Big dill got absolutely robbed. That’s my only real issue with the bracket. You can’t tell me that it’s performance against mad catter wasn’t enough to show it belonged in there. And it was dominating skorpios till it broke down and showed it’s true power against free shipping. But for the tournament I’ll just say GO MINOTAUR

I know this happened 6 months ago now, but I love how you correctly picked the winners of the second round of 32 bracket, Riptide, Hypershock, Endgame, Copperhead, Witch Doctor, Lockjaw, HUGE and Madcatter
The bracket seems generally fine, I can nitpick a few things (like ribbot seeded above jackpot despite jackpot having a better record and them beating ribbot) but it's fine. The elephant in the room is shatter, which confused the hell out of me. I thought they were done after the horizon loss and their one win wasn't even impressive. And 4 2-2 bots were rejected while shatter wasn't???? Hell, even some 1-3 like big dill was arguably better than shatter. It's like the p1 & hypershock debate in s5, some said hypershock was chosen over p1 because he would put on a better show against hydra than p1. But here, I can't see how shatter can put a good show against riptide, all I see is riptide dominating shatter. Triton or valkryie vs riptide would be better anyway. Even mammoth vs riptide would be fun to watch. Anyway, we have our 32 bots left standing, who will win it all??? I already made my full bracket prediction so pls go check it out if you want to
Yeah I get the idea that shatter could, in theory, put in a good show most of the time, but not when he’s thrown against riptide. That didn’t justify his inclusion 🙄 Adam had a bit in Reddit that I saw the other day where he admitted they were surprised as well 😂
To be fair, one of the main reasons Claw Viper lost to Hypershock, was because they were lacking their back tires, due to lack of spare parts in time, which caused them to oversteer a lot, and not be able to properly possition themselves against Hypershock. If they go 100% against MadCatter, i really can see them winning that fight, due to better ground game and really good driving.
@@greatpurplecroctopus they technicly may get the win, the same way that Overhaul did over Starchild. They are so fast, that i believe they can grab to the wheel, and not be hit even once.

Eh maybe. It still was a semifinalist 2 seasons ago AND it got to the quarters again (4 time in 5 years). Not many bots are that consistent. Surely there's still title potential there, just need a change and a little luck along the way
@@ColeslawAndTheBarangoat better mobility is what Hydra needs tbh the waiting game does not favor him during these era of forks and wedgelets Jake needs to be more aggressive in his driving and Hydra needs a faster drive system or better armor for durability because lets be honest Hydra's armor is literally next to a toilet paper when it gets hit by a Vert
I personally think they put Witch Doctor in the softer bracket. They seem to be really trying to help witch doctor. The semi finals last year seemed kinda rigged to me. And what Tantrum woman said about beating the flipper bot this year makes them legit is total crap. These are not the same robots as last year becuase they made changes that hey l;earned from the previous year. The lady on Tantrum team seems kind of abrassive to me
I'm not a fan of Ginger, I agree with what you said about her xD I wouldn't say Witch Doctor necessarily has an "soft" section. Obviously their match against Jackpot was one-sided, but that's to be expected form a 3v30. Huge and MadCatter might prove tough opposition for them, and Lock Jaw could be tricky
@@ColeslawAndTheBarangoat "Tough opposition" you mean huge completely dominated witch doctor lol. Huge is getting really soft brackets against all of those low-ground verts instead of horizontal spinners (not that there is many horizontal spinners left lol)
I'd have Fusion at 31 and 2-2 Triton at 32, they had inconsistencies but a strength of scheduele of 7-9 isn't bad, and 2 knockouts pragainstactically perfect counters and a more or less convincing win to Glitch, a once 7-0 bot (although 0-4 this season) is enough in my books. This is of course biased because I really want to see them do well, but I guess I'll hear people's thoughts on it
Triton is as one of the few that I thought had a good case for one of the last seeds. It was down to him, big dill, emulsifier, and MAYBE free shipping 🤔
Riptide should’ve been the 1 seed for the following reasons. Minotaur vs tantrum, Domination from Minotaur, Minotaur vs Free shipping, Total domination from Minotaur. Minotaur vs Cobalt, Total domination from Cobalt then Minotaur got lucky. Minotaur vs Witch doctor, The judges didn’t want a toxic reaction from the crowd again so they gave it to Minotaur when it should have been Witch doctor. On the other hand complete domination from Riptide in every fight. 4 fights four knockouts in under a minute.
