Learning from the mistakes they made last tournament, Bots FC has equipped Shatter with forks designed in preparation for whatever Riptide throws at it. On the other end, Riptide is coming off a monster regular season, with half of its wins being against much more credible opponents. I have great doubts about how much of an effect those forks will have on this rematch, If Shatter manages to take down Riptide, it would be hailed as the biggest tournament upset in history. All it needs is a few good penetrating swings… Lucky vs *Hypershock:* While Lucky has the better win-loss ratio, Hypershock has the more credible wins. Hypershock’s wins against Whiplash and even Claw Viper are leagues ahead Lucky’s win against Triton… which isn’t even in the tournament. As far as ground game goes, Hypershock has this one in the bag. The only time Lucky’s been tested in the ground game department was against Cobalt, and we all know how that turned out. Hypershock, on the other hand, managed to beat out Whiplash in the battle for low ground with apparent ease. Because we are in the bracket now, I will do who I THINK will win, so these are my picks from my full bracket prediction............ Riptide Hypershock End Game Copperhead Witch Doctor Lockjaw HUGE Madcatter If anyone is curious who I WANT to win, it's mostly the who I think will win picks because it would be really cool to see my bracket be correct, tho I know it will be wrong. Although I am proud that I predicted tantrum to go all the way to the finals last year. But for anyone specifically, I will be rooting for lucky, skorpios, and anyone facing the 4th seeded bot, meaning I wouldn't mind if they break my bracket. Lucky finding a miracle to beat hypershock would be amazing and skorpios also finding a miracle to beat huge would be great as well. This bracket and the matchups we’re beginning to start are insane! 32 teams enter but only 1 will come out on top and win the Giant Nut! It’s go big or go home from here so let’s get started on the right side this time around! Riptide KO: I want Riptide to absolutely destroy the ever living crap out of Shatter worse than Captain Shrederator to prove both that they are giant nut favorites and that Shatter didn’t belong in the tournament. Riptide may be hated for life if they do that but I don’t care. Hypershock KO: I think Will Bales is the better driver in this matchup and will unleash lots of damage to Lucky and disabling it. Lucky is not good against vertical spinners as well. EndGame JD: I think EndGame will make it 3 in a row against Tantrum, especially if they can take out their self righter. However, I see this going the full 3 minutes. Copperhead KO: Because Copperhead’s spinner is a drum it could damage Rotator’s rear forks but that’s just me, Copperhead will also try to get the wheels and attack weapon to weapon and win the exchange. Witch Doctor KO: Witch Doctor is more durable and it’s weapon spins at a faster rate than Jackpot’s. Jackpot will be picked apart. Lock Jaw JD: I’ve underestimated LockJaw this season. LockJaw will use the same game plan the last time they faced Bloodsport, use the wedge when it’s spinning and attack when the weapon is not up to full speed. HUGE KO: First time HUGE faces a Saw bot, I don’t know if Skorpios can even reach the top of HUGE and I bet HUGE’s spinner can chew the wheels and rip Skorpios’ saw clean off. I assume that Lock Jaw is probably going to go with that big rear plow configuration, which has worked very well against horizontal spinners before. I think this will be an extremely close judges decision where Lock Jaw ekes out a win on control and aggression) HUGE over Skorpios by JD (HUGE is my pick for the Giant Nut, but I am actually kind of worried about this matchup. Skorpios has the potential to bully HUGE around the box and win on control and aggression points if the fight goes to the judges. however, I will give HUGE the edge based on how great his weapon has looked this season) MadCatter over Claw Viper by KO (a fantastic season from Claw Viper unfortunately comes to an end here. as we saw from the Hypershock fight, Claw Viper is still quite vulnerable against a fast and powerful 4 wd vert)
because when claw viper got his prove it fight against hypershock, he failed, he miserably failed. It wasn't even a close fight, hypershock dominated his ass. Madcatter is just as fast as hypershock with a powerful vert as well so why can't it go the same way???? Plus this is a rematch from the gigabyte champion bracket so......... no reason to believe why it would go any different. Claw viper lost to black dragon twice too. You could argue that madcatter isn't as good as hypershock and claw viper did well against ribbot. That's fine, you have your opinion, and anything can happen in the battlebox. Maybe madcatter have issues again and claw viper takes advantage, who knows????
@@ryanamburgy2791 yeah this rematch was under the radar, not a lot remembered that this is a rematch. End game vs tantrum is a rematch, I hope you already knew that. Also bloodsport vs lockjaw is a rematch as well (don't know if you noticed as well) so we're getting 3 rematches tonight, interesting. And just because claw viper is better than last season doesn't necessarily mean he's better enough to beat madcatter. Look at end game, he struggled in s4 and lost to minotaur. Then he gets fully upgraded fixing his reliability issues to become a giant nut winner and STILL loses to minotaur in s6, despite being the #1 seed. Again, anything can happen in the battlebox. I'll come back here after the episode airs and one of us will be saying "I told you so" to each other

(first off...I think it's cool that they matched up the two former champs in the first round...good idea to give other bots more of a chance to win their first Giant Nut. as for the prediction: I love Tantrum, and I am really rooting for them to pull out a win here after their tough season thus far. however, I don't see any reason why this will go any differently than their last two matchups where Tantrum got rocked)

(Copperhead has looked a lot more dialed in than Rotator has this season, and a horizontal spinner is usually going to have a lot of issues against a drum spinner regardless)

(probably the toughest fight of the night to predict. I assume that Lock Jaw is probably going to go with that big rear plow configuration, which has worked very well against horizontal spinners before. I think this will be an extremely close judges decision where Lock Jaw ekes out a win on control and aggression)
HUGE over Skorpios by JD
(HUGE is my pick for the Giant Nut, but I am actually kind of worried about this matchup. Skorpios has the potential to bully HUGE around the box and win on control and aggression points if the fight goes to the judges. however, I will give HUGE the edge based on how great his weapon has looked this season)

(a fantastic season from Claw Viper unfortunately comes to an end here. as we saw from the Hypershock fight, Claw Viper is still quite vulnerable against a fast and powerful 4 wd vert)

because when claw viper got his prove it fight against hypershock, he failed, he miserably failed. It wasn't even a close fight, hypershock dominated his ass. Madcatter is just as fast as hypershock with a powerful vert as well so why can't it go the same way???? Plus this is a rematch from the gigabyte champion bracket so......... no reason to believe why it would go any different. Claw viper lost to black dragon twice too.
You could argue that madcatter isn't as good as hypershock and claw viper did well against ribbot. That's fine, you have your opinion, and anything can happen in the battlebox. Maybe madcatter have issues again and claw viper takes advantage, who knows????

@@ryanamburgy2791 yeah this rematch was under the radar, not a lot remembered that this is a rematch. End game vs tantrum is a rematch, I hope you already knew that. Also bloodsport vs lockjaw is a rematch as well (don't know if you noticed as well) so we're getting 3 rematches tonight, interesting.
And just because claw viper is better than last season doesn't necessarily mean he's better enough to beat madcatter. Look at end game, he struggled in s4 and lost to minotaur. Then he gets fully upgraded fixing his reliability issues to become a giant nut winner and STILL loses to minotaur in s6, despite being the #1 seed.
Again, anything can happen in the battlebox. I'll come back here after the episode airs and one of us will be saying "I told you so" to each other
