You sir, are my spirit animal. Loved the WD45 series and can't wait to see the in's and out's of a C! I have both and both need work haha thank you for sharing.
Hey jason love the old builds buddy, I think we all tell ourselves we have lost it a time or two during builds we get ourselves into lol 😆, great video ✌️👊🏼👍🔥
*YES!!* 😀 I'm excited to see how nice you'll make it look buddy! Glad it turns over but that crank has sure seen better days! 😂 Nothing that can't be fixed though. Hopefully you can grab that Power Wagon too! 😉🔧
Was hoping not to rebuild since I'm going to have the added expense of rear tires, but I can tell already its going to need overhauling. Its only 80 years old, you would think it would last longer than that. Probably couldn't get that power wagon til spring now. I'd bet where its sitting, the snow is 5 or 6 feet deep.
Excellent, glad to see ya back at it. I ended up getting new tires for my WD45. They are mounted to the rims and just need to find the time to put em on. Went with BKT, 14.9-28 from Simple Tire. Little less than $1000 delivered for both. The original Goodyear Duratorques are discontinued and could not find anything used.
Oh man Jason, you done got yourself a ground up project tractor this time brother! I like it! Hopefully there won’t be too many surprises in the restoration. After seeing what you did last time I can’t wait for how this turns out!
@@sparksfireandbalingwire8467 it's a sh*t show in the oil refinery 🤣, have to laugh or I'd cry. Weathers been hit or miss, also dealing with insurance because some 16 year old got to close on a backroad and broke my f250 drivers side mirror (who knew that thing cost $1200!) Thank God for dashcams, and 1 week away from working 7/12s until April. Family is happy and healthy though so cant ask for more than that.
Wow! This one is definitely in rough shape, and kind of interesting that it doesn’t have an oil filter. I’ve never seen that before. Looks like it’s gonna be quite the challenge, but I know it’s going to look 100 times better when it’s finished😀👍. Looking forward to what you have planned for it.
Oh boy, another orange one! I always say the best deals out there are projects someone else has given up on. The thrust bearing might need a little attention.
Whenever I would start a project like this my dad would ask me how much the guy paid me to take it! I was just using my backhoe, which I put together from a 1946 WD block and a 1955 wd45, plus several other scattered bits and pieces, to clear snow yesterday. It is very satisfying to do those things.
Hola .lo saludo desde argentina .muy interesante el vídeo . espero poder ver los próximos videos .yo también tengo un allis chalmers ca . esperando poder hacelo funcionar. Saludos
I have a filter housing and rear wheels and tires in Ohio. Might be a ways away though. I’m removing the engine and making wheel adapters to run 8 lug combine wheels on mine for my son for pulling
@@sparksfireandbalingwire8467 yes. It has a pressure line from pump at back of engine to the bottom of housing and that’s it. A cork gasket and the housing needs to be flat to not leak. The Wc Wd wd45 b c ca all took the same one
Looks like a fun project. youll have a good time ., have fun and be safe,
I think it will be a fun little tractor
I am looking forward to all of the videos on this tractor. I really enjoyed the WD-45 restoration series. Great job!
Glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully this one will turn out as good.

Thanks Herb! This will be the biggest puzzle I've ever put together!
Looking forward to all of the C videos.
Its looking like there will be plenty of videos on this one.

Rear tires can be spendy! I found some 11.2 -24's for this tractor for $600 with tunes delivered

Thanks, buddy! This will give video material for quite a while. Hows everything going down there?

You need an outside portable sandblasting rig for that beast. Use tarps for recycling sand or walnut shells or whatever you use. lol

Thanks Cody! I've decided it will have an oil filter by time I'm done with it.
Looks like a diamond to me, keep smiling
Thanks Darren! That diamond is gonna need a lot of polishing!
This is gonna be another good restoration series!!
It will definitely give me plenty of material for videos!
You did a heck of a good job with that WD45. I’m sure this one will be a good amount of work but you’ll get her looking better than factory new.
I hope you are right! This one will be much needed around the farm.
G'day mate great new basket case 👍
Thanks much! The race is on now to see if I can have it done by spring.
This is going to be a fun series to watch. Hope it goes well! I didn't know you could get a tractor at IKEA.
HA! They are clear in the back of the catalog in the what were you thinking section!

It appears to be mostly there. The C will be handy to have around.

I like to think I bought a mower and got a free tractor with it! It always feels better using something you built yourself.

my dads first tractor was a c, way worse than this one if that's possible. Lol looking forward to this one. keep up the good work.
any new updates on the C been waiting like a child lol

Does the filter housing just bolt on without any other modifications?

@@sparksfireandbalingwire8467 no problem
I never got lucky enough to have one that was freed up, always had to bust the pistons out.
I still can't believe this one is not stuck! I've never seen a tractor as rusty as this one.
I hope it works for you
i think your emblem is on the pallet btw. also great video btw
I was surprised most of it is there.
Wait till I post about the one I have that’s receiving an I60 engine.
That should be an interesting one!
Wondered if you follow Oldfarmjunk101 he may have some needed parts👍
I will have to check that channel out
I have a c
They are nice little tractors. It will be handy when finished