Respectfully disagree. There was nothing lucky about Minotaur's win against Cobalt, he had to dig deep and once momentum turned he did well. The WD fight, while I do agree that the judges may have leaned Minotaur's way because of the history, I do also believe he had a legit case to win that match. For Riptide, one of those wins was the one-hit wonder against Glitch, and one was against low-tier Captain Shrederator. The strength of schedule numbers speak for themselves too. Maybe if that was closer or even, but the differences were too much to ignore.
I do agree that Minotaur had a tougher schedule than Riptide and I admit that I was impressed by Minotaur's durability. However, the only time I was impressed by Minotaur's offense was against Tantrum (who had a garbage season). Riptide did get lucky against Glitch (who had a Trash season). Both had 2 Gimmie wins, Minotaur had the 1-3 Tantrum and the 1-3 Free shipping. Riptide had the 0-4 Glitch and the 1-3 Captain Shrederator. The two key wins for Minotaur (Cobalt and WD) were tougher than Riptides two key wins (Madcatter and BD). However, I still can't get over the fact that Riptide dominated all 4 fights in under a minute. My placement for the seeds would be 1. Riptide 2. Minotaur 3. Witch Doctor 4. Endgame I put Endgame over Hydra 5. Hydra because Endgame beat Hydra 6. Sawblaze Last Season and Hydra beat 7. Huge Sawblaze. 8.Cobalt 9. Quantum
17:33 Coleslaw: he’s already beat him once in the past Endgame: mate, you forget about the golden bolt? 21:42 Coleslaw: He’s already beat witchdoctor once… Endgame: THE GOLDEN BOLT MATE
what a boring bracket you filled out here, Nick! jeez! lol I went a little bold with my picks and I have HUGE over Cobalt for the final. got Ribbot making the semifinals as well
I mean if huge is designed for verts, he could face one almost every round. That’s a very plausible final path 😂 I could see cobalt beating SawBlaze and Minotaur. But I could also see him losing to Monsoon, idk 😂
@@a_uman7782 I just had a gut feeling....Ribbot is seriously underappreciated by a lot of fans, I feel like! I definitely nailed the HUGE and Ribbot picks....we don't need to talk about the Cobalt making the finals pick :D
Quantum had Emulsifier, while Huge had Shatter. We all know the one that really deserved to be in top 32. Their team itself spoke about it. So, swapping seedings because Huge had 3 opponents making the tournament makes no sense.
Yeah swapping out shatter for someone else would even the number of tournament opponents between quantum and huge at 2-2, so then realistically I’d keep quantum above huge. I wasn’t sure how to factor in potential changes like that so I just didn’t 😂
Looks like both your bracket and mine ended up pretty busted… but that’s ok, I like some unpredictability!! I definitely underestimated Huge this season, because where was this version of Huge in earlier years?? It’s looked so mediocre in the past I failed to see its true potential.
I think that whether you look at strength-of-schedule record I think there's no denying that I think at least some of the box that went for know that may not have been as good as strength-of-schedule look really really good this year like huge. And I mean look tantrum had a good strength of schedule but they were awful terrible this year. I mean if you went by strength of schedule alone tantrum would be top 10 and they have looked no where close
Personally, I hate playing into rematches, makes for a very boring bracket. The more chaos the better. I have no idea what that drama with riptide could be, but that would suck bc I have minotaur beating riptide in the final
I filled out my bracket today, I have end game winning against hydra in the final, with it beating tantrum, copperhead, Hypershock, and witch doctor on the way there Edit: I just realized how similar our brackets are our right side was exactly the same
I had heard about the controversy around the Copperhead fight during the regular season, but I didn't know what round of the bracket or the opponent. Once the bracket came out I had to make an educated guess, and I failed spectacularly xD
I think actually its part of the design of intimidation that CH wanted to avoid the weapon, to try to out flank, but due to anti gyro effect Pizza bot is actually more maneuverable and got out flanked himself, so it kinda went perfectly to plan for how the bot is designed.
@@ColeslawAndTheBarangoat Shreddit Bro should have won Shreddit Bro-Ominous. 3-1 with 1 SoV > 1-3 with 2 SoV because 4 > 3. OK, I would give Ribbot a play-in spot, but if Ribbot and Emulsifier were to fight, who would win?
Yea don't understand how RIPperoni is behind both Copperhead and Claw Viper when they had a much tougher schedule than both of them and beat Copperhead easily. Don't think Shatter belongs anywhere near the top 32 they either were dominated in fights or even when they weren't the bot struggled to drive all season why give them a spot. How about give it to Shreddit Bro who figured out their issues over the course of the season. Or Mammoth. @@ryanamburgy2791 To me the Shreddit we saw against Overhaul would beat Mammoth and Triton which is why I would put them in. Which I have my doubts if they will as still have yet to see them take on a true top tier spinner. Mad Catter and Black Dragon sure they are both very good but I don't put them on the same level as Endgame, Minotaur, Cobalt or Witch Doctor.
