Glen is such a fascinating guy! He and Ruby have had a wonderful life. Think about what they have done together, and all after he turned 50. Thanks for a great story. interesting details about the adoption of her kids. Guys need to keep in mind that Glen with a good income was able to create so many more opportunities for all of them than the guy trying to make it on $1,500 from a monthly social security check. A little goes a lot further in the Philippines, but come with more than the minimum to survive. Come with enough to live well. Looking forward to the next episode.

Nice to hear the story, but wouldn’t you say yourself that he did everything the completely opposite & wrong way you would recommend? Can’t believe he bought land immediately & was with a married woman. Values seem to be gone these days. The other thing I notice in most stories & even all vloggers online is that they all have single mums with kids. Why is there never any stories of expats with younger single women with no kids & they have their own together? Also about them taking them back overseas & being successful? Getting harder to listen to all these people when it seems that they only recommend relationships that are only single mums & say to only keep them in Philippines or you will have them leave you eventually or cheat on you….

The land area of the Philippines is small and yet there are 118M Filipinos and obviously is now being over-crowded. Having said that, I hope all foreigners except those who are married to the Filipinos should consider leaving the Philippines and go somewhere else like Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia or Laos of which these nations have more territorial frame to retire or live.

Hello there, thank you for visiting my home province Iloilo. I would recommend to book a Grab ride from the airport since Grab is already available in Iloilo. I always ended up paying 600 flat rate for a cab before. However when I knew that Grab is available it is very convenient and the the rate is much lower just roughly around 400.

Great videos Rob, I’ve learned a ton thank you. I wanted to comment on the living arrangement you and the family now have. I personally grew up in Los Angeles but I was the odd duck that was in a 3 generational household, my maternal grandmother lived with us and helped raise me. I think that’s one of the greatest gifts I was given as a child to have her love and wisdom at my disposal. It helped make me the man I am today so good for you in seeing that and having Chrissy’s dad and wife live there with the 3 of you.

Good interview for sure Rob. The part that is always a little hard for me is he has 4 adult kids. You also Rob have 3 adult kids. I have 3 adult kids also. They always call me but very seldom come to see me. I am the only one who makes the effort to see them. I sometimes laugh because they will never know the difference of me living in the Philippines and seeing them twice a year 😊
