is sent to the audience. Loop Pro is not a demanding application. Essentially, it is just recording audio signals in a specific order. However, Loop Pro can host many different plugins from the App Store. Some of these plugins could be very demanding on the CPU, especially if they are used extensively. For example, some complex synthesizers. Therefore, it is all very individual. Also, if you have a large library of samples, pay attention to storage. For example, I don't use samples. I use Loopy Pro just as a looper, so 64GB is enough for me on my iPad. I use Loopy Pro with an iPhone 11 and an iPad Air (with the M1 chip). Both work great for my needs. I’ve also been using the iPad 9th - it’s great as well. I didn’t have a chance to try out an iRig controller, but it should work the same. Just make sure that it sends an OFF MIDI signal when you release the pedal. More on that here: th-cam.com/video/USXsHcefh_Q/w-d-xo.html

Однако, на фоне кнопок Morningstar они действительно громкие и тугие 🙂 Кстати, я купил M-VAVE CUBE TURNER PRO, но пока не могу понять как настроить его так, чтобы он по проводу подключался к Chocolate и давал бы 2 дополнительные педали. А с Morningstar получилось

Thanks! Actually, they produce another floor controller, but it’s more like a page-turner and has softer pedals. It’d be great if they made a mix of both so it could be used with condenser mics