@@ryanbates3319 Yea but even with a 3-1 record they still easily deserve a higher seed than Clawviper who's wins all came against 1-3 bots. And Copperhead who were beaten in a matter of seconds by ripperoni. Also not sure how Ribbot gets a higher seed than Jackpot even though they have a worst record and lost to Jackpot. Only way I can justify that is Ribbot had a harder schedule and dominated against Skorpios who easily beat Jackpot.
Honesty I hate it when people bitch about the seeding, you can't change it so quit your boo hooing. But I do think they got a few seeds wrong, like Riptide, honestly if they were the number 1 seed a lot and I mean a LOT of people would be bitching. I would have loved to see Huge where Hydra is, would love to see Quantum as number 5 or 6. Would have loved to see Cobalt where sawblaze is and sawblaze where endgame is. my opinion tantrum doesnt desserve to be in, but i will give them the benefit of the doubt because they are the champion and they have beaten hydra, who is the fourth seed,
I think Riptide will win it all, although I'd like to see how it can self-right if it flips over. If Hypershock executes perfectly, maybe it could sneak around the side but if it even catches the edge of that weapon, it's over. Black Dragon has beaten Minotaur, Tombstone and Icewave, but Riptide annihilated it in seconds. Aside from hitting Shrederator when it was prone and some of the yahooing after matches, I've loved watching Riptide's fights. Riptide and Minotaur would be a wild final.

The lady on Tantrum team seems kind of abrassive to me
I'm not a fan of Ginger, I agree with what you said about her xD
I wouldn't say Witch Doctor necessarily has an "soft" section.
@@barangoal9056 and valkyrie
My placement for the seeds would be
1. Riptide
2. Minotaur
3. Witch Doctor
4. Endgame I put Endgame over Hydra
5. Hydra because Endgame beat Hydra
6. Sawblaze Last Season and Hydra beat
7. Huge Sawblaze.
8.Cobalt
9. Quantum
Minotaur beat the defending champion. That was the deciding factor between the two. If Hydra beat Tantrum, they would've gotten number 1 again.
17:33 Coleslaw: he’s already beat him once in the past
Endgame: mate, you forget about the golden bolt?
21:42 Coleslaw: He’s already beat witchdoctor once…
Endgame: THE GOLDEN BOLT MATE
…I may or may not have forgotten an extra match or two 😂
@@barangoal9056 gotta tell that to the guys down under. Maybe they’ll be generous and give you a nice pair of sunglasses 🕶️
Riptide vs Hypershock is just a bogus prediction
what a boring bracket you filled out here, Nick! jeez! lol
I went a little bold with my picks and I have HUGE over Cobalt for the final. got Ribbot making the semifinals as well
I mean if huge is designed for verts, he could face one almost every round. That’s a very plausible final path 😂
I could see cobalt beating SawBlaze and Minotaur. But I could also see him losing to Monsoon, idk 😂
Ribbot semifinals was an amazing call
Yeah this year was a shitshow xD I shouldn't have stopped doubting Huge at the QF stage. Didn't expect such a lousy showing from Witch Doctor xD
The only change I would have made from you is to have ribbot over skorpios due to their fight
Shit good point. I guess I could’ve had jackpot 28, ribbot 29, Skorpios 30 🤔
I would move cobalt uo because his only loss was to minotaur and if cobalt would have selfrighted he would be 4-0.
cobalt also had pretty easy opponents besides minotaur though
I think that whether you look at strength-of-schedule record I think there's no denying that I think at least some of the box that went for know that may not have been as good as strength-of-schedule look really really good this year like huge. And I mean look tantrum had a good strength of schedule but they were awful terrible this year. I mean if you went by strength of schedule alone tantrum would be top 10 and they have looked no where close
Yeah balancing the two factors isn’t easy. Very subjective thinking too no matter which one you give more weight to 🤔
Personally, I hate playing into rematches, makes for a very boring bracket. The more chaos the better. I have no idea what that drama with riptide could be, but that would suck bc I have minotaur beating riptide in the final
I think they want the robot fight against for BB bias
I filled out my bracket today, I have end game winning against hydra in the final, with it beating tantrum, copperhead, Hypershock, and witch doctor on the way there
Edit: I just realized how similar our brackets are our right side was exactly the same
Okay good, maybe half my bracket isn’t too crazy then 😅
why in the world do you say hypershock will win against riptide, they literally lost painfully in the fight nights.
