- I've discovered the Slammer app by @klevgrand paired with velocity pads, it sounds great! Although basic finger drumming skills are required.

Gear I am using in this video:
- Line 6 HX Stomp - geni.us/MJkHI
- Apple iPad Air (64GB, 5th Generation) - geni.us/PN7A5sT
- AKAI Professional LPD8 - geni.us/XmvzPbk
- UGREEN USB C Hub - geni.us/s7Hhz
- Guitar: Furch OM Custom (they call it Rainbow) with a cedar top and mahogany body. It has a slightly deeper body and an open-pore finish. The closest model from their standard series is the Furch OM-CM (affiliate link): geni.us/2GfUPeA

Those finger drumming skills = wow. You make it look so easy, amazing. Definitely gonna check out that app.
Hey I got the same setup! Slammer + LPD8. I also have the BeatBuddy pedal, but lately I find I'm using the LPD8 more often because it's so much more natural to improvise with.
Still so much to learn ! thanks again Max
Well done Max👍
Pretty amazing!🤩 How little u need is impressiv! Well Done!
Thank you! 😊
Thanks Max ❤
Drums sound dope!
Thanks, mate! BTW, they've released a new plugin called One Shot. It had those drums and a ton more samples th-cam.com/video/uEr2vBi64Ik/w-d-xo.html

Is there a way to wirelessly sync to iPads or two iPhones running Loopy Pro so they will follow the same tempo? When you mentioned it works on the iPhone 5s it made me think how cool would it be to just dedicate an iOS device to each instrument, I play a few different instruments and deciding which instrument gets what effects and which looper to send it to is always a brain challenge, if each simply has their own iPhone that would solve pretty much everything. Thanks for the super informative and inspiring looping videos.
Thanks! To be honest, I've never tried such a thing, but I suggest that yes, you can do it. I believe it's called Ableton Link and it's built into the Loopy Pro app
@@max_yar_guitar Thanks, I think that will work!
hi max, may the vocal harmonizer apps run on loopy pro and be controlled by a midi controller pedal ? if you dont mind, please make a video tutorial about it. :D
Yes, the most popular harmonizer app is Bleass Voices. I don't how it works with the pedals, it is worth trying, thanks for the idea :)
Nice. I always Love how you blend guitar with beats. I’m going to check out that slammer app. Can I use it with any device that has pads? Like a akai mini play you think or should I use the device you have?
Thank you! Yes, you can use it with any MIDI controller including AKAI mini play. It just feels better with MIDI controllers which has velocity/sensitivity (AKAI mini play has, as far as I know)
Max very inspiring. Do you think slammer is more usable than Digistix2? Love that acoustic guitar.
Thanks! It depends! They are quite different. I like Slammer for its velocity sensitive samples. However, Digistix has a built-in sequencer
Great video Max. Does the app have Cajun drum samples? Cheers
Thanks! Nope, but they have the list of all the samples on the official web site in the user manual. And they're about to release the next drums plugin for iOS - OneShote - that's already available for PC/MacOS. I hope there'll be more instruments, because I really like the variety and quality of their samples.
@@max_yar_guitar Thanks, have you seen any drum apps that have Cajon samples? Cheers
Hey Max, is there a keyboard version of the AKAI Professional LPD8? I'd like to have keys and these pads.
Hey! Yes - AKAI MPK Mini. But AKAI isn’t the only one making controllers like that. For example, there’s the Arturia MiniLab 3 or the M-VAVE SMK-25
hi ! I would like to know if I can run this with an iPad 6th 32g . ( use it with : audio interface Arturia minifies 2 / acoustic guitar / akai MPK mini and maybe a foot controller too ) for fun use only ... thanks from France .
Hi! Loopy Pro supports any Apple device that can run iOS 12 or newer. From what I know, the iPad 6th generation is compatible. You can double-check directly on your device by visiting the Loopy Pro page in the App Store - under “Compatibility,” it will confirm if your device can run the app. Hope this helps!
@max_yar_guitar thanks for your reply.loopy pro bug and lag sometimes du to the oldest device so i sold the 6th gen iPad and ordered an iPad air 4 with 256G for 200 bucks (Brand New). so loopy pro work perfectly now.(Pardon my english i'm french dude !)
Nice! What kind of an iPad is that and how is the latency? Can you describe your setup in detail?
Latency is absolutely fine. I don't know the exact ms, but it feels good. Maybe the reason is that I use direct monitoring
My setup for this video:
Morning Star MC8 (floor MIDI Controller) connected via MIDI cable to HX Stomp.
My guitar is connected to the HX Stomp.
HX Stomp is connected via a USB cable to a USB hub (Ugreen)
The AKAI LPD8 MIDI controller is also connected to the same USB hub.
The USB hub is then connected to my iPad Air (5th, 64gb) using the USB Type-C port
@@max_yar_guitarthank you!
Digistix drummer.
Very tasty mate
Thank you 😋

If your relocating to the UK you can come to bristol and have a room for £550 a month no contract. all in. Living with musicians
I am, thanks! A room might be a bit crowded for my family. But I'll be happy to chat - drop me a line info@loopymax.com
Cheers
Sorry, that was the wrong email. Here's the right one - hello@loopymax.com
How did you get that LoFi Vibe Guitar Sound?
I've used my preset on HX Stomp. But I believe you can achieve a similar tone using a combination of iOS plugins. I think of CHOWTapeModel, BYOD and some autopanner like Panflow or True Pan
@@max_yar_guitar thank you, i will try
