Ported and ready for racing!! 🤣 I don't blame you though. Every little bit helps Jason 🙂👍 That's a nice looking JD! Great video buddy. I've used the copper stuff before, works pretty good. The older I get, I put anti-sieze on *everything* lol.
I thought the porting would be good practice, I've never tried it before. Now I can say I have. I just hope I don't need to get any farther into this engine
Love the ported intake mod! That must’ve added 50hp at least🤣! Gosh Jason that John Deere is in fantastic condition. Your Grandfather must’ve had quite the collection of tractors. Lookin forward to seeing it get tuned up. Hope you had a great Christmas with your family.😀👍
I don't know about 50hp, I calculated 45! I figure its good practice for doing the real thing someday. Did you get everything you wanted for Christmas?
Thank you.
Setting it up for racing, that's funny!
I do some of the same silly things when I do this type of stuff.
I thought it would be good practice in case I get to do the real thing someday
Lol, I would have matched the ports too. My friends think I'm crazy when I do stuff like that, but what the heck, it can't hurt anything.
That's what I thought. Not gonna hurt anything, and its good practice for a real job I might have in the future
i have a 1951 john deere A that i push snow with and just love it. your 50 looks like a sweet hart. keep the great videos coming.
Thanks Bob I really like the 50, its easy to drive plus the live hydraulics and pto
I have a 1951 john deere model a too!
I wish my model a looked like that
Get to working on it Scott, you need to get more videos out there!
@@sparksfireandbalingwire8467 I've been really busy here lately. Been saving for my dad's 2000 dodge dually. So I've been slacking
Hope u had a good Christmas mate.
Yes, I did. Hope you did as well. Let's hope 2021 will be a lot better than this one!
Happy Holidays, Good looking tractor, my JD starts good cold, warmed up, not so good. Keep smiling
I'm hoping a good tune up takes care of it. I don't want to do another rebuild!
Nice looking tractor!
Thanks! The restore is showing its age, but its still in pretty good shape
Interesting, since I have zero experience with two cylinder JDs :)
I don't either. I'm hoping I don't have to get any further into the engine, but on the other hand, it would be neat to see what its like in there

@@sparksfireandbalingwire8467 🤣! I did get what I wanted. I got a new camera for the channel, so I’m excited to start using it. How about you?
Hope you had a good Christmas with you’re family!
You too, my friend!
I stick to Alice Orange, but since it was your granddad's I can catch you some slack 🙂
Thats my favorite too, and I will be back to it soon
