    Vince said once maximum effort should be 85% and not 100%. But with 10-8-6-15 on the third set on rep 6 he advocate to use 100% effort on weight. Do I understand something wrong or how was it meant from Vince?

    Commenting 2 1/2 years after the video was released, the dumbbell sets for this actually don't have to be 'fixed.' They can be adjustable, as long as you have enough plates for the multiple weight jumps.

    "Gatekeeping" and the opening talk about feedback chatter on lifting technique (which is just part of posting lifts publicly; you can ignore or sort out the productive comments as you see fit) is too broad a term that distracts from the real issue of specifically copyright bullying (whether technically correct and just shortsighted on their part, or a genuine abuse of the system and legal bullying). A 20th century history based channel encounters this issue somewhat differently from a current-day review channel, which in fitness is what separates channels like this one from more conventional fitness content.

    This exercise along with the Gironda/Scott dips are INCREDIBLE. Nothing else stretches and makes my pecs contract like these do. I've pause benched 350lbs raw and all I got from it was big front delts. I literally did my first set of these after watching several videos. Using a rep cadence of around 1-2 second positive, and 4 second negative - I got 13 reps with 95lbs. I weigh 220lbs. I have never felt my chest contract so hard. The Gironda dips are a close second. I did purposely start very light on this exercise because I A. am not concerned with ego lifting, and B. don't want to hurt my shoulders being stupid. I have no doubt in the next couple months I'll see some serious gains from these two exercises. Also, the doms I got from that one set was literally equivalent to when I was 13 getting into lifting for the first time and doing 3 exercises for 3 sets each - ALL sets to legit failure. Omg, I think back now and wonder how I wasn't sick I overtrained so much because from the first time I ever touched a weight I lifted until I could not move it anymore. Wish I could start training again at 13. I'd have been a monster by 18 lol.

    Today's 2" x 4" is actually a nominal thickness of 1.5" x 3.5". This change occurred in the industry after the golden era bodybuilders were training. Maybe an insignificant difference, but do you think people should use an actual heal raise of 2" or just go with a 2" x 4" you buy at the lumber yard which is 1.5" thick?

  • @michelrood2966
    @michelrood2966 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Bill has a thing called genetics. The advocating of training like him to get the same triceps is ludicrous and misinformation people. There are simply too much variables. Find out what works for you, don't imitate someone elses program or training style because you'll most probably be disappointed