I had heard about the controversy around the Copperhead fight during the regular season, but I didn't know what round of the bracket or the opponent. Once the bracket came out I had to make an educated guess, and I failed spectacularly xD
Why is no one talking about how Hydra SHOULD NOT be that high?
How low would you put him? I think it would be hard to keep him out of the Top 8 at a minimum.
@@ColeslawAndTheBarangoatProbably around 7 or so, that loss to Tantrum drags them down a bit
Endgame beat Tantrum two time before this tournament
I see riptide win to the semi
Ripperoni beat copperhead by luck 💀
No he didnt
I think actually its part of the design of intimidation that CH wanted to avoid the weapon, to try to out flank, but due to anti gyro effect Pizza bot is actually more maneuverable and got out flanked himself, so it kinda went perfectly to plan for how the bot is designed.
Shreddit Bro should have gotten in instead of Ribbot.
I strongly disagree. He may have had a better record but his performances were awful. And to be fair to Ribbot, they justified their inclusion.
Or Mammoth. I mean I can understand giving ribbot and Fusion low seeds as they had brutal schedules and put on some great fights.
If ripperoni didn’t have stability issues in its first fight it would have easily gone 4-0. Easily best rookie this year
shreddit absolutely not. Mammoth or triton should have been in over shatter
@@ryanamburgy2791 To me the Shreddit we saw against Overhaul would beat Mammoth and Triton which is why I would put them in. Honestly though it doesn't really matter at all as any of the bots that could get the 31 seed would get killed in seconds against riptide as much as it hurts to say as they are the bot I least want to see win the nut.
@@wisewolftony overhaul got robbed imo. Also shreddit looked horrible in its other 3 fights
Would have loved to see Cobalt where sawblaze is and sawblaze where endgame is. my opinion tantrum doesnt desserve to be in, but i will give them the benefit of the doubt because they are the champion and they have beaten hydra, who is the fourth seed,
Why dosen't Tantrum deserve to be in. Also Riptide isn't the 1 seed due to a worse Strength of Schedule than Minotaur
I just have a feeling Riptide will falter and lose to Hypershock
I think Riptide will win it all, although I'd like to see how it can self-right if it flips over. If Hypershock executes perfectly, maybe it could sneak around the side but if it even catches the edge of that weapon, it's over.
Black Dragon has beaten Minotaur, Tombstone and Icewave, but Riptide annihilated it in seconds. Aside from hitting Shrederator when it was prone and some of the yahooing after matches, I've loved watching Riptide's fights. Riptide and Minotaur would be a wild final.
@@AlmostEthical Minotaur would probally have to beat Sawblaze and Hydra/Whiplash tho
@@brandonsedge7527 My card has a rematch with Cobalt, though it will need to avoid being tipped over by Sawblaze to get there.
@@AlmostEthical Yeah Sawblaze i think we win then lose to Cobalt who will win the whole thing this year
Honestly Group 2 is disgusting. Literally any of them can take it
Idk, I don't give much of a crap about the bracket since there isn't anything anyone could do about it.
Riptide is seeded 10 places to high at least, bad sportsmanship should be rewarded with a low seed regardless of fight record.
That’s not how the tournament works, sportsmanship has nothing to do with seeding, if you do good, you get a high seed that’s it
@@studious_yt97 Define 'do good'. Last season Skorpios had one dominant win against Blade and two very close main event split decision 'losses' (they were good enough performances to be considered wins) and they got to fight for the 32nd seed. That trashed any confidence I have in the selection committee.
@@Jonnyonthespot123 A. That doesn’t mean riptide deserves a lower seed. And B. It’s still a one and 2 record for Skorpios, sure it was a win, but blade is not a very good robot, so a veteran dominating a struggling rookie isn’t all that impressive at all
The Bull will suprise every1 this season remember my words !!🖤🖤🖤🦬🦬🦬
The only surprise would be if it lost. No one is surprised by Minotaur's wins because it's been the most dominant bot for years, ever since Bite Force left the comp.

I've got Minotaur vs Huge in the final with Huge winning. If Huge can beat Skorpios it's likely vertical spinners all the way which Huge is set up to beat. What can Minotaur do against Huge? Huge wins the whole thing
@@Jonnyonthespot123 I had Witch Doctor beating Huge. It will be a game of cat & mouse as huge stays in the centre, turning around while WD tries to get around the side.
