Cobalt by KO Blip by KO Monsoon by KO Whiplash by JD Switchback by KO Idk Double Tap I guess Minotaur by KO Also unrelated but is there a discord server for the channel?
65-33 Lucky vs *Cobalt:* At 3-0, Lucky is guaranteed to make the tournament. To contend for the #1 seed though, it has to get past Cobalt, a fellow tournament contender with an excellent ground game and a vicious spinning disc. To try and counter Cobalt’s array of forks, Lucky comes into this match with… the same set of wedgelets it always uses. There is little doubt in my mind that Cobalt is going to tear apart the underside with its cutting disc. *Blip* vs Banshee: Both bots are at 1-2. One is almost guaranteed to make the tournament (after all, its sole victory is against the defending champ). The other is in desperate need of a win to have a chance at making it. This fight goes down to flipping ability, maneuverability, and ground game tools. Based on their last 3 fights, Blip seems to have the edge in all 3 of those aspects. A win for Banshee requires it to out number Blip in number of flips successfully made for a JD win, and that’s highly unlikely. *Monsoon* vs Death Roll: At 1-2, Monsoon needs to win here to guarantee a spot in the playoffs. Death Roll is in the same situation, albeit with two better wins. To prepare for Death Roll’s gung-ho approach, Monsoon added a Bombshell-esque wedge beak to exploit its lack of ground game. One thing to keep in mind is that Death Roll has rarely been tested against a wedge attachment, and aside from Quantum, none of its encounters worked in Death Roll’s favor. Monsoon to win the weapon exchanges and send Death Roll bouncing around the box. Tantrum vs *Whiplash:* Due to pedigree, both bots are likely going in the tournament as long as they latch one really good win to their name. In Tantrum’s case, it’s against Hydra, and in Whiplash’s case, it’s against Monsoon… which hasn’t had the best season so far. Anyways, both robots are busting out their fork setups in the battle for low ground. If you ask me, I think Whiplash has the better ground game tools for this. Hijinx vs *Switchback:* This is Switcback’s first ever test against a horizontal spinner. With that, we get to see its heavy armored wedge configuration for the first time. At 2-1, Switchback needs to win this to guarantee its spot in the bracket. At 1-2, Hijinx needs to win this to even have a chance at making the bracket, but the way it performed during its last two matches don’t really inspire a lot of confidence. *Slammo* vs Double Tap: Yes yes, Slammo lost to a rookie in Terrortops, but Terrortops was equipped with a forked lifter and other ground game attachments. Double Tap has no ground game attachments and, due to safety issues, isn’t equipped with a sri-mech. If Slammo’s lifting mechanism can withstand the hitting power of Double Tap’s spinning bar, then Shlammow should get its oven mitts under Double Tap and flip it onto its back for the win. MAIN EVENT: Minotaur vs *Witch Doctor:* At 3-0, both bots are guaranteed to make the tournament, so they are reusing battle damaged components from their previous fights. As far as ground game goes, they’re ditching it. It all goes down to how they fare in the weapon to weapon collisions. Considering how well Witch Doctor fared against the one other dominant drum bot in the competition, I’ll pick it.
Last Week: 5-2 Total: 71-27 Alight. It's time to see where bots will land in the bracket. It's gonna be interesting! Lucky V.S. Cobalt: Cobalt by KO - I think this fight will be an easy one for Cobalt. The ground game and weapon power should be no problem and Cobalt should be able to place higher in the bracket than Lucky. Blip V.S. Banshee: Blip by Unanimously JD - This is a no-brainer. Blip has the experience to outflip Banshee and clinch a good spot in the bracket. Monsoon V.S. Deathroll: Deathroll by KO - I know that Monsson typically has the tools to win the ground game, but Deathroll doesn't seem to care. This crocodile will wreck the rains of Monssoon and take care of its weak spot. Tantrum V.S. Whiplash: Tantrum by KO - This is a close one for me. While ground game may be evident in this one, I think Tantrum can barely win with damage here. We'll see where they land in the tournament. Hijinx V.S. Switchback: Switchback by KO - As long as Switchback can absorb some hits, it should be able to control this fight with ease. Slammow V.S. Double Tap: Double Tap by KO - I don't know about this one. I guess I go with DT based on damage, and the fact I can't trust Slammo winning fights. Minotaur V.S. Witch Doctor: Witch Doctor by KO - This fight may determine who gets the first seed (I hope it's not Riptide). The battle for damage and driving is gonna be tight. But, I believe WD will knock a wheel off of Minotaur as it did before, but it will not back down this time.
