Hiking a Section of the Dahn Rock Trail (Dahner Felsenpfad)
The Dahn Rock Trail (German: Dahner Felsenpfad) is a captivating 12.5 km circular hiking trail located near the town of Dahn in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
I had the pleasure of traversing approximately 6 km of this trail that day. While I therefore not have experienced its entirety, I hope I was able to somewhat encapsulate its unique atmosphere.
It coincides with segments of the Palatinate Way of St. James, a component of the extensive network of pilgrimage paths across Europe. These routes typically trace the lines of prehistoric trade and ceremonial paths, meandering past distinctive landmarks and ancient places of power.

    I'm not seeing anything that isn't geological, to be honest. Massive ice sheets eeons ago carved this then dropped other rocks here and there as it grew and receded with the seasons over a millenia or several.

    • @mystictrailscommunity
      @mystictrailscommunity 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Perhaps you are right. I'm no geologist, but I for one have seen too many cubes and cuboids and strange arrangements in this relatively small area to attribute it solely to a glacier, frost blast, soil creep, etc.

      @@mystictrailscommunity correlation is not causation There's no milling marks, there's no pottery chart, there's no bones, no graineries, no sign of humans. There's no logical layout. And if you're going to say it's all buried then why aren't the rocks. If everything human was washed away, still why are there zero hewn marks on any of it? No petrogyphs. No soot on any of the rocks. It's all geological.

    I have taken 30,000 - 40,000 pictures of Felsenmeer. The area is about 4 square km. I also have cleaned a big stone next to the "Kiosk" (Northern side of Felsenmeer). My goal was to let common people and children understand what is really hidden behind Felsenmeer..., which translated in english means "Sea of Stones". I have discovered some disturbing facts about Felsenmeer. I want to thank a local person, Mr. L., for the opportunity and big priviledge he gave me to visit "the tower..." (construction of early 1900s). Btw the "Mohs Scale" of mineral hardness is a qualitative ordinal scale, from 1 to 10 etc.: ...see Wikipedia. Mohs scale clearly shows that Physics and Mathematics are not a personal opinion..., lets start from there. Felsenmeer is for sure not a tale ("....Märchen") of dragons and giants. Felsenmeer involves megalithic evidence. Best Regards from a city near Felsenmeer Germany. Rob.
