this table turned out beautiful, the glass top added to the beauty. I know most people won't look at it but why not put some type of finish on the underside of the piece? I don't do woodworking but it seems that would add an extra nice touch to the end product. Thanks

I love the natural finish on this lovely little table, but I’m not sure the darker trim on top works all that well. It just looks very out of place. I wonder if the trim would look like it belongs if it had been coloured to match the rest of the table instead.

I dont know what they were thinking when they put the bolts through the tabletop.You did a decent job repairing that mess.

It's actually really common where I live. Beautiful pieces too, not all broken up. A few weeks ago there was a giant armoire with carved detail and everything just down the street in a driveway with a FREE sign on it but I have no more room in my place. I wish I had a garage so I could collect pieces.

Turned out nice! Could you have used the sawdust from sanding the top, mix that with glue, to fill in around the dowels? It might have turned out just as well.