4-3; Didn't end the regular season the way I wanted. However, there were some good fights this week. Can't wait for the tournament to begin next week. 💪 What are your about the bracket reveal?
Predictions record 63-35 My Predictions: We finally made it to the final episode before the tournament. Where the last remaining robots are here to make their final tournament statements! Here we go! Cobalt KO: Unfortunately for Lucky, it has not been remotely tested yet and Cobalt will be all over Lucky because of it. Even with Matt Olsen’s driving and if they use their vertical spinner configuration. Blip KO: Blip is lower to the ground, more reliable and has better flipping power compared to Banshee. Plus I think Banshee will die after a few flips. Death Roll KO: Death Roll is much more durable, and has both a faster and sharper weapon compared to Monsoon. Death Roll also needs to attack the sides and behind of Monsoon. Whiplash JD: Whiplash will return to it’s former self and both outdrive and control the fight against Tantrum by lifting it multiple times, keeping its front at Tantrum, pushing it around and unleash a few hits with the spinner. Switchback KO: Switchback should use the wedge so it can be able try to prevent Hijinx from spinning and it’s weapon will hit Hijinx enough times so that it dies on it’s own. Slammo KO: Slammo can prevent Double Tap’s spinner from spinning and needs to put Double Tap upside down cause Double Tap can’t self right. MINOTAUR! KO: The battle for the #1 seed! You don’t get any better than this! Daniel Freitas has had his mind on this fight since the last time they faced off. He will be more laser focused in this than the Cobalt fight and will need to have the performance of his life. One important thing to know, not that it matters is that Marco Meggiolaro wasn’t there the last time these two faced off, now that he’s back I think he could play a big role on helping Minotaur win this one. Minotaur seems to have the upper hand in every category compared to Witch Doctor in terms of weapon power, speed, driving, aggression, etc.
Cobalt KO Blip UD: lol Monsoon UD: Simple, reach advantage Whish SD: Whiplash wins also on a reach advantage and because they were finally looming dialed in last match, and Tantrum could just explode again Switchback KO: Two underperforming bots, except Switch ack doesn't die randomly so it wins by default Double Tap UD ig Minotaur UD: This is probably gonna be real close but if the first minute of their first meeting was anything to go by, Minotaur should win face to face most of the time Best of luck to you all🤞
Oh man, this has to be THE most hyped episode of the season, and hopefully so far, cause I'm super excited for the bracket reveal, aka *THE* best non-fight segment in battlebots history. I'm really hoping we get some epic matchups there so my expectation level is way high right now. Anyway, here is who I WANT to win......... Lucky Blip Deathroll Tantrum Switchback* Double Tap *I like you Orion Beach but I'm done with hijinx. Season after season you guys have failed to show why we should take hijinx as a serious contender. Please, if you cannot upgrade this bot in any way like HUGE, retire this bot and go back to skorpios I didn't include the main event because Idc who wins and it's really hard to pick an actual winner. These are 2 undefeated elites, and all I care about is the entertainment value I get out of this epic fight, I want to see these two fight to the death and whoever wins will definitely deserve the #1 seed. Also when we get to the bracket episode, I will no longer do the "who I WANT to win," I will pick my winners based on my bracket predictions. So I'm switching to "who I THINK will win" after this episode, and post my entire bracket prediction once the bracket is revealed (just like last season)
I agree with you about Hijinx. it's an ambitious design and it's something different, but it needs to be either retired or seriously overhauled in a way that gives it a more compact weapon and makes it faster to drive.
I def agree about HiJinx, Orion is a master behind the drive but HiJinx is just down horrendous. Give Orion a competent bot to drive and he will dominate. We saw that with Season 3 Skorpios.
