    I recently bought a used 2010 Club Car DS with 12” wheels with no lift and the front left tire barely rubs at full turn. Do you think adding a brand new left spring would help with the slight rub on the front tire or am I better off buying new shocks/putting a block to lift it slightly?

    Really appreciate all the work you put into making sure bushings are replaced and that things like the steering, pedals etc are nice and tight. It was cool to watch you machine the shafts and other holes in previous videos. I would love to someday drive an AC that has had the same amount of care put into it as this one and see how much better it feels compared to our fleet of unrestored ones that we use for various things on the farm here in northern Iowa. Also thanks for the vids. I’ve been binging through the entire playlist you put together on this tractor. I have a later WD that they put the WD 45 transmission in in the factory. I will definitely reference some of these videos in the future when I have to take things apart. Especially the starter one! Thanks again!

    I just rebuilt one of these and the governor was not connected. I am trying to utilize the governor again as the g226 runs an irrigation pump and the pipeline it draws from gets air in it sometimes and i dont want the thing to fly appart if this happens. Id like to know if you or anyone in the comments know if when the motor is off with the governor set in its slowest position is the carburetor set at wide open throttle? Also at 7:26 your right hand is on the linkage that connects to the throttle. Do you know what direction it travels when opening the throttle? Like if you manually moved that linkage to the front of the motor would that increase or decrease the rpm? Thanks! Nice build.

    • @sparksfireandbalingwire8467
      @sparksfireandbalingwire8467 หลายเดือนก่อน

      With the engine shut off, the carburetor should be wide open. If I remember correctly, pulling the lever toward the back of the engine increases engine speed.

    • @sparksfireandbalingwire8467
      @sparksfireandbalingwire8467 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Cam is the original that was reground. Wound up being .380 lift and 284 degrees of duration. I'm not sure on what max lift would be, but I would imagine pushrod angle will quickly become an issue on these as lift increases.
