  • I got the engine removed and took off the head and oil pan for an initial assessment of the engine's condition. In the next episode, I will be removing the pistons and crankshaft to see if there is any further damage.

Fantastic video on restoring old agricultural equipment. My grandfather ran a dairy farm and I miss helping work on the old tractors.

Engine teardown videos are always fun to watch. Despite the huge rats nest inside the bell housing the head, valves, and valve springs looked to be in real good shape. I’ve got high hopes for the block! Thanks for the shoutout, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday Jason😀👍.

Anytime Cody! It actually looks really good for an 80 year old engine. Can't wait to see it come back to life.

It is great to see another video again! I just got a hold of a 1939 Allis Chalmers B for my dad. I plan on doing a full restoration on his tractor!

@@sparksfireandbalingwire8467 I have no idea, I have only done 1 or 2 videos for the years I have been on here, But I am sure I can take some. I have the engine separate from the torque tube and rims off, almost stripped now. I am sure after I get back to it, I can post some stuff.

you're making it look easy Jason! The insides looked surprisingly good though, hope that's a sign of good things to come without to many hiccups. Appreciate that shout out brother it always helps. i cant wait to see this one in the end! Off topic, did you get a different camera? the picture quality looks excellent in this video, im still using my GoPro 7 but the new models are making me ponder trading it in and getting a newer onel lol, and what mic did you end up going with? i was looking at wired and wireless the other day to try and get away from that huge bracket i had to put on my case for an external mic. Your Audio ( before it died on ya) sounds great. talk to ya later man.

Same camera I've always had. The wireless mic sucks. I just put new batteries in before filming and couldn't even get a full video filmed. The worse part is, you have no way of knowing it quit until time to edit the footage. I really don't want to invest $300-400 in a good mic for my low rent, part time channel!

@@sparksfireandbalingwire8467 that little aux mic I have cost about $75 or $100 by the time I got the bits and pieces to it. It helps with wind noise and probably would be perfect for working in a shop. I’m always fighting wind noise working outside and it’s made a huge difference.