@@Dubstepper Orion was literally the reason why Skorpios is my most respected bot. Without him, Skorpios would have been in pieces against icewave and Hypershock, but no, Orion underrated driving was what led him to an impressive 3-1 record that season. And not to discredit Zach lytle, he was what made Skorpios my 2nd favorite after becoming a tombstone killer, but Orion is so much better than how he's doing right now against hijinx. If he can go back to Skorpios, maybe Skorpios can find a way to deal with verts better, cause Skorpios fight against ribbot really put a sour taste in my mouth
1-3 Wah wah wah waaaaaaaaah Oh well, but at least we got our bracket reveal and holy shit I'm so excited for it. Quick thoughts...... - shatter made it in? Wow, surprising - end game vs tantrum.... again...... - mammoth, shreddit bro, valkyrie and triton 2-2 didn't make it - I'm loving the 4th quadrant, really hoping deathroll (or whiplash) can eliminate the 4th seed, should be satisfying - beta 13th.... again - bloodsport vs lockjaw rematch - my most respected bot looks like he's in trouble - really want lucky to do well, but looks like he's in trouble again - battle of the brits!!!!!!! I'll be making a full bracket prediction so go check it out if you're curious. And also the bracket episodes are 2 hours & 30 minutes long!!!!!!!!!!!
What happened to play in matches? Other than that, this bracket has a *LOAD* of potential dream matches. Riptide vs. End Game, Riptide vs. Hypershock, Sawblaze vs. Cobalt, this looks like its gonna be a slugfest. Who do you think is gonna win the giant nut this season?

I really hope Minotaur wins but, if it does I want it to win a absolute slugfest. Last seasons fight looked like it was gonna be a all time great until it got ruined by the upper deck doing the funny.
@@ryanamburgy2791 I agree, shatter felt weird to be in. I really thought the horizon loss hurted them, and their win wasn't even impressive. Some could even argue emulsifier or big dill 1-3 were better. Switchback 3-1 is definitely weak, I mean I don't think you need to put them WAY down as you said, that's fair. Kinda surprising malice is lowest 3-1 but I can see why. If you're curious about my full bracket prediction, pls check it out
@Jonathan F big dill got absolutely S C R W E D imo. Sure it was 1-3, but to me the mad catter fight proved it belonged there. That was big dills best performance ever. And he was dominating skorpios until he broke down
Just asking. Are you making a video for a review and prediction of the bracket after the episode airs? For this next one I think you need to factor in performance as well in addition to strength of schedule as well as record. To improve upon last year's bracket review

Wait, FS really in?
Also, im also doubt Cobalt will win cause Lucky might use that giant spear and win
@@HazukiTheWitchy A pre-fight picture has revealed that Lucky won't be using it's spear.
@@ThomasFisher-jr6bn Oh F***
Well, TheDominusIgnis gonna disappoint
Currently 64-34. I say Cobalt, Blip, Monsoon, Whiplash, Switchback, Slammo, Minotaur.
Cobalt
Blip
Deathroll
Tantrum
Switchback
Double Tap
Minotaur but super close
I really hope Minotaur wins but, if it does I want it to win a absolute slugfest. Last seasons fight looked like it was gonna be a all time great until it got ruined by the upper deck doing the funny.
Any thoughts on the top 32 bracket?
@@jonathanf2392 shatter shouldn’t be in and switchback should be like 7 spots lower
I have endgame beating sawblaze for the championship
And he was dominating skorpios until he broke down
How will you react if all of this episodes predictions are wrong?
Ngl I was worried that this was a spoiler until whiplash won 😅
I think blip tantrum death roll cobalt hijinx double tap and Minotaur will be the last bots to get the dub.
10 more correct picks. Cmon robots 💪🏽
Cobalt
Blip
Monsoon
Tantrum
Switchback
Double Tap
Minotaur
Just asking. Are you making a video for a review and prediction of the bracket after the episode airs? For this next one I think you need to factor in performance as well in addition to strength of schedule as well as record. To improve upon last year's bracket review
@@nicholascahyadi2770 yeah I do plan to have another bracket video. I’m gonna be very pressed for time from now until next Thursday, so we’ll see what happens. Gonna have to dig deep 💪🏽
@@barangoal9056 looking forward to it
Nick, your 1-3. Nick the Godfather will have to punish everybody but whiplash.
bfdi mouth!?!?!?!?!?!
I got 6-1 but I didn’t post it
Current record 74-24
Total record 80-25
I’ll give you 5-2, so the 6-1 with a -1 late penalty 💪🏽
