That little table is perfect in its natural state. The trim to cover the damaged veneer was a brilliant solution and gives the table a touch of whimsy.

That little table really came out great!! I love the color green, but it was all wrong for that piece. You did a fantastic job of mixing the paint to match the veneer! 😊

Such a beautiful transformation! One thing I would have changed after seeing you add the knobs and washers in that brass color: I would have painted the pine top trim in the same brass paint rather than the darker color stain. Just my preference, but one couldn’t argue with how well you made that green monstrosity into an elegant and beautiful work of art… bravo.

Now we have proof - some frogs are actually princesses - as proven by you in turning this piece! 🎉 I very much like your solution for the top - would it be possible to insert glass to protect the surface now? - and I love the new knobs. Very appropriate attire for a princess 😉

Wow! I love how that turned out-turned fancy legs and designs like that are truly difficult! I have a dresser that was painted-I wish I had known the steel wool trick! It still came out well, but I had to use a gold paint in the cut out design.
