At the end of the day, the show is about robots destroying each other. It is an expensive hobby, but if you're fine with destroying somebody else's robot, you best be prepared to have the exact same thing done back to yours (or worse). Sportsmanship does go a long way. If I were in control of a robot and my opponent clearly isn't moving, I'm backing off. There's no glory in beating a dead horse. Hopefully I did enough carnage before that to satisfy people's craving. The fear is that if you let people tap out, too many of them will tap out before the match is truly over. We've seen a lot of really close fights where I'm sure one or both would have hit the button if such an option existed, only to make an unbelievable comeback. In some ways, I view BattleBots like gambling. Don't put anything up you aren't willing to lose. Beyond that, it's up to each individual team to decide how they want to behave ; but if you're not the merciful type you have no right to expect mercy to be shown to you.

What even more annoying is the people loved this because this was "karma" for what shrederator did to Sharko. And I can only understand that if not so many bots did this. Tombstone, S.O.W, Hydra, Bite Force, Beta. And people loved them, and yet, it's only shrederator they're attacking.

Shrederator was already on its lid, and for all intents and purposes out with 2:34 left on the clock. All those shots in the corner were superfluous.

They're still trying to spin the shell, so they're still trying to fight. They can't exactly complain about being hit again if they were still running their weapon at full tilt. If they wanted to end the fight early then they should have switched the weapon off to make it clear they were out.

I get that there's a point where you want to call uncle, but often those robots are going to need a complete rebuild before they are battle ready again.

I've just watched the episode and it wasn't really in the nature of battle bots, however I do believe that the team captain is just a kid, 19 I believe. He was deep in the middle of the fight and was clearly in a trance. I think the main problem is his teammate, the one in the corner who tells him "hit them again". In this instance I don't blame the captain but that teammate who is blood thirsty.

You should practice the hard words like "miserably" or spit out marbles.

If Biohazard was in modern battlebots, his weapon would be upgraded to a launcher/flipper like lucky's. Or maybe even cooler, Carlo might make it both a lifter AND a flipper at the same time!

Ethan has a couple of redeeming qualities that played against the team in his absence. Ethan is arguably top 5 in drivers. Matt Vasquez, Mike (Witch Doctor), and Daniel (Minotaur) the bottom line is I think Rip tide wins.

You have a really good point it's really expensive to repair BattleBots and people just go in and take more hits and more and more and when people tell them to stop they still do it like riptie he always goes for extra hits when people tell him that they had enough
