As a huge Batman fan, Tim Burton did it best. Incorporating the humor with the utter ridiculousness of the character with the much darker aspects. Like, Prince??? when I first watched it I did a double take the first time it came on, and the casting of Micheal Keaton was just so much out of left field as he had been Beetlejuice just the year before. It was amazing, and one of my all time favorite films.

It's a good game, this game has good narrative and this game has simple RPG elements. and then, i really like the atmosphere of this game. Recommend to try

This would have mentally scarred me for decades. This would have terrified me. I would have had nightmares, refusing to sleep. This is disturbing af. Even now as an adult this is very disturbing.

The family dog ......... such a classic cartoon, so many quotes I have of it. Annie Potts did a great job as the mom. I want to let my son watch it but I haven't been able to find it. All of amazing adventures was good.

So Jim Henson and Dr Seuss shouldn't get credit for their creations cause they didn't direct every episode/movie

Not sure of the timeline but there was an Aladdin movie I believe in the 50s I saw it when I was a kid in the 70s I liked it I would like to see it again Fair tale theater was good watched it every week

I actually preferred Return to Oz over Wizard of Oz. I grew up with Wizard of Oz, but it always bored me as a kid. Return to Oz actually kept my interest and I loved the characters much more, especially Jack.

As a kid my family was that type of Christian if you know what I mean, I wasn't allowed to trick or treat or watch horror movies or anything like that. I was at a sleepover one time and they turned on a nightmare before Christmas on a CD. That changed my world and how I viewed things. Every Halloween I would blast on misfits or the cure with headphones and just draw characters in a Tim Burton style. 17 years later and I still do that just to bring back the spirit of halloween. Thanks Tim, I haven't seen a lot of your movies, but the ones I have, I fell in love with and still watch.

I actually seen return to oz before the original movie, i was familiar with the books and an anime tv show so i knew the story. But return was my first movie venture into oz, and i wouldn't change it for the world. I loved the darker tone, and fairuza will always be my dorathy. A way to move forward might be to remake the original with this tone, i think it would do well nowadays

It's nice to revisit this version of Aladdin. I feel Disney's animated version owes more than a little to this one, but this owes a lot to the '60's Technicolor one with Sabu as Abu the Thief.

I saw this film and made my own wings out of old umbrellas. I was staying at my Nans house and decided to test them out, I climbed onto the roof of the house and took off. I was 10 and really flew just not for long and broke both legs!

My grandparents had a TV recording of "The Family Dog" segment that I would watch religiously every time I went to their house growing up. I was destroyed when i found out it was ruined after their basement flooded.

The movie is awesome. I watched it 9 times at the movies when it came out 81. Now I am 53 and bought it last year on DVD. It is still as good as back then. ".... yes but.." No!! Still as good. All tounge in cheek and good vibes all the way. Condermann forever😎🤙🪽 Greetings from Denmark🇩🇰

So when South Park said Tim Burton hadn't made an original film since Bettlejuice. They were suprisely right. Who would have though Burton stole all the credit for Nightmare Before Christmas from Henry Selick.

If you think this is crazy, there's also an officially licensed manga by Hiroto Wada where Stitch travels back in time to feudal Japan and teams up with a no-nonsense samurai. Seriously.

I think this movie was Tim's way of venting his trauma from working on 'The Fox and the Hound'. And maybe a little revenge on the side.

Omg, I actually grew up watching the whole of FairyTaleTheatre on a DVD box set! Unfortunately, some of the discs were damaged over the years but Aladdin and his wonderful lamp was one of my favorites! I can’t believe I never noticed Tim Burton’s magical touch in that episode until now!>✨0✨)>

One of the local stations in Charleston SC used to run Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theater in reruns back in the 90s. Mick Jagger as a Chinese emperor was a thing that happened.

Family dog was similar to love death and robots, why? Man They have fluid animation almost movie like, action explicit content and both are far ahead to their time.
